Report From the New York Times: ACORN Folding! Don’t Believe It!

Ian Urbina has reported in the New York Times that ACORN is folding.  He writes:

“The community organizing group Acorn announced Monday that it would close all its remaining state affiliates and field offices by April 1.

The organization is “developing a plan to resolve all outstanding debts, obligations and other issues,” said a statement released by the group.

Acorn has been battered by criticism from the right and has lost federal money and private donations since a video sting was publicized last fall. Acorn employees were shown in the videos advising two young conservative activists — posing as a pimp and a prostitute — how to conceal their criminal activities.

In reaction to the videos, the Census Bureau ended its partnership with the organization for this year’s census, the Internal Revenue Service dropped the group from its Voluntary Income Tax Assistance program, and Congress voted to cut off all grants to the organization.

In recent years, the group has also been dogged by mismanagement and criticism — mostly from conservatives — for its handling of voter registration drives.

Last month, the Brooklyn district attorney’s office completed an investigation of the Acorn employees there who appeared in the video and concluded that they had not taken part in any criminality.

“For Acorn as a national organization, our vindication on the facts doesn’t necessarily pay the bills,” Bertha Lewis, the chief executive of Acorn, said in a statement.

While the videos gave the impression that one of the two activists, James E. O’Keefe III, was dressed as a pimp when he entered the offices, later inspection seemed to indicate that he had manipulated that part of the footage and showed no evidence that he wore the costume when talking to Acorn workers.

The transcript of several stings, however, indicate that Mr. O’Keefe clearly presented himself as a pimp and that Acorn workers in some offices told him how to hide prostitution activities from the authorities.”

Comment:  I don’t believe it for a moment and neither should you.  ACORN is well known for its thuggish Leftwing “community  organizing” paid by taxpayers…….certainly of recent years caught corrupting elections and intimidating voters ….besides the television work exposing its interest in pimping and such.  Obama, you might remember was its chief attorney early in the president’s community organizing career.

This is a black, leftwing gang of community intimidating.  It will change its name, receive federal and local funding via  its Democrat Party contacts and benefactors, and with its new name but with the  same thugs, will reappear as a cancer somewhere else within the community body doing its “organizing” work. 

Alcee Hastings of Obama Corruption

“Sometimes we assume that people are aware of how corrupt the Democratic Party is, but it isn’t necessarily so. I was surprised to learn that my well-informed wife didn’t know about Alcee Hastings, the paradigm of liberalism.

Hastings was once a federal judge, but he was impeached–it is hard to articulate what a difficult, cumbersome process that is–because he solicited bribes from criminal defendants. That is, he approached the criminals and told them that he would let them off if they paid him. That’s a little extreme, even for a Democrat. Hastings’ efforts to make himself rich in this criminal fashion came to light and he was investigated. He responded to the investigation by committing perjury.

As a result of his multiple crimes, Hastings was removed as a federal judge by the United States Senate, one of the few times in history that has happened. Here is the really astonishing thing: instead of going to jail, Alcee Hastings went to Congress! Democratic voters were not in the least concerned that he is a criminal of the most verminous sort. On the contrary, they elected him to represent them in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District! That, really, tells you all you need to know about the depravity to which the Democratic Party has sunk.

Now, Alcee Hastings, exposed as a criminal and a betrayer of his oath as a federal judge, is playing a key role in the Democrats’ effort to jam Obamacare down the throats of unwilling voters.”

The blog shows  Hastings explaining that the Democrats have no intention of following House rules; rather, they are just making it up as they go along.

After all if president Obama can make it up as he goes along,  why can’t his henchmen?

Forecast: Marxism Is Here to Stay!

Marxism once in the door, is Marxism here to stay. 

 What are the chances of  Obamacare dictatorship over the health industry be compromised by judicial review?  Zilch…Nada!   Noil!

For more than a quarter century Leftist  equalizers in Congress, led by chubby lion, Ted Kennedy, the hero of the progressive Senate, the drunk, the guy who was so beyond the touch of Massachusetts law he escaped all legal rebuke for  leaving a scene of an accident he caused which drowned  his female rider, began advancing an organized Leftist campaign to block anyone not a devoted Leftwinger  from becoming a federal or Supreme Court judge. 

The American Left has been attacking the National Constitution for a long time.  Have you forgotten?   The feminists, blacks, gays and other such “enlightened” have condemned the document as a construction of old, dead white men!  Have you forgotten?  

