Scozzafava Suspends Her Campaign for Congress

Good news for conservatives and Republicans.  And great praise for Republican Dede Scozzafava for her decision.  Prager friends, send her your thanks for her patriotism. 

 Dede Scozzafava may have set the groundwork absolutely necessary for the birth of a sincere and honest truth upfront conservative movement within the Republican Party to win back America and its finest values!!  

From all reports from all fronts, Dede Scozzafava is a devoted Republican in name, and a devoted Republican occasionally on economic issues.  Yet she supported that preposterous stimulus package advanced by Obama and many establishment Republicans.  Dede was chosen by this Republican establishment to replace the Republican Congressman who had inhabited this office as Republicans had in this upstate New York District since something like an Ice Age ago.  Apparently she supports “Gay” rights, card check and abortion and a few other of the usual suspects which turn most conservatives away from this establishment. 

These Republicans cannot be trusted by conservatives to be conservative.  Yet these are the Republicans who are in the majority in Washington and I suspect in New York and I suspect in the Republican Party in our state of Minnesota.  These are also the Republicans who are programmed to dislike conservatives….such as the David Froms who strive to clone the Party to the Left as far as it takes to get a Republican elected.   To hell with values.  Traditional values get in the way.  That is so “yesterday”.  Dump the Christians, dump the traditional marriage folks, dump the anti abortionists, camoflage  what you believe in, but push private enterprise….especially big time capitalism that footsies up with Big Government.   Pander to the gay activists, pander to the feminists, ignore  the Marxist trends in our educational systems, bribe the voters with goodies, preach peace, ignore the jihadist assault of  Western values….Forget about democracy in the world…….Invest in the future, Big Government and its Global Warming…(oops that is so yesterday today)….”Climate Change.” 

The David Froms are not bad people.  They want Republicans to win.  We Prager fans want Prager conservative Republicans to win.  They just need to date each other more often.

Most Republicans went to the same left wing classes in universities as Democrats.  Where would they have learned a conservative alternative, both economic and social?  Certainly not from graduate school America.

I call myself a Prager conservative.  I agree with Dennis, or I could claim Dennis agrees with me about 98% of the time.  I enjoy a great advantage over Dennis in that I am a devoted landscape gardener making me an outdoor person.  Dennis is an accomplished musician and a very skilled and widely admired radio talk show host.   By agreeing with Dennis as if I were his clone, I  enthusiastically identify with  his views on both social and economic issues…After all, folks, American democracy is based on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  As Prager preaches, ‘The Larger the Government, The Smaller the Citizen!” 

I believe America has been in a state of collapse since the Cultural Revolution of the late 1960s.  Culturally, morally, ethically, educationally, religiously, philosophically, socially. The nation was under assault by the Left.  Only the military held its own.   The country went to college and then to graduate school and lost common sense.  College became a dumping grounds for political things, things stupid to the hysterical.  The teaching professional was replaced by  Marxist herd animals  feasting  on the carcass of academic freedom.   

Despite president Obama’s drive for government controls over American life,  many in his Democrat constituency believe in traditional American values.   That is why I believe that at this time with the mainstream press, the entertainment and educational industries enamored by  Obama’s Marxist rhetoric and government expanding agenda with overwhelming  one party political control over Congress, the country remains skiddish about the Marxist answer.  More than skiddish.  Worried.

Besides  these Democrats who believe in the real America, there are the Dede Scozzafavas.  I believe her when she pleads understanding that she is a devoted Republican.  She needs to listen more often to Dennis, or other  well rounded conservatives, those which fuse the social and  economic traditional American values; those, like Dennis who hold and defend this union as the base for developing and maintaining ideals in our  political and governmental enterprise.

Why have Republicans missed this Prager message?  Because they went to graduate school in the social sciences,  paid dear money to do so, and emerged unsure of the meaning of being American. What they too often learned in graduate school  has been disgraceful. 

Americans should be grateful for these half way Republicans.  Conservatives should join this Party with great hope, knowledge and clarity on the issues, and with resolve.  I suspect most Republicans presently in office are closet conservatives.  Because of their college education and a tendency to obey  their establishment Republican advisors, they learn to hide their Americanism. 

America does not need a third national political party…That is, unless the Democrats want to split from its present Marxist oriented leadership to form an American Liberal Party.  Republicans and conservatives must dance together in the task to rebuild America.

