MTV “Skins” in Danger of Being Canceled…….”CANCEL IT!”

CANCEL THE SHOW….PERIOD!   Standards will always be challenged BEYOND THE LIMIT sooner or later.  BEYOND THE LIMIT at  MTV occurred a long time ago, according to Dennis Prager.

There always will be a limit in life….always.   A civilized society, that is, a healthy and civilized society guides and guards its children and its teens.   American has not met this rule for a long time.   The vast numbers of unthinking, including president Barack Hussein Obama, who advocate  sex education from  kindergarden  up…..need to be forgiven or imprisoned for not knowing what they do.

University “Education” Departments and High School  Marxist “teachers’ should suffer the same fate  if they teach  the sins of a society before teaching  knowledge  about, and the struggles of,   that society.   The sooner this punishment be exacted, the sooner Marxism will disappear from the American horizon.

When should children first learn their parents aren’t perfect?   How much of their imperfections should be examined….and at what ages?     Should government be in the business of making certain whatever cuddly views the nation’s children usually have of their parents are balanced with details of their  sins and imperfections?

Marxist educators think so.  Marxist educators also believe, and in American schools practice, teaching  the ‘sins’ of America from kindergarten on up throughout life.

How else would it be possible for Americans to become so stupid as to abandon what Americans had created?

Electing Barack Hussein Obama is a result of this Marxist education……teaching ugliness, that is, the sins of the country to our children and youth before any knowledge of the  story of its peoples’ struggles and trials have been learned ,  is exactly what the Bill Ayers and his Marxist allies have been spreading for the last generation, teaching Wounded Knee and Ku Klux Klan  before the groundwork teaching of what being an American is, from where we developed our understandings, and  how we have overcome obstacles, to achieve  “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!

You may damn these Marxists if you wish……..but the American citizen is to blame.    Since the antiAmerican Cultural Revolution of 1967-1976, no one has dared to pay attention.    The Bill Ayers terrorist and druggies have been doing their revolutionary work……..creating the Leftwing Establishment which runs America today.

MTV and its “Skins” is only at the surface.

“Great civilizations are not murdered.  They commit suicide.!”  Arnold Toynbee.

MTV’s controversial drama “Skins” is losing advertisers faster than some of its characters lose their clothes.

As FOX411 reported, Taco Bell was the first sponsor to withdraw advertising from “Skins,” quickly followed by Wrigley, Subway, Foot Locker, L’Oreal and Shick.

General Motors and H&R Block both issued statements explaining that their ads were aired during the premiere by mistake and would have no further association with the show.

Lacking a stable of advertisers to sponsor the show, “Skins” could reportedly lose MTV up to $2 million per episode.

With the swift decampment of sponsors, FOX411 has learned that the show could be taken off the air—for good. “‘Skins’ is definitely in danger of being cancelled, if the ratings aren’t great,” an MTV insider tells FOX411. “And MTV is not going to risk losing advertisers over one show.”

Skins” lost about half its viewers for the show’s second episode, which aired Monday night. Only 1.6 million viewers tuned in, versus the 3.3 million who watched the premiere on January 17. (The premiere did benefit from the huge ratings of its ‘Jersey Shore’ lead in, which had almost nine million viewers—the biggest in the network’s history. The second episode of ‘Skins’ did not have such easy sledding, so some decrease in ratings was to be expected.)

Despite its advertiser and ratings woes, however, MTV insists the network is standing by the show. In a statement to FOX411, the network said: “Skins has earned the loyalty of fans across the globe for its thoughtful and honest portrayal of teen life today. An internationally acclaimed scripted drama, the show has been honored with a long list of prestigious awards.  MTV stands by the US adaptation of Skins and the vision of its creator Bryan Elsley.”

But the loss of viewers and advertisers has apparently ruffled some feathers over at MTV’s Times Square headquarters, according to a source. “The ‘Skins’ marketing people were running around like mad (on Tuesday),” a second MTV insider tells FOX411. “There was definitely some kind of ‘all-hands-on-deck’ situation going on.”

Last Monday’s broadcast of the second episode of “Skins” featured an anemic commercial line-up, with spots for Red Bull and Zeno Hot Spot, a pimple-prevention device hawked by Whitney Port, being the only non-program or film related advertising.

