How honest and reliable is Snopes?
Well, that depends….Below is a note from someone who found a Snopes error….or lie.
Here is his complaint recently sent to me:
“…. In our Search for the truth……department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions. I went to Snopes to check this out and they said it was false and there were no such dockets so I ‘Googled’ the Supreme Court, typed in ‘Obama-Kagan,’ and guess what? Yep you got it. Snopes lied. Everyone of those dockets are there. So Here is what I wrote Snopes:
Referencing the article about Elena Kagan and Barak Obama dockets: The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false. I went directly to the Supreme Court’s website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference to.. I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking.

I received the above notice regarding Snopes from friend and fellow conservative, Brian Ross. I have not been able to verify this particular Snope ‘untruth’ or maybe ‘miswriting’.
Snopes does interpret truth quite often to the very left of center. I have given an example of this in the past regarding President Obama putting an end to National Prayer day. Snopes explanation was disingenuous, hiding the President’s actual involvement in putting an end to that tradition.
Snopes parses “Liberally” in its back up explanations.
It is very important that folks in our conservative movement do not celebrate the dishonesty, disingenuousness and duplicity and parsings which have become natural in the American Democrat-Marxist community led by Barack Hussein Obama.
Republicans, at least some of them, are at last discovering the American conservative movement. Representatives of this movement must rely on the classic virtues honored by the best of our human past. Strive for Honesty and forthrightness. America will be the better for it….and so will you.
To the traditional Marxist truth has only political value. It is used when useful to advance Marxism.
Remember, like Islam, Marxism is a religion and government wrapped into one. Its dream is achieving the authority necessary to force equality upon the people over whom it rules. It becomes an economic system as well controlling production and distribution…..to maintain ‘equality’.