 Dede Scozzafava has put her America first.  May God Bless Her for the example she sets. 

Advertise your ideas ala Prager, dear Americans.  They are winners.  Start first with your Republican base.  Educate them on the country’s classic values.  Teach them tolerance for those socially and educationally unaware, yet be steadfast in your ideals.  Help these fellow Americans become aware of  the country’s true  needs.  Remind us of the magic of the American Constitution.  Teach Republicans to insist that American courts judge by the law, not by political whim.   Support democracy throughout the world.

Remind Republicans of the universal truth of the Woody Allen comment:  “Nature is one giant restaurant.”     Every living organism must struggle  for its place among the living or decline and die.

President Obama is an indoor person.  He apparently has never come across that realization.

And don’t forget to say “thankyou” to Dede Scozzafava, that patriot from New York.

Copenhagen: “The Beginning of the End of the American Constitution?

                
One thing certain about these ten months of Obamaism running America.  It is an exciting and dramatic time.  One never knows what new bombardments aimed at  our nation’s democratic institutions the president and his fellow Marxists leading the Democrat Party will deploy.

“On Monday, October 12th, I was
extremely privileged to spend time with Lord Christopher Monckton and
his wife, Lady Juliet Monckton. You never know the unexpected ways in
which God will bless you.  In passing the evening with this exceptional
couple, I was doubly blessed not only by the pleasure of their
excellent company but also by their clear insight into matters of great
import–matters that have the potential utterly to destroy the
sovereignty of the United States. This entry recounts what Lord and
Lady Monckton shared with myself and others over the course of a
pre-lecture dinner conversation. His Lordship also worked a portion of
this information into his talk at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
later that evening.
Lord Monckton is one of the few people who has thorough familiarity with a
recently completed draft of the treaty President Obama will sign in
Copenhagen in just a matter of weeks. He does not mince words about
what he has found in the course of his reading of the document.
The treaty is not just a foot in the door for one-world government. It IS communist, one-world government.
And because of the high regard in which our Constitution holds foreign
treaties, this document, if ratified by Congress, would supercede the Constitution.
The treaty will, of course, be signed under the banner of coming together internationally to “save the environment” through the reduction of carbon emissions. Except, oh dear, cat’s out of the bag…global warming is a giant lie.
While Lord Monckton has become one of
the most visible and vocal apologists for this fact, he is hardly

them up, have revealed the meme of human-caused climate change as a

With wealth comes a cleaner environment.
When nations have money and a sense of civic responsibility–such as
that present in this nation–they tend to clean up after themelves.
Even if global warming, or “climate change,” were
a reality, the United States and other Western nations could never, in
honesty, be called the world’s most egregious polluters (I’m sure we
all have an awareness of who would be on that list). Except, that’s exactly
how this treaty labels us. And in so labeling, not only does it attempt
to rob us of our sovereignty, it also wants to drain us of our wealth
via a huge reparations scam. As the “big polluters,” we will be forced to pay a substantial portion of our GDP to the Third World
for “ruining the environment.” If we do not pony up, we will be subject
to even heavier penalties under international law. As I understand it
from Lord Monckton, the treaty implements its chains very cleverly and
on many levels. It will bind us more closely, for example, to other
organizations of dubious reputation and merit such as the UN, the IMF,
and the World Bank. We will be surrounded and pinned.
We have all watched redistribution of
wealth occurring on an international scale for some time now. TARP
involved the transfer of billions of dollars to other nations. But this
treaty would RATIONALIZE, INSTITUTIONALIZE, and ACCELERATE the redistribution.
To be abundantly clear, the American
people will have no voice or say in this matter–or likely many
others–once the treaty is signed. Lord Monckton expressed very frankly
that the words democracy, electorate, and voting are conspicuously
absent from the treaty language. This document is intended to make
America powerless and poor.
THE COPENHAGEN TREATY MUST NOT BE RATIFIED!!!
The Copenhagen conference is scheduled
for early December. We have only a few short weeks to educate our
fellow Americans and make a very loud noise to our wily legislators so
that they do not end up enslaving us through a foolish or underhanded
vote against U.S. sovereignty.
The best place to start is to become familiar with the content of the treaty draft itself, which you can find here.
Also, arm yourself with facts on the
matter of climate change. Lord Monckton is, of course, an excellent
source. Many organizations, such as the Committee for a Constructive
Tomorrow (CFACT) and Americans for Prosperity (AFP) frequently offer
free copies of Monckton’s 2007 video, Apocalypse? No!
The video doesn’t contain all the most recent damning science, but it’s
an excellent start. His Lordship is very engaging. You won’t be bored.

hard-core idealogues. If those who are simply misguided could see where
this will take us–the crushing cost to our freedom and our
finances–they might begin to take a different view of what they have
been told is best for them–indeed, what is “best” all of us.