“Certainly, blue chip advertisers that have brands that appeal beyond the really young, cutting-edge target audience are going to shy away from advertising on ‘Skins’,” Charlie Menduni, media director of Mediassociates, tells FOX411. “But with the initial outcry against it as loud as it is, you’d be hard pressed to find any brand manager who would be willing to bring that (show) to their board.”

Calling “Skins” the “most dangerous program that has ever been foisted on your children,” The Parents Television Council has waged war on MTV and its sponsors for the show’s “foul language, illegal drug use, illegal activity as well as thoroughly pervasive sexual content.”

On January 20, the PTC has even called on called on lawmakers and feds to open an investigation regarding child pornography and exploitation on MTV’s “Skins.”

“Bryan Elsley was highly skeptical about translating this for the American audience,” the MTV insider told FOX411. “He was worried it would get this kind of reaction. It took a lot of wooing and hand-holding from MTV network execs to convince him that it would work in the U.S.”

“Will Christie Be Republican Pudgy President Valentine?”

…….and that is the title to this article from the Washington Examiner by Neomie Emery:

“Different men are made for different moments in life, and Chris Christie’s moment is here. Or, rather, it will be here a year from now, when he gives in to public demand and to destiny and decides to, yes, run for president.

He wants to run in 2016, when he will be seasoned, but if he is born to run (like somebody else from New Jersey), there are four reasons his moment is now: The nominee must be a new face, formed and shaped by the post-Lehman era; he must be someone who can unite the Tea Party and the GOP establishment; someone who can defuse the race bomb as much as is possible; and someone who can also emerge as the anti-Obama; a creature of deeds, not of appearance; somebody less talk than act.

People love who Obama is, what he looks and sounds like, but what he does — tripling the debt, and giving us Obamacare — leaves them unsettled. On the other hand, few want to look like Christie, but what he has done — cutting spending, and dissing the unions — looks to be irresistible.

As such, his theme song is already written: “My pudgy Valentine/ Sweet pudgy Valentine/ You make me smile with my heart. …”

Is his figure less than Greek? More like three Greeks put together, but this isn’t the point: Christie belongs to the age of Obama, and, with Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass., and Gov. Bob McDonnell, R-Va., is part of the first wave of resistance; the second wave being Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Gov. Nikki Haley, R-S.C., and the class that came in with 2010 midterms. Both waves are supplanting the 2008 retreads as the party’s advance guard, and soul.

Second, he is part of the group with ties to the Tea Party and the Republican Party’s governing structure, and can unite them, and hold them together. (He can also unite them to a number of Democrats. No ordinary conservative wins in his state.)

Third, he takes the edge off the race issue, as Christie looks “ethnic” (if nonspecific in nature) and even blue collar, while Obama exudes an aura of privilege.

A WASP from the South would mean trouble for the Republicans, and a WASP from the North might also have problems, but a non-WASP from the North is a whole other story. Christie looks, acts and sounds like every Reagan Democrat who ever drew breath or voted, and could pull them en masse into his party.

Especially if the job market stays weak.

Fourth, and perhaps best of the lot, is the long list of the things that will surely not happen if our supersized savoir takes off: the Washington Post will not swoon over his pectoral muscles (if it can find them). His wife will not go sleeveless.

Donatella Versace will not design a collection around him. Vogue editress Anna Wintour will not hold a fundraiser for him at her house in Manhattan, to which she will not invite Calvin Klein.

Nonetheless, Christie says he needs more experience, and so he will get it — a whole year and more until spring 2012, when at the last possible moment he accepts the inevitable and decides to give in to the draft. And after that comes the happy night in November 2012, when he passes 270, and voters from coast to coast break out in chorus:

“Don’t change your hair for me/ Not if you care for me/ Stay pudgy, Valentine! Stay!”

Examiner columnist Noemie Emery is contributing editor to the Weekly Standard and author of “Great Expectations: The Troubled Lives of Political Families.”

Comment:  He’ll  still be pudgy in 2012, at least I hope so.   He is the only antiObama on the political scene today……..except for perhaps  Representative Allen West from Florida.   If these two gentlemen remain aggressive and confident in mind and  speech tomorrow as they are today, America will be in for a good show.   Obama will have to visit all “57 states” all over again and again stuttering before teleprompter and audience alike.   Nearly all others on the scene seem like pleasant pets….pussy cats, actually.

