Police ‘Confiscate’ Freedom of Speech Near Muslim Celebration

We Americans should be fully aware that a wave of Islam and its narrow and primitive standards for human existence is sweeping across the western world.

The wave is almost fully funded by the gasoline we use in our gas tanks…….and the fact that the Obama Leftwing eco fanatics of our country who fund him and his Democrat Party forbid by laws they create  securing this resource on our own land and near shore reserves to help restore our wealth.

This wave of religious primitivism and intolerance for individual liberties and personal rights will become every day a greater threat to everything Americans have cherished.

Please review this video of an incident which only recently occurred in Dearborn, Michigan where Americans were apprehended for passing out Christian literature outside the confines where  a community of Muslims gathered for religious celebration.

India, A Friend of Israel in the Shadows?

Those of us who are concerned for the safety of  Israel as an independent state should be releived to to know that there  is a nation  that also suffers from Muslim fanatacism and has suffered from it for a long, long, time….India.  I found the following article comforting.   In American journals little is written about this former British “Jewel in the Crown”, now the world’s most populous democracy…..other than it negotiated a treaty with the 43rd U.S. president so disdained by contemporary American Marxists.

The article was written by Paul Mirengoff at PowerLine.

“Yesterday, in a post about the “arm’s length disdain” with which President Obama treats the popular pro-American government in Colombia, I also wondered why Obama has been chilly towards India. “What portion of left-wing orthodoxy,” I wondered, “puts India in the dock?”

Reader Peter Rice, a retired US diplomat who was stationed in New Delhi in 1997-99, provides what looks like a persuasive answer:

Hindus run India (they are 80+ percent of the population) and they do not like (many hate) Muslims and have fought [several] wars against Pakistan and have a current low grade war on the Kashmir border.

India and Israel have informal non public defense connections to include support of the Israeli nuclear weapons armed submarine that operates in the Indian Ocean.

As practiced by Obama, the new left-wing orthodoxy seems quite unforgiving.”

The U. S. Moves to Next Round in the World Cup Despite Officiating

Soccer is boring, boring, boring.  It is no wonder why horns have to be blown and whistles shrilling.  The countless fans  who arrive stoned before the match even begins need the noise to refrain from passing out.

Beyond that, scoring in soccer is a rare occurence.   The major curse of the game is the fact that officiating is often the deciding factor regarding  who wins and sometimes the deciding factor isn’t an accident.

World figure skating has been the worst competitions  having to endure personal moods or international politics to concoct a champion.

Earlier today, the United States “soccer” team competing in the World Cup held this year in South Africa, faced elimination from further competition with only a few minutes left in the match.  The score was tied 0-0, a common result in international soccer competitons.   The United States team had to win to move up in the tournament.

And it indeed, had scored the lead goal earlier in the game…….But an official made an error of judgment and erroneously disqualified the score.  Read further from a writerm Tunku Varadarajan,  who knows infinitely more about world competitive soccer than this Dennis Prager fan.

The article was published at the Daily Beast.

“Team USA transcended a bad call to topple Algeria by a single goal. But Tunku Varadarajan says referees could be biased against Americans for not being a nation serious about soccer.

In the 91st minute of a pulsating game, the United States pulled back from the abyss of elimination, pirouetted on the edge of the blackest despair, and buried the ball in Algeria’s net, thereby turning what would have been a result of monumental injustice into one of shriek-aloud elation.

For the second consecutive game, the team was the victim of an atrocious refereeing decision. Against Slovenia, a perfectly good goal that would have won the match was disallowed by a mediocre autocrat from Mali. On Wednesday, a beautiful goal was ruled offside, a decision that numerous, infuriating replays showed was shockingly erroneous. Once was unlucky, twice looked like an evil jinx, a curse, an astrological conspiracy.”

McChrystal Must Resign from Obama’s Dysfunctional Washington

Eliot A. Cohen writes the following in today’s Wall Street Journal:

“Gen. Stanley McChrystal is a hero—a selfless, fearless and inspiring soldier. He is also something of a military genius. In Iraq, as commander of the Joint Special Operations Command from 2003-2008, he created an extraordinary military operation.