Marxist Obama Backs Ortega Coup in Nicaragua With Silence

Communist Daniel Ortega (remember the Sandanista gangs in the 1980’s…yes that Daniel Ortega) is manipulating a coup in Nicaragua to elevate himself to become that country’s Dictator for Life.  Nicaragua is next door to Honduras.  In Honduras, Manuel Zelaya was manipulating the same type of coup in Honduras until last June when the legitimate government institutions of Honduras arrested him for treason, but for fear of  a Hugo Chavez supported rebellion, sent him off into exile in Costa Rica in his pajamas. 

The vacuous Barack Obama, a Marxist in his own right, withdrew financial support to Honduras as punishment,  and joined the thugs of the world to force a Zelaya return to the Honduran presidency. 

The Obama White House is totally silent about this anti-American,  pro Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro coup in Nicaragua.  It intends to be.  Its Latin American Affairs staff is Marxist as well, mostly of the Fidel Castro stripe.  

The Wall Street Journal published the following editorial on Tuesday, October 27, 2009:

“If Honduras manages to preserve its democracy despite U.S. pressure to abandon it, the tiny Central American country many wind up thanking Nicaragua’s Danny Ortega, of all people.

Last week, President Ortega inadvertently provided the best defense yet of the Honduran decision this summer to remove Manuel Zelaya from the presidency.  Nicaragua has a one-term limit for presidents, and Mr. Ortega’s term expires in 2011.  However, the Nicaraguan doesn’t want to leave, and so he asked the Sandinista-controlled Supreme Court to overturn the constitutional ban on his re-election.

Last week the court’s constitutional panel obliged him.  The Nicaraguan press reported that the vote was held before three opposition judges could reach the chamber in time for the session.  Three alternative judges, all Sandinistas, took their place and the court gave Mr. Ortega the green light.  Mr. Ortega has decreed that the ruling cannot be appealed.

This is classic strong-man stuff on Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela model.  Mr. Ortega’s approval rating is in the low 30% range and he’d have a hard time winning a fair election against a united opposition.  But he controls the nation’s electoral council, and in the 2008 municipal races – the most important elected checks on the president – the council refused to provide a transparent accounting of the vote tally.  It also blocksed international and local observers, and the vote was marred by claims of widespread fraud.  The international community watched all this but did nothing.  And now Mr. Ortega is taking the next chavista step toward indefinite rule.

Hondurans deposed Mr. Zelaya because he was showing similar designs on changing their constitution to be able to run agains and stay in power.  Hondurans have to live in Mr. Ortega’s neighborhood, and their action against  Mr. Zelaya may well have saved them from Nicaragua’s fate.’

Krauthammer: Flaws in Strategy, Drift, and Child-like Obama

In response to president Obama’s speech this week delaying his dithering  with troop levels fighting the fight in Afghanistan, Charles Krauthammer complained:

“There is something truly disgusting about the way he cannot refrain from attacking Bush when he’s being defensive  about himself.

It’s beyond disgraceful!

He won the election one year ago.  He became  Commander-in-Chief two  months later.  He announced his own strategy six months ago, not the Bush strategy, but his own strategy, and it wasn’t off-handed.  It was a major address with the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense with him.    He’s still talking about the drift in the Bush years.

What is happening today is not a result of so-called drift in the Bush years.  It is because of the drift in his year.  It’s because of the flaws in his own strategy, which is what he is now reexamining.  He has every right as Chief of Staff to be reexamining his own strategy.

But he ought to be honest and courgeous enough as President to simply say, “I am rethinking  the  policy  I adopted  six  months  ago”,  and  not,  once again, and ‘child-like’ attack his predecessor.”