National Debt Increased by $100,000,000 During Obamatalk!

and Obamatalk went on and on about investments and more spending!   Jeffrey H. Anderson wrote the following article found at Pajamas Media:

“At the moment that President Obama began speaking last night, I recorded the tally on the National Debt Clock. It was 14 trillion, 74 billion, 755 million dollars. (The thousands speed by too quickly to register.) The moment that the president ceased speaking, I checked again: 14 trillion, 74 billion, 853 million dollars. So during the president’s speech, the national debt rose by $98 million.

Yet President Obama offered no serious proposals for reducing spending or debt. To the contrary, he talked about new spending he’d like to see. He offered only the occasional and unserious rhetorical nod to fiscal prudence: Having raised non-defense domestic discretionary spending by 24 percent on his watch, and by 84 percent when including his “stimulus,” he proposed to freeze it there — at that new, much higher, rate. That’s not exactly how you make a dent in a $14 trillion shortfall.

Even the Washington Post editorial board (under the headline “A disappointing State of the Union address”) writes:

President Obama entered office promising to be a different kind of politician — one who would speak honestly with the American people about the hard choices they face and would help make those hard calls.  Tuesday night’s State of the Union Address would have been the moment to make good on that promise. He disappointed.

The Post continues, “Maybe some members of Congress will display the courage the president has lacked. Maybe Mr. Obama, in the budget he proposes next month, will grapple more realistically with the hard choices than he did Tuesday night. But even if he does, how can he expect public support if he hasn’t made the case?  From the man who promised to change Washington, it seemed all too drearily familiar.”

It’s drearily familiar, indeed. If there are two consistent themes of the Obama presidency, they are these:  His talk and his actions too often bear little resemblance to one another; and his enthusiasm for spending other people’s money continues unabated.

In fact, President Obama’s deficits have outpaced those of President Bush by more than $1 trillion a year — a truly staggering figure, given that President Bush was hardly a pinchpenny. Obama blames the economy, but his average deficit has outpaced the average deficit during the Great Depression by more than ten-to-one in inflation-adjusted dollars, and by more than three-to-one even as a percentage of the gross domestic product (GDP). In fact, in inflation-adjusted dollars (though not as a percentage of GDP), Obama’s deficits have even exceeded — doubled! — the highest deficit during World War II. Such seemingly impossible tallies require serious dedication to the spending arts.

Moreover, none of these deficit-spending figures take into account the colossal spending that would occur under ObamaCare, if it isn’t repealed. At a time when we are $14 trillion in debt, ObamaCare would raise taxes, raid from (already unsustainable) Medicare, and usher in $2 trillion in new spending in its real first decade (from 2014 to 2023) alone.

In contrast, in the Republican response, Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) offered a straightforward appraisal of where we’re at, and what we need to do about it.  And Ryan’s message didn’t stop at spending alone but also made the broader case for upholding our nation’s ideals. As Ryan succinctly put it, “We believe, as our Founders did, that the pursuit of happiness depends on individual liberty, and individual liberty requires limited government.”

As chairman of the House Budget Committee, Ryan will be the Republicans’ point man during the upcoming budget battles with President Obama. It will be refreshing to have microphones put in front of an articulate Republican who actually knows how to make the case for policies that promote fiscal responsibility and prosperity — which, as the Post notes, also involves making the case for change.

Ultimately, that change should include a constitutional limit on federal spending, in the form of a Limited Government Amendment. By providing a long-overdue check on Congress’s power to spend, while also permitting sufficient flexibility to satisfy what Hamilton called the full “extent and variety of national exigencies,” such an amendment would re-limit government, reestablish fiscal responsibility, and — over time — profoundly reduce federal spending as a percentage of GDP.”

“How Dumb Can Republicans Be?” Congress Looked Soviet at Last Night’s Obama Talk

“How dumb can Republicans be?” my son asked me after he had seen clips last evening’s  boring Obama speech, called the State of the Union address.

He was angry….”You’d think that everyone in the audience was a Democrat forever applauding this guy, no matter what he said.    Who was responsible for this staging?”    He already knew the answer that I knew….”some Democrat” in Obama’s political stream.

Obama and Kumbaya, kumbaya folks from the bombings and riots of the American Cultural Revolution of 1967 -1976……the sex-in-the-bushes, druggies, Black Panthers, drop outs of those days, the Bill Ayers insanities  who now run the American establishment……including those in the Obama administration……The hate America Americans.

“Why are Republicans so stupid?”

“Well, they are stupid and have been stupid for a long, long time!”  I thought but did not speak.   I was pressed.  And then I answered what I truly believe.