His command center—a vast open hall resembling the floor of a trading exchange—put long-haired civilian geeks next to wiry commandos, and together they uncovered, analyzed, pooled and acted on information that enabled soldiers to launch successful operations at a moment’s notice. They did so in ways that only a few years ago would have required weeks of preparation and rehearsal. He is one of the fathers of victory in Iraq, because his organization dismantled the leadership of al Qaeda there. Few Americans know, or will know, how well he has served this country and a shrewed humane commander, not merely a lethal one.”

I believe that  when truth will out,  president Obama  is really graduate student Obama, heading a crowd in dysfunctional turmoil while Marxists are at the American door, the country is faced with another Obama moment of incompetence.

General McChrystal must resign…PERIOD!  Offer his resignation with a smile and leave the graduate student to his single ability, being a blabbermouth con artist for leftwing insurgencies.

Mr. Eliot recommends he be fired.

Mr. Eliot reports:

“Gen. McChrystal’s just-published interview in Rolling Stone magazine is an appalling violation of norms of civilian-military relations. To read it is to wince, repeatedly—at the mockery of the vice president and the president’s special representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan, at the sniping directed toward the U.S. ambassador, at a member of his staff who, when asked whom the general was having dinner with in Paris said, “Some French minister. It’s so [expletive deleted] gay.” The quotes from Gen. McChrystal’s underlings bespeak a staff so clueless, swaggering and out of control that a wholesale purge looks to be indicated.

The larger predicament here is not the general’s fault. The Obama administration has made three large errors in the running of the Afghan war.

First, it assembled a dysfunctional team composed of Gen. McChrystal, Amb. Karl Eikenberry and Amb. Richard Holbrooke—three able men who as anyone who knew them would predict could not work effectively together. Mr. Eikenberry was a former commander in Afghanistan, junior in rank to and less successful than Gen. McChrystal, and had very differing view of the conflict. Mr. Holbrooke, a bureaucratic force of nature, inserted an additional layer of command into a fraught set of relationships. As a stream of leaks has revealed, the staffs loathe each other.”

(Richard Holbrooke has been around American television forever.  The news lefties have paraded him before the American public for his own soothing baritone….always looking  ‘diplomat-like’ , quieting all in his presence with soft words of no significance.  The man thoroughly enjoys his role of being soothing but empty while interfering.)

Mr. Eliot reports a second Obama error, and a third error.  “

The second error lies in the excruciating strategy review of last fall. Internal dissension spilled into public, making it clear that Vice President Joe Biden took a very different view of the war than the Defense Department and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The competitive leaking, sniping and bickering that pervaded the review worsened the climate of command and undoubtedly left Gen. McChrystal and his team unnerved.

The third, and fatal, error came in Mr. Obama’s West Point speech in December. He put his own ambivalence about the Afghan war on public view and then announced that he would begin a withdrawal in July 2011. This blunder demoralized his own side while elating the enemy and encouraging Afghan friends and neutrals to scramble to make their accommodations while they could.

But none of this excuses the substance or the tone of the words spoken by Gen. McChrystal and his staff. The poor judgment shown in political-military matters calls into question their broader competence to wage an acutely difficult war.

There is, however, a more fundamental issue: military deference to civilian authority. It is intolerable for officers to publicly criticize or mock senior political figures, including the vice president or the ambassador (who is, after all, the president’s personal representative to a foreign government). It is intolerable for them to publicly ridicule allies. And quite apart from his own indiscretions, it is the job of a commanding general to set a tone that makes such behavior unacceptable on the part of his subordinates.”

(The biggest error of all belongs to the American voters who elected this graduate student, completely inexperienced in and unaware  of  everything outside his world of  pampering, pompous campus pork pretending proficiency in law.)

In a democracy…..THE PEOPLE GET WHAT THEY DESERVE…..AND THEY GOT OBAMA!

When will the American public wake up and assume responsibility for improving the health of this once great Republic?
