Obama Betrays Democracy At Home And In Honduras!

It is a rare day when the United States of America has actively attempted to sabotage a democratic country.  An argument can be made the Obama administration is sabotaging democracy in our  own country.  I do subscribe to that belief.  The evidence is overwhelming.  But it is not  chic for Americans  to consider evidence these days.

One can begin with the Obama administration jamming down the throats of the American taxpayers the two pillars of his congressional offerings thus far;  the Government seizure of the nation’s health industry and his cap and trade tax plan to cripple America’s ability to produce products competive in the world markets.  The  bills are unreadable.   Passage is demanded within 24 hours. Marxist trickery is afoot.  Take overs of the auto industry, the National Endowment for the Arts,  and much of the financial world are  just side shows.   Playing footsie with the world’s worst tyrannies is central to the Obama foreign policy.   He is into the love business.

Deceit apparently comes natural to this president.  His truth profile lies somewhere between  the  narcissistic maniachal liar and the isolated  college child’s rote disingenuosness, learned from  buttering up to  his Marxist professors in his attempt to achieve the highest grades.

At the very best the man is “clever” with his words and relies on the fawning press to pretty him up as a democrat.

Mr. Obama is America’s first Marxist president.  It is important to his rule, the population doesn’t understand what Marxist means.  …Read Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, and Saul Alinsky, Obama’s major mentors, and George Soros, a major financier for Marxist candidates for starters to become acquainted with the “thinking” Obama.

Company Obama is investing great energy  to sabotage the democracy defended by the courageous majority of the citizens of Honduras.

THE MAJOR ENEMIES  OF  DEMOCRACY IN HONDURAS AT PRESENT  ARE   MARXIST HUGO CHAVEZ AND MARXIST BARACK OBAMA!  Other enemies of democracy in Honduras are the flaccid bureaucrats of both the Democrat and Republican National Parties  for their ignorance  and/or  indifference, for the stuggles of democrats beyond our borders.

Although I thoroughly disagree with his explanation freeing Marxist Obama from duplicity in this issue, at least one  U.S. Senator Jim DeMint from South Carolina has taken interest. Senator DeMint wrote the following in today’s edition of the Wall Street Journal:

“After visiting Tegucigalpa last week and meeting with a crosss section of leaders from Honduras’s government, business community, and civil society, I can report there is no chaos there.   There is, however, chaos to spare in the Obama administration’s policy toward our poor and loyal allies in Honduras.

That policy was set in a snap decision the day Mr. Zelaya was removed from office, without a full assessment of either the facts or reliable legal analysis of the constitutional provisions at issue.  Three months later, it remains in force, despite mounting evidence of its moral and legal incoherence.

While in Honduras, I spoke to dozens of Hondurans, from nonpartisan members of civil society to former Zelaya political allies, from Supreme Court judges to presidential candidates and even personal  friends of Mr. Zelaya.  Each relayed stories of a man changed and corrupted by power.  The evidence of Mr. Zelayas’s abuses of presidential power- and his illegal attempts to rewrite the Honduran Constitution, ala Hugo Chavez – is not only overwhelming but uncontroverted….

The presidential election is on schedule for November 29.  Under Honduras’s one-term limit, Mr. Zelaya could not have sought re-election anyway.  Current President Roberto Micheletti – who was installed after Mr. Zelaya’s removal, per the Honduran Constitution – is not on the ballot either.  The presidential candidates were nominated in primary elections almost a year ago, and all of them – including Mr. Zelaya’s former vice president- expect the elections to be free, fair, and transparent, as has every Honduran election for a generation.

Indeed, the desire to move beyond the Zelaya era was almost universal in our meetings.  Almost.

In a day packed with meetings, we met only one person in Honduras who opposed Mr. Zelaya’s ouster, who wishes his return, and who mystifyingly rejects the legitimacy of the November elections:  U.S. Ambassador Hugo Llorens……” Senator DeMint continues by providing a listing of other evidence for the truth he presents.

When will Republicans realize this is A MARXIST PRESIDENT GOVERNING WITH MARXIST INTENT!  THE REASON OBAMA OPPOSES FREE ELECTIONS IN HONDURAS IS BECAUSE OBAMA POLITICAL ACTIONS ARE DIRECTED AGAINST  THE BUSINESS, CHURCH, CIVIC, SOCIAL,  AND  DEMOCRATIC PULSE BEAT OF THE COUNTRY OF HONDURAS.  THE OBAMA LATIN AMERICAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT STAFF IS  ITSELF A MARXIST  FAN CLUB.

Two weeks ago the United States Congressional Research Service, a nonpartisan body that helps research issues for members of the U.S. Congress reported that Honduras’s courts and Congress acted legally in removing Mr. Zelaya from office.  The report concluded that it had been illegal to remove Zelaya from the country.  By law he should have been arrested to stand trial for treason.

Marty Seifert

Marty Seifert opened two hours of discussion with our Prager group with a short dissertation on his passion for our country. He continued to speak and respond to our questions without once referring to a note—a refreshing change from our dear leader and his ever-present teleprompter.

Some of the highlights:
1. Why Obama won. A combination of three factors: a broken Republican brand, abandonment of party principles by McCain, and a tap by Obama into the cynicism of the times.

2. Camp Wellstone. The DFL, since Wellstone’s death, has schooled countless young people who are now securely in positions of power in Minnesota. The DFL built their bench with this camp while the state Republicans totally missed the mark—and continue to miss the mark to build up the base. (For details on how Camp Wellstone began and continues to build the DFL see http://www.wellstone.org/about-us.)

2. The number one priority is jobs. Seifert gave several concrete examples of losing jobs to other states. One example was a compelling story of an unbelievably excessive distillery license fee of $30,000 that pushed a ready and able employer to set up shop in Iowa. Failure plays an important part in job creation and should be allowed to manifest itself.

3. Importance of de-funding the left. Tommy Thompson (Wisconsin), and his use of the line item veto, is a model of success on this front. De-funding the left should be part of a “full-monty” strategy. He believes that debate is winnable.

4. How to handle the Vikings. Use a market-based solution to ensure that the Vikings stay in Minnesota. The lesson of negotiations with the Twins offers some guidance for the state gave away way too much and demanded very little.

5. How to convince young adults. Several college students came to Seifert’s office with a plea for renewable energy. After an object lesson where he asked the students to give up their cell phones, computers, and other fun items, the kids saw the light!

6. Future of Ethanol. Marty believes that we must honor the contracts (up in 4 more years) with those ethanol plants that are still viable. He will have no trouble selling the idea that ethanol companies must stand on their own with no more subsidies. Despite having the largest plant in his district he voted against ethanol subsidies.

7. His campaign. Seifert will not take any money from lobbyists despite heavy “lobbying” from many well-wishers on the ease of taking such money. He is forming a steering committee and asked us to sign up if we were interested. He plans to have 2000 donors by January. His website is operation and even includes tweeting—one need not be a tweeter to tweet with him.