“Over all I think conservatives are better people.   Unlike Democrats most want to do the right thing rather than what is expedient for their ideology.   About half of the “Republicans” for a long time are Democrats who wanted to get into running government, but Democrats already occupied the established offices.   Generally Republicans are not ideologues.   They react rather than dictate…..prefer harmony, smoothing out the wrinkles in life, rather than stage revolutions to destroy and  created their Marxist dream.

Most conservative  folks  want to keep America beautiful, free and productive…..as it has been generally for most people since its birth.

“I’d bet”, I added…..that there weren’t any Republicans who saw the duplicitousness of the Democrat proposal that the Party’s  sprinkle Congressional membership throughout the Chamber which has engraved in the wall above where the president spoke, “IN GOD WE TRUST”………(I can’t forget my Dennis Prager.)

Yes, engraved above the speaker’s rostrum on the wall   are the words:

“IN GOD WE TRUST”  …….another part of Americana today’s Marxist Democrats forbid America to see or read.

I purposely did not watch the president’s performance last evening.   No doubt it would be boring.   He is a dishonest man, so no doubt he would be duplicitous….disingenuous…..”the most disingenuous guy ever”   Charles Krauthammer has rued  many times over.   But, last night when I saw video clippings of Obama’s  Hollywood performance and the perfomance of his Congressional audience,  I did chuckle to myself how much Obama looked like Joesf Stalin speaking to the Communist Party Assembly  of the good old USSR, whose length of applause was measured by the secret police looking for the first in the audience to weaken.   Congress did look like Stalin’s Communist sycophants, but I doubt the FBI or Obama’s new internal police force he prescribed for America during his 2008 campaigns, were taking clap count.

Republicans have not led America  in my lifetime.   They  came out of the woodwork where Goldwater dwelled in the  1970s.    They were dragged out of the Republican miasma of   headlessness and me-to socialist Democratism, by an old man who still loved America, could talk and romance beautifully about that America, had the gift of wisdom  and confidence from his learnings and life from his Christianity to share his learnings and teach  others about America.

Democrats considered him too stupid to run for political office, much less cccupy such an office.

If America will heal from its Marxist wounds inflicted  by Barack Hussein Obama and his associates,  it must rely on its citizens to do the work or convince others that their work is good for America.    Those who run America are still Democrats and have been bought and programmed to become Marxists.

Next year let’s encourage Congress to return to their  regular seatings to remind the country that we are not yet the Marxists running the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

“Private Citizens Fight Voter Fraud”………The Democrat Controlled State Won’t

Nearly all of voter fraud in American is conspired and performed by  Leftwing ideologues….and has been so  for decades.

In my state of Minnesota Al Franken was elected via fraudulent counting and miscounting.  In this state its Democrat Party will pass any measures dealing with licensing to control human behavior.  One needs an authentic identification card for nearly everything except voting.

Even signing up for a library card required the backing of ones driver’s license, that card most frequently used for ‘authentic identification.’

Not so for voting.

The Democrat Farmer-Labor Party  has run Minnesota for more than sixty years.   It used to be an honest broker in politics.   Not any more.  This state is no longer the state of “Minnesota nice”.   It has become the State of Minnesota Marxism…..the religion of Leftwing  America, the New “and better” America devoted to the extermination of private enterprise.

Today nearly all of the established agencies and institutions in America are Leftwing….many Marxist.   This following article, “Private Citizens Fight Voter Fraud”  is particularly important  because honesty in voter fraud is ignored by the Leftwingers in charge of State management.  The Democrat Party can depend upon benefits from voter fraud no matter in which state the crime occurs.

Voter crime is particularly virulent in black communities of the inner cities of the country during national and state wide  elections.   It is easly disguised in these  ONE PARTY ONLY political plantations.

J. Christian Adams wrote the following article at Pajamas Media:

This past weekend, citizens from across Texas held a summit in Houston to help protect the future integrity of the electoral process. Called “True the Vote,” this amalgam of tea party groups and interested citizens met to learn about how they can fight voter fraud when their governments won’t. True the Vote is going nationwide in March with a summit for the rest of the country. Citizens who care about honest elections can, at last, do something about it.

At PJM, I’ve covered the corrupt abdication of law enforcement obligations when it comes to fighting voter fraud. Deputy Assistant Attorney General Julie Fernandes instructed the Department of Justice Voting Section that federal laws requiring voter rolls to be free of ineligible voters won’t be enforced. Former Voting Section Chief Christopher Coates testified that Fernandes and other Obama appointees spiked at least eight investigations into states with voter roll problems.