Obama’s Tax Credit Programs Leaky

Today’s Wall Street Journal blogsite reports

“It’s hard not to laugh when viewing the results of the federal first-time home-buyer tax credit. The credit, worth up to $8,000 for the purchase of a home, has only been available since April of last year. Yet news of the latest taxpayer-funded mortgage scam has traveled fast. The Treasury’s inspector general for tax administration, J. Russell George, recently told Congress that at least 19,000 filers hadn’t purchased a home when they claimed the credit. For another 74,000 filers, claiming a total of $500 million in credits, evidence suggests that they weren’t first-time buyers.

Among those claiming bogus credits, at least some of them were definitely first-timers. The credit has already been claimed by 500 people under the age of 18, including a four-year-old. This pre-K housing whiz likely bought because mom and dad make too much to qualify for the full credit, which starts to phase out at $150,000 of income for couples, $75,000 for singles.

As a “refundable” tax credit, it guarantees the claimants will get cash back even if they paid no taxes. A lack of documentation requirements also makes this program a slow pitch in the middle of the strike zone for scammers. The Internal Revenue Service and the Justice Department are pursuing more than 100 criminal investigations related to the credit, and the IRS is reportedly trying to audit almost everyone who claims it this year.”   

Keep in mind Prager fans, that when fraud from government programs is expected to run ten to twelve per cent of any program’s funding, the bigger the bribe, the greater the “financial return”  for these embezzlers.  It might even add up to real money.  Let’s see.  What is ten per cent of   $500,000,000,000 again?

When interviewed on television, Mr. George said he discovered that many  of the recipients of the Democratic Party largesse were undocumented immigrants.  Are you surprised?  ghr

Contrasting Obama and H.S.Truman Foreign Policies: Handling Regional Thugs

A week or two ago some entity on my facebook requested my vote regarding the best President for America, and I presumed “for democracy”, over  the past 50 years.  JFK, GW Bush, Billie, and Ronald Reagan were the candidates. 

Other “polls” have popped up here and there over the years  usually adding 5o more years to the time span to  include  FDR and Woodrow Wilson.  American history text writers having graduated from leftwing academies, like to guide readers toward  voting for Democrats from early on in life.  They can pummel Herbert Hoover as an aside as well.

Reagan does well these days over either time span restriction.  And he should.

Lefty text writers and writers for the New York Times and other such printing agencies pump up presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and John Kennedy.  FDR receives too much credit and failed in his efforts to lead the country out of the Great Depression, and JFK didn’t live long enough in the office to distinguish special qualities beyond his leadership durig the Cuban crisis of 1962 and his remarkable charm with the American press and public in general.

Who is usually missing from any list of candidates of special presidents is, in my view, one of our nation’s most successful “democrat”, a true believer in the “sanctity” of governments of the “people, by the people, and for the people?” 

Harry S. Truman.

I was reminded of  President Truman by an article in today’s Wall Street Journal, written by Victor David Hanson, “Truman and the Principles of U.S. Foreign Policy.  It includes a brief list of Truman’s accomplishments, most, if not all against the wishes of his own State Department.   Mr. Hanson writes:

“Truman constantly learned from his mistakes  Gradually the president shed his Wilsonian trust that there would be a postwar global consensus under the aegis of the new United Nations.   Instead, he came to believe that too many trans-Atlantic diplomatic elites had been terribly naive about Stalin’s murderous agenda.

Against the advice of his angry State Department, Truman supported the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel in 1948.  The Berlin Airlift, the Marshall Plan, the salvation of Greece and Turkey, and success pushing the Communists north of the 38th parallel in Korea all established the parameters of the next half-century of bipartisan American foreign policy.  ………

Truman’s no-nonsense Secretary of State Dean Acheson summed up the president’s doctrines:  ‘Released from the acceptance of a dogma that builders and wreckers of a new world order could and should work happily and successfully together, he was free to combine our power and coordinate our action with those who did have a common purpose.’

Ever since, most Democrats have embraced Truman’s ‘common purpose’.  That means containing rival anti-Western ideologies, establishing alliances of similarly-minded democratic allies, and periodically standing up to regional thugs.

Jimmy Carter’s presidency was a departure from this strategy.  Mr. Carter started out cutting defense…….”

Thomas Sowell Essay: Obama’s Dismantling of America

Do you still believe Barack Hussein Obama isn’t a classic Marxist and is determined to declaw and make toothless American democracy?  Please read the following essay by Thomas Sowell, noted conservative economist.

“Just one year ago, would you have believed that an unelected government
official, not even a Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate but simply one of
the many “czars” appointed by the President, could arbitrarily cut the pay of
executives in private businesses by 50 percent or 90 percent?