These Marxist oriented progressives and their sympathizers preferred a New Law in  the Land….a “Living” not a “Dead” white man’s document.  The “Living” Constitution would be interpreted as molding the new society according to the new Social Justice order of the times…meaning Marxist equality….Don’t you remember?    The old dead white man’s Constitution would be updated to fit the new Leftwing ideas of equality and victimhood.

No need to change the Federal Constitution via the process provided by the Constitution. Ignore the Constitution……change the bench sitters instead.   Have you forgotten?    Leftists only!

Check out decisions by the 9th District Court out West there in California.   Think the New York area Court would be any less loony?   What about those judges releasing Jihadist combatants?   “Progressive” judges dominate the American federal courts as much as “Progressives” have controlled Congress since the Vietnam War.

The days immediately before yesterday’s “Historic” vote on health care “Reform”, the CNN poll surveying public opinion did show 59% opposing the bill compared to 39% supporting it.   What hasn’t been advertised in the news, however,  is of the 59% opposing Obamacare, 13% did so because it wasn’t liberal enough. 

Americans have come to like robbing from those who pay their taxes……why shouldn’t they?  Nearly 45% of Americans pay no federal income tax whatever; a major lure why so many folks vote Democrat. 

Democrats have been bribing voters for years.  They call their largesse, democracy.   Often Republicans  sheepishly follow along.

How are those who do pay their taxes, going to find time to go to the streets to protest, riot, obstruct, when they have to go to work on Monday to pay their family expenses?

Marxist rioters and protesters never have to worry about that… They don’t generally believe in families.  Moreover, often they are organized world wide  and are paid to travel around causing trouble whereever conservatives meet.  

Others matriculate into  Black Studies, Women Studies, and/or Gay Studies programs where they get riled up or go to Macalaster College or Hopkins High School where they are let out of language classes to join up with the lefty   rioters of their choice.   

Somehow I cannot see my dentist or dermatologist joining Dennis Prager storming through Mormon temples sceaming obscenitites and disrupting services in the name of  “Repeal Obamacare”. 

That they don’t  is an important reason why I am a conservative.  I do think they are better,  more decent people…..certainly more civi.   They behave more adult, strive to raise children properly, much less narcissistic, and usually assume personal responsibility for their actions, have a good understanding of  right from  wrong….who are not drugged up or racist….expressions so distant from most who make the noise  screaming for entitlements……

In my life I have never met a conservative or a normal Democrat who speaks so successfully, lying all the while as Barack Hussein Obama.  With or without teleprompter. 

Forecast?  Marxism is here to stay.   Obama is just getting  started spending your money.  He will be reelected in 2012 by fair means or foul.

The Day After the Advent of Obama’s Marxism – Piranha Are in the Pond!

The American masses led by a strange alliance of the corporate and collegiate rich with those who perceive themselves as suffering…..single women, the angry lesbian and gay, the racist black and all of the others trained as victims….the entitled …..are rewarded by  Obama sleeze selling Obamacare.  The conman has introduced  Marxist dictatorship to care for American health.

Retros, those still believing in liberty, democracy, decency and the search for truth have awakened………but too late, dear fellow Americans……the piranha are in the pond. 

There are a lot of piranha……and in America they vote!

They have discovered the Marxist path to Marxist equality…..to vote themselves their pound of flesh off those who strive, who pay taxes; the people they have been taught to hate.   They have discovered Obama liberty.

There used to be the American dream.  A few of its believers stlll voice a liberty long  forgotten by those who teach, entertain and rule……..the liberty expressed in the old America framed by the nation’s Constitution.

The liberty uttered in the following dying breath:

Comment:  There is always hope.  That’s what the ancient Greeks discovered at the bottom of Pandora’s emptied box…..the only thing left for mankind when all the horrors of life were let loose to curse the human in  its path through life. 

How many electoral votes does the state of hope have?

But the American conservative feels entitled too……entitled to a belief in God and America……entitled to seek their way in life through its horrors and risks…….to raise a family despite the vultures awaiting near by.  He will return to work today with hope.  He will return home to his family and return to its needs.  He has no time to become a revolutionary.  He is civilized.  He is busy in his own duties and responsibilities.

Memories will grow dim.  The “Peoples” children  will go to school and disappear into the New Order.  Obama’s Marxist march will move on to its next triumph.  Hate is a great leader.

“Long live Comrade Barack!”…..the press will crow!  “Long live equality!”  the professors will teach!   “Free at last!”  the Modern American Woman will revel…….and the country will die. 

But will not rest in peace……despite government celebrations and pronouncements.