The Obama DOJ hasn’t brought a single case to require a state to remove dead and ineligible felon voters from the rolls. Fernandes spiked these investigations because she is ideologically opposed to enforcing laws protecting election integrity — and she relishes the partisan benefits of inaction.

When governments fail to do their job, citizens must rush into the breach. Various federal laws provide citizens the right to act like a privatized attorney general. Section 8 of the Motor Voter law requires states to have only eligible and legal voters on the rolls. Citizens have the legal power to review, and even demand, voter registration data to detect fraud.

Yet almost 20 years after Motor Voter was enacted, only left-wing activist groups have utilized the provisions of the law. Neither political parties nor private citizens have used the law to fight voter fraud.

Enter True the Vote, formed in Houston, Texas, by citizen activists energized by the rise of the tea party movement.

Together, they sought a task where they could make a difference. Issue-driven battles in the 1990s saw Ross Perot’s forces assemble and then disperse when the issues like term limits or insider dealing withered. Instead, True the Vote adopted a process-driven agenda — secure the integrity of American elections and fight voter fraud.

It was a good choice. Although millions poured into operations like ACORN and others dedicated to high-volume ballot access regardless of eligibility, hardly anyone representing the silent millions of law-abiding Americans stood watch on Election Day. Never before had the voter fraudsters been challenged by a well-organized and brilliant foe.

Before the 2010 election, True the Vote reviewed thousands of pages of voter data in Houston. They found non-citizens registered to vote, citizens registered at vacant lots, forgeries in registrations, and multiple registrations of the same individuals. These violations of federal and Texas law were forwarded to the Department of Justice as well as Texas authorities.

Hopefully, both agencies will take advantage of the hard work of True the Vote and enforce the laws they are charged to enforce. Thus far, nothing has happened.
The lack of government action corroborates my testimony and the testimony of Christopher Coates. Perhaps Chairman Lamar Smith’s Judiciary Committee can add the absence of DOJ response to their oversight agenda.

At the True the Vote National Summit in March, these data mining and analysis methods will be shared with activists nationwide.

True the Vote is also revolutionizing poll monitoring on Election Day. While political parties have deployed poll watcher programs, few can match the zeal and scope of True the Vote. In Harris County alone, almost 800 True the Vote trained poll watchers were deployed across Houston.

Every election, the Department of Justice deploys poll observers all over the nation, usually between 500 and 1,000. True the Vote has copied the federal observer program in almost every respect — placing hundreds of highly trained eyes and ears inside the polls to carefully memorialize everything. These reports are then forwarded to law enforcement.

It is obvious they are successful when their efforts anger both Representative Sheila Jackson Lee and the New Black Panther Party. For years, polling places in many parts of the nation were free-for-alls, plagued by forced assistance, poll officials voting for voters, and precinct bosses telling people how to vote. Lawlessness reigned. True the Vote shatters their stranglehold on electoral corruption.

Couldn’t we just rely on government to police the polls? Hardly. As I’ve detailed at PJM, in places like Hale County, Alabama, certain DOJ Voting Section lawyers actually supported the bad behavior. They viewed effective minority turnout as more important than following the law. If hundreds of voters were told how to vote by assistors, it was but a small price to pay to reverse centuries of disenfranchisement.

These offending government officials are still in the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice.

The True the Vote National Summit is March 25th to 26th in Houston. Those seeking to learn about the laws and ideas available to fight voter fraud should attend. I will be speaking, and so will other experts, to describe the federal laws available for citizens to fight voter fraud, data mining methods to detect voter registration fraud, and Election-Day operations to deter and record electoral malfeasance.

Never before has a systematic counter-fraud operation been deployed so successfully. True the Vote wants to help establish similar operations across the country.

2012 is just around the corner. If you are one of those Americans who want to make a difference but don’t know how, we’ll see you in Houston.

Charles Krauthammer on Obama Speech: “One of His Weakest!”

Barack Hussein Obama reiterated his faith in spending, although he called in investing.  He plans to pay verbal homage ot deficits, but has big plans ahead…proving according to Krauthammer: “Demorcats remain the Party of Government”.

Is Barack Obama a Jim Jones and America the Marxist-Guyana Settlement?

With the assault on Congresswoman Gabriele Giffords an American with any memory should  reflect on the last Congressman victim of such an atrocity,  Leo Ryan.