Did you think that another “czar” would be talking about restricting talk
radio? That there would be plans afloat to subsidize newspapers– that is, to
create a situation where some newspapers’ survival would depend on the
government liking what they publish? 

 Did you imagine that anyone would even be talking about having a panel of
so-called “experts” deciding who could and could not get life-saving medical
treatments?

Scary as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the
standpoint of freedom. If you have a mother who needs a heart operation or a
child with some dire medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out
against an administration that has the power to make life and death decisions
about your loved ones?

Does any of this sound like America?
How about a federal agency giving school children material to enlist them on
the side of the president? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is
apparently not enough.

How much of America would be left if the federal government continued on this
path? President Obama has already floated the idea of a national police force,
something we have done without for more than two centuries.
We already have local police forces all across the country and military
forces for national defense, as well as the FBI for federal crimes and the
National Guard for local emergencies. What would be the role of a national
police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him? It
would seem more like the brown shirts of dictators than like anything
American.

How far the President will go depends of course on how much resistance he
meets. But the direction in which he is trying to go tells us more than all his
rhetoric or media spin.
Barack Obama has not only said that he is out to “change the United States of
America,” the people he has been associated with for years have expressed in
words and deeds their hostility to the values, the principles and the people of
this country.

Jeremiah Wright said it with words: “God damn America!” Bill Ayers said it
with bombs that he planted. Community activist goons have said it with their
contempt for the rights of other people.
Among the people appointed as czars by President Obama have been people who
have praised enemy dictators like Mao, who have seen the public schools as
places to promote sexual practices contrary to the values of most Americans, to
a captive audience of children.

Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those
people more thoroughly before appointing them are missing the point completely.
Why should we assume that Barack Obama didn’t know what such people were like,
when he has been associating with precisely these kinds of people for decades
before he reached the White House?

Nothing is more consistent with his lifelong patterns than putting such
people in government– people who reject American values, resent Americans in
general and successful Americans in particular, as well as resenting America’s
influence in the world.
Any miscalculation on his part would be in not thinking that others would
discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox
News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what
they are. Fox News is now high on the administration’s enemies list.
Nothing so epitomizes President Obama’s own contempt for American values and
traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year–
each bill more than a thousand pages long– too fast for either of them to be
read, much less discussed. That he succeeded only the first time says that some
people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to
keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question– and
the biggest question for this generation.”

If There Were Justice, Al Gore Would Be In Jail For Fraud

If there were  justice in the world, Al Gore would be in jail for life.  The fraud of “Global Warming”  which has enriched this hotel-room-raised zealot by more that $300,000,000 in only a few years and has cost the nation trillions already in following this pied piper, is soon to be used to cripple democracy and the engines which have created this great nation called America.

There are now world wide clones of Al Gore.   These are indoor people.   Many of the most devious are lawyers trained in the arts of conartistry in the sunless closets of law school.  Some actually believe in their devotion to their imaginations.  They have never entered the world of science, especially the Earth sciences such as Geology, Geomorphology, Botany, Oceanography.  Millions are single women devoted to hysterics for their problem solving skills.  That the Earth as well as the Universe of yesterday, today and tomorrow is changing and  has always been changing and always will be changing seems to be totally foreign to these modern devotees to Marxist rule.

Man and woman are momentary microscopic pimples in this space or lack of space.  “As for Man, his days are as grass….As the lily of the field so he flourisheth….And the wind passeth over it, and it is gone.  And the place thereof shall know it no more!”   So it is has been written in the Book of Psalms. 

Do any college graduate American Marxists know what the Book of Psalms is?

This new world order of the graduate school student  is the OLD WORLD ORDER OF MARXISM,  but in new clothing.  Barack Obama is one of its priests.

The Washington Times offers the following  editorial  in today’s issue:

“Environmental alarmism is being exploited to chip away at national sovereignty. The latest threat to American liberties may be found in the innocuous sounding Copenhagen Climate Treaty, which will be discussed at the United Nations climate-change conference in mid-December. The alert was sounded on the treaty in a talk given by British commentator Lord Christopher Monckton at Bethel College in St. Paul, Minn., on Oct. 14. Video of the talk has become an Internet sensation.

The treaty’s text is not yet finalized but its principles are aimed at regulating all economic activity in the name of climate security, with a side effect that billions of dollars would be transferred from productive countries to the unproductive.