Leo Ryan died at the place of the shooting.    The place of the shooting was Jonestown, a communiity of Marxist paradise on Earth in the jungle of northern South America.

One cannot understand the fullness of utopian Marxism without studying Jim Jones and Jonestown, the union of promised equality, escape from honesty, adulthood, replaced by denial of God, and the rise of commanded happiness, simplified life, romance,  and the dictatorship of the “good” for the human species…….the basic  ingredients creating the reality behind the dreams of  today’s  Marxist-Democrat Party led by Barack Hussein Obama.

Little in this world is inevitable except death…..a rather significant exception, don’t you agree?  I do not believe Barack Obama is a carbon copy of Jim Jones……..he’s merely  a copy……He has  arisen from a world of Marxist dreams.  So did Jim Jones.

We do not know Obama’s future.   We must compare these two idealists when both were young and  callow,  filled with the ideas  of power and Marxist dreams of equality and fairness for all mankind.

Barack Obama leads a country whose instruments of communication, entertainment, religion, and eduation are under his Marxist family wing.   Marxist Jim Jones led a cult of true believers living in an American city seeking identity and  a better life…..Mr. Jones promised change.   Mr. Jones produced change.  Mr. Obama promised change.  Mr. Obama is producing change on a national level enlarging the  State at the expense of the Citizen.

For Jim Jones followers initially change was good.  Life left the individual for the collective.   The collective  was to be led by “the Father”, gifted of speech, will, and a determination to achieve the goal, Marxist equality.

Americans have never been well educated to know the histories of  man’s political inventions.   More recent Americans know nearly nothing about their own national past……..They know less about the Jonestown Marxist Utopia  of a generation ago.   They know nearly  nothing about Barack Hussein Obama.

Yet, history has laid Marxism at the American door today with the presidency of  Barack Hussein Obama and the advent of  the new religion, atheism,  for the country taught by the American academy and sold by its entertainment and communications  industries.

Man has replaced God as America’s practiced religion……. ……   Man, not the classic ideals of  JudeoChristian teachings of dignity and democracy for mankind, but Man.      Marxist  Man today leads America.  Its  president is  Barack Obama.    He  believes in  equality….’sharing’ by government directive.   His adminstration is forcing equality within the restraints of the “good ole boys whiteman’s network”.

Mr. Obama is not honest about his goals and his methods.  As with any Marxist leader of the past, the goal is Marxism.  Even Vladimir Lenin while  dictating the creation of the  Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, introduced private ownership and enterprise when Marxist collectivism was failing and mass  starvation on the horizon.  The worker could keep the profit of his labor rather than the State.

This unMarxist economic move by Lenin was called NEP, the New Economic Policy.   His Marxist critics complained.

Lenin defended  NEP as “one step backward to two steps forward”.    The farmers could keep their profits, They and the new Marxist nation avoided starvation as production expanded, not by goverrnment directive, but from individual initiative.

A few years later by Marxist government directive and Marxist bureacratic obedience, 20,000,000  people were intentionally murdered to redirect those wayward steps to atheistic forced equality.

There can never be equality without a vast police system to enforce the equality of Marxist equality dictate.   Mr. Obama’s education at the Universities of Left Wing Education apparently never mentioned that.

The Jim Jones of November 18, 1978,  the day of Jonesville climax, the Day of Suicide of the Equal, was not the Jim Jones of a decade earlier, when he spoke Obamaspeech, certain that his view of  atheistic equality was paradise on earth.    He preached change…from the America of JudeoChristian values to the New World of Marxist equality…….a world  instructed as  one of peace and quiet, security and love….a woman’s dream…….a world of togetherness….a womans’ dream……..yet, all in a world of masculine power governing over the loss of individual identity in favor of  the collective……a world of escape from personal responsibility and adulthood…..the world of boredom from the destruction of the human spirit and its masculine creativity.

I do happen to believe that Jonesville  IS the inevitable future of any ‘successful’ Marxist community.

The Freedom of private enterprise, its risks and the democracies it creates and requires is in a battle against the Security  of Marxist State control which advances  freedom FROM adult responsibilities, risks, angst and worries, and raising families.

Today’s religious, economic and social battle is man’s FREEDOM Versus  woman’s  SECURITY………the ageless battle between the sexes.

Then, again, I might be wrong.   Read what you can about Barack Obama and Jim Jones, Barack’s Washington and Jim’s Jonestown.   Compare their Marxist dreams and evangelism……their speech and  promises, their ‘honesty and actions’.

The Fate of Danish Islamic and Leftwing Assault on Free Speech Is At Hand

“Lars Hedegaard is a Danish journalist and historian who is well-known to regular readers of this blog. He went on trial yesterday in Denmark for his “racist” statements about the high incidence of family rape among Muslims in Denmark. The Danish law under which he was charged makes it clear that the truth is no defense, just as was the case for Geert Wilders in the Netherlands and Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff in Austria.

We are now in the depths of the Winter of Hate-Speech Trials in Europe.

Below is Lars Hedegaard’s own translation of the statement he gave yesterday to the court in Frederiksberg.

Awaiting the verdict

Lars Hedegaard’s final words in the Court of Frederiksberg, January 24, 2011

Lars HedegaardMy counsel has instructed me that in cases brought under Article 266b, the only thing that determines whether one is convicted or not is a matter of the perceived insult whereas one is barred from proving the truth of the statement.

The article deals with public statements whereby a group of people are “threatened, insulted or degraded”. But as my lawyer has already noted, I have made no public statement.

When it comes to Article 266b, there is no equality before the law. I am daily insulted and degraded by something I read or hear and I am sure that most people have the same experience.

For example, I am not only insulted and degraded and threatened, but shaken to the core of my being when I hear a well known Danish imam state that, of course, sharia law — Muslim law — will be instituted as Denmark’s official legal regime when there are a sufficient number of Muslims. I strongly urge our country’s jurists to get acquainted with the implications of the sharia, not only for Muslims but equally for non-Muslims, who — if they are lucky — will be reduced to a life as subhuman outlaws. And if one cannot be bothered with tedious dissertations, one may take a look at the legal order pertaining in areas where the sharia holds sway either de jure or de facto. One will then encounter a legal order the like of which we have not known since the passing of the Law of Jutland in 1241 and probably not before.

But the imam wants this disorder introduced in the country where I was born. And I must admit that I am troubled. I am also troubled when said imam defends the killing of Muslims who have left Islam and when he confirms that women and men guilty of fornication must be pelt with stones until they are dead. He thinks that is God’s commandment, which he cannot ignore.

Should I go to the police and tell them how threatened, insulted and degraded I feel? I wouldn’t dream of it for I support free speech. And if free speech has any real meaning, it must also — and in particular — protect statements people do not want to hear. Regardless of how revolting such statements may be.

Besides it would be futile to report the imam and those similarly disposed to the police for the public prosecutor would never indict them. Otherwise it would have happened long ago.

As jurisprudence shows, not only in Denmark but in all European countries with similar insult articles in their penal code, these insult articles open the gates to inequality before the law. There are insulted who enjoy the tender graces of the public prosecutor, and there are the less favoured who must endure insults directed at them.

But perhaps this is to do with the notion that one must not insult minorities whereas minorities are free to insult majorities? If that is the explanation of why I am in court today, it is a peculiar one. In 2002, the imam I have already mentioned explained to his flock that all Muslims in the world — 1.6 billion or whatever the number is — constitute one people, one umma. The same thing is emphasised by the Islamic Conference Organisation, OIC, encompassing 57 member countries. In other words, the five million non-Muslim Danes are a microscopic minority but nevertheless a minority whose members stand to be punished if they make statements on cultural norms in the umma.

What does the public prosecutor hope to accomplish by my conviction? He may drag me in front of a court. He may portray me as a racist, a right-wing extremist and a non-human. He may do the same to hundreds and thousands of others who insist on their right of free speech to describe Islam and Muslim culture just like we would deal with any other phenomenon in a free society.

But what will he have gained? Does the public prosecutor believe that people will start talking about Islam and Muslim culture with greater respect and reverence? Perhaps in public because people fear fines and jail. But what will people say to each other when they think that the thought police are not listening?

And what does the public prosecutor imagine people will think of a religion, a political ideology and a culture that need the protection of legislators, police, the public prosecutor and the courts because they cannot defend themselves in a free and open debate?

In 1644, when the English parliament considered the institution of religious censorship, that Christian defender of free speech John Milton wrote: “There is yet behind of what I purpos’d to lay open, the incredible losse, and detriment that this plot of licencing puts us to, more then if som enemy at sea should stop up all our hav’ns and ports, and creeks, it hinders and retards the importation of our richest Marchandize, Truth.”