The control lever is the regulation of carbon emissions, which some purport are causing global warming. The treaty would establish a Carbon Market Regulatory Agency and “global carbon budget” for each country.

In effect, this would allow the treaty’s governing bodies to limit manufacturing, transportation, travel, agriculture, mining, energy production and anything else that emits carbon – like breathing.

Treaty supporters market the agreement through fear. Even though mean global temperatures have been on a downward spiral for several years after peaking in 1998, we are told that catastrophe is imminent. “The world has already crossed the threshold beyond which it is no longer possible to avoid negative impacts of anthropogenic climate change,” says proposed treaty language being circulated by Greenpeace, the World Wildlife Fund and other groups. It is critical that they cultivate a sense of impending doom to justify the sweeping restrictions and new powers enshrined in the treaty. The sky is falling and they want us to act now, act swiftly, act before it is too late – but don’t read the fine print.

The governing authority envisioned by the document reads like a bad George Orwell knockoff. The treaty establishes a body called the Conference of the Parties (COP), which is given ultimate authority over administering and enforcing the treaty. Its executive arm is something called the Adaptation Fund Board, under which is the Copenhagen Climate Facility, also known as “the Facility.” The Facility is necessary because in order to save the planet, “the way society is structured will need to change fundamentally.” This change would be impossible under the “fragmented set of existing institutions,” so the Facility will step in with “such legal capacity as is necessary for the exercise of its functions and the protection of its interests.” That’s the Facility’s interests, not yours.

The Facility will be run by an executive committee, the membership of which “may include representation from relevant intergovernmental and non-governmental stakeholders.” So left-wing pressure groups, animal rights fanatics, tree-huggers, Al Gore or any other part of the environmentalist fringe would be eligible for executive committee membership. Naturally, global-warming skeptics like Lord Monckton need not apply.

A “massive scaling up of financial resources” will be required to fund the COP’s activities. The United States and others will be required to transfer $800 billion over five years, with additional funding requirements assessed on an as-needed basis. The COP will have taxing authority “including, but not limited to, a levy on aviation and maritime transport.” The ability to tax aircraft and shipping is bad enough, but as careful readers of the elastic clauses of the U.S. Constitution know, the phrase “including but not limited to” authorizes any tax they can imagine.

Signatories of the treaty will be required to file reports to the Committee for Reporting and Review (“the Committee”), and if found not in compliance with the treaty’s terms, they may have to face “the Facilitative Branch.” If this branch finds that a country is violating the terms of the agreement, it will “undertake the measures necessary” to bring the country back into compliance.

The treaty language would be farcical but for the fanaticism of its proponents. The environmental movement is driven by a millenarian determination to save humanity from itself, regardless of its impact on real people. President Obama reportedly will skip the Copenhagen meeting unless the treaty language is finalized. We urge him to resist the urge to pander to the international community at the expense of the United States.

Another Way to Influence Pending Legislation

Few can doubt the efficacy of contacting our Representatives about legislation—even every day as Michelle Bachmann recommends.  We can make both Democrats and Republicans worry about being re-elected—hence we can influence their votes on issues.

There is also a way to move influential Democrat voters, in particular, those in non-profit organizations.  Since Republicans across all income levels donate more to charity than Democrats I wonder what non-profits are thinking these days about the dangerous policies of the Obama administration and the Democrats in Congress.

An example:  Yesterday I answered a call from my Alma Mater.  Like most academic institutions I suspect that this university is leftist.  When the fund-raiser asked me for a contribution I told her that in the economy directed by this Administration my husband and I lost half the value of our retirement savings and were looking at being taxed at higher and higher punitive levels on what little funds were left.  With our diminishing discretionary income we would contribute to two causes: our church and candidates who would defeat the job-killing, economy-killing legislation of this Administration.  I further suggested that the fund-raiser call President Obama and ask for my portion of charitable giving.  Our President supports European style socialism where the government, with its high level of taxation, leaves citizens with the idea that government takes care of all charity.  Individuals need do nothing to help those in need, for an anonymous government is supposed to do all that for them.  (Callers usually have scripts where they are offered suggested responses when people put up objections.  I doubt there was a line in the script on Obama’s socialism.)

Enough responses like this will certainly stun the non-profits and encourage them to call their Representatives and maybe even the President, himself!