And further:

“There be who perpetually complain of schisms and sects, and make it such a calamity that any man dissents from their maxims. ‘Tis their own pride and ignorance which causes the disturbing, who neither will hear with meeknes, nor can convince, yet all must be suppresst which is not found in their Syntagma.”

Milton concluded with this exhortation:

“Give me the liberty to know, to utter, and to argue freely according to conscience, above all liberties.”

In conclusion permit me to mention the true victims in this case. The public prosecutor has not considered the 20,000 women in the Muslim world who every year fall victim to so-called honour killings, or the 50,000 Muslim girls in Germany who the federal police consider threatened with genital mutilation, nor the hundreds of thousands of little girls in Muslim majority societies who have been sold into marriage with much older men and who must therefore live a life of constant rape, while Islamic scholars preach that this is in complete accordance with religious orthodoxy.

I hope that the judge as opposed to the public prosecutor will consider the fate of these unfortunate human beings. Likewise I hope that the judge will realise the absurdity of prosecuting me for statements made within the confines of my own four walls. For ten months the prosecutor has been aware of the conditions under which I spoke. That has not affected him in the slightest. I hope it will affect the judge.”

Thomas Sowell: “New Heroes vs. the Old”……..

………….is the headline for the following article from Investor’s Business Daily:

“When I mention that my family used kerosene lamps when I was a small child in the South during the 1930s, that is usually taken as a sign of our poverty, though I never thought of us as poor at the time.

What is ironic is that kerosene lamps were a luxury of the rich in the 19th century, before John D. Rockefeller came along. At the high price of kerosene at that time, an ordinary working man could not afford to stay up at night, burning this expensive fuel for hours at a time.

Rockefeller did not begin his life as rich, by any means. He made a fortune by revolutionizing the petroleum industry. Although we still measure petroleum in barrels, it is actually shipped in railroad tank cars, in ocean-going tankers and in tanker trucks.

That is a legacy of John D. Rockefeller, who saw that shipping oil in barrels was not as economical as shipping whole railroad tank cars full of oil, eliminating all the labor that had to go into shipping the same amount of oil in numerous individual barrels.

That was just one of his cost-cutting innovations. If there was a better way to extract, process and ship petroleum products– or more products that could be made from petroleum– Rockefeller was on top of it.

Before he came along, gasoline was considered a useless by-product that petroleum refineries often simply dumped into the nearest river. But Rockefeller decided to use it as a fuel in the refining process, which made it valuable, even before automobiles came along.

Today, we tend to think of John D. Rockefeller as just one of those famous rich people. But Rockefeller didn’t just “happen to have money.” How he got rich is the real story– and it is a story whose implications reach far beyond that one particular individual.

Before Rockefeller’s innovations reduced the price of kerosene to a fraction of what it had once been, there wasn’t a lot for poor people to do when nightfall came, other than go to bed. But the advent of cheap kerosene added hours of light and activity to each day for people with low or moderate incomes.

It was much the same story with the advent of the automobile, which gave millions of people more range in space, as kerosene (and, later, electricity) gave them more range in terms of hours of daily activity.

Here again, automobiles and electric lights were truly luxuries of the rich when they began. Only after ways were developed to cut their costs drastically were such things brought within the reach of ordinary Americans.

Henry Ford’s mass production methods cut in half the cost of producing the famous Model T Ford in just five years. People who had once lived their entire lives within a narrow radius of a relatively few miles could now go see places they never knew about before. The automobile expanded their horizons.

People today who complain about the automobile’s pollution have no idea how much more pollution there was before the automobile came along. In New York City, for example, the 40,000 horses that were the backbone of the city’s transportation, before the automobile, produced 400 tons of manure per working day, along with 20,000 gallons of urine.

At one time, people like Rockefeller, Edison, Ford and the Wright brothers were regarded as heroes, for having opened vast new possibilities for other human beings. The fact that they got rich doing it was an incidental part of the story.

We still have people revolutionizing our lives. Just think of the computer and the pharmaceutical drugs that have not only lengthened our lives but made them more healthful, so that being 80 years old today is like being 60 years old in times past.

But today we seldom even know the names of those who have made these monumental contributions to human well-being. All we know is that some people have gotten “rich” and that this is to be regarded as some sort of grievance.

Many of the people we honor today are people who are skilled in the rhetoric of grievances and promises of new “rights” at someone else’s expense. But is that what is going to make a better America?”
