Loony Leftist Paul Krugman’s Headline in New York Times: “Nobody Understands Debt”

Only a Leftist could  utter or write a statement so stupid and clumsy as   “Nobody Understands Debt”, but Paul Krugman proved me wrong:

By       at the New York Times
Published: January 1, 2012

This member of the New York Times staff of leftward loonies, Paul Krugman, occupies a teaching position at Princeton University.   It is likely Mr. Krugman is not intentionally conveying a lie  here.   It is more likely Mr. Krugman, a religious devotee to American Marxism,   is also a devotee of  fantasy to support his writings, hence:  “Nobody Understands Debt”.

I, together with my son, own a small  landscape company here in the Twin Cities.   Until the housing crash which drove nearly 50% of the local landscape companies out of the market into failure, we  had a full time staff of seven and seven laborers hired during the working season…..which is rather short in the landscaping business here in the North.    We plow snow in the winter to help  keep us alive.

Over the past four years we have lost a quarter of a million dollars and have fallen into considerable debt.   Due to the economic downward spiral and the  uncertainty it causes for everyone not on government pensions, we have lost about half  of our regular business, but we are surviving, but deep in debt.

We still have five families depending on the success of this business for survival.

In the past either I, as its major owner, or the bank where I have carried my busness for 37 years would provide the necessary cash flow  needed  from time to time as always occurs for such a seasonal business as ours.   Loans were especially needed  for purchasing  more and more equipment  to provide better and better services.

Our profits are considerably down during Obama reign, the past  three and a half years.    One  cannot borrow money…..it no longer is available to small businesses.   One cannot hire,   for customers are wary of spending money and for some, landscaping ones grounds is a luxury item.

All of the families relying on this landscape company know full well what DEBT is.

More money is being spent than money is taken in.      It is a rather simply Law of Human Life.   Unfortunately the ‘initiated’, that is the Obamalings graduating from universities,  are ignorant of such a Law.   They study feminism and Gore.

In my family I and my two sons know exactly what DEBT means.   We run private businesses.

My daughter who lives well kept on Manhattan in New York City, and my ex-wife of 34 years, who never  worked for any place other than a government institution and is retired with a hefty government pension,  has never known what DEBT is since the first years of our marriage 50 years ago.   I took care of the ‘books’    Both  are Obamalings who think the male members  of the family are failures, uneducated, inexperienced with college knowledge and its  leftwing sensitivities.   We are the ’uninitiated’.

I was a similar ‘snot’ until I taught public high school in a district  of  mostly blue collar and service workers in Minneapolis among people who worked hard, were frugal, raised large families, went to Church, and lacked lefty pretenses.   Most voted Democrat in those days.   They were  terrific Americans,  commanded traditional Christian values.   Most had never  attended college.

My daughter teaches ballet in New York.   She is very good at it, has been a successful dancer and a skilled and attracting teacher of ballet.    That is the sum total of her education beyond learning some Italian.

Of course, I love this Obamaling dearly even though she refuses to talk to conservatives including me.   Conservatives  make her nervous.   The last time I visited her on her island of lefty isolates just like her,  I was 72 years old.   I spent over a week visiting and enjoying the city by myself.     We had a good time chatting in her apartment,  for Obama had not yet been delivered to America to save us from free enterprise.

My daughter governs conversational topics, else I cannot be invited to visit.    I forget the topic which led to the following remark she made about me, her Father….. one of the  most memorable  remarks of any conversation we had ever had together.

She offered sweetly:    “You know, Dad…..You could have really made something of yourself, if you had only  come to New York!”      It was so sweetly stated, it was as good as a kiss.

Yet, think of its message.   I was working full time with modest income in a career I loved  as she loved ballet,  designing and installing landscape grounds, artistically fulfilling, spiritually fulfilling work  in a company I owned along  side my son and working with honorable devoted colleagues and  outstanding young people and lived  in my modest  house surrounded by paradise.

Obamalings are indoor folk.

To these women of my life, an  ’uninitiated’  life working the soil in Minnesota, I am a foreigner.   Successful people are Progressives who live in New York and do progressive things.   My daughter and my ex are very pleased they ‘rank’  among the ‘initiated’  who mill around things progressive.   Neither know anything much beyond the romantic and dance  who insist my sons would be better people, ’progressive’ people if they wouldn’t hang around their Dad so much.

Although my ex accumulated fewer  than half of the 700 college  quarter credits as I  with my two bachelor degrees and graduate degree in Soviet Studies, and another masters study in Horticulture, I don’t think she ever took a science class, never studied a foreing language,  genetics, Marxism, Aztecs, public health, astronomy, ecology, geology or climatology….nothing but journalism and a graduate degree in HUMANITIES.    She was a well disciplined student devoted to doing well in class and enjoying its readings.   I think she read Tolstoi’s, ‘War and Peace’ four times, at least.  Andrei was her hero ever more with each reading.

Professionally, she became an editor and a very skilled one at that.     She worked for government…..and wrote speeches for Governors upon occasion.   She had obtained her social and professional objective……to join the ‘initiated’ of American culture…..those worthy of voting Progressive and living among Progressives doing progressive things.

In her retirement she volunteers regularly at the William Jefferson Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas.    There she treated my youngest son to hear a lecture  by an initiated, the  noted atheist and author on the subject, Richard Dawkins.   Unfortunately for her, this son is the sharpest one of our blood.    He was not persuaded by Professor Dawkin’s religion.

She can talk weather  with the uninitiated but chooses not to know any such people other than her sons.    Like so many women in past history, my daughter and ex  ”shun” the ‘uninitiated’.   Shunning  makes life more comfortable.

Neither  have  ever met a payroll…..never have had to worry much about how  the next month’s bills  might be paid.

Personally I exited  the ‘inititiated’   when early in my ownership of my landscape business, I discovered my  workers get paid before I do…….or one has no business to offer.    Sometimes, the owner doesn’t get paid at all no matter how hard he works.  One gets to understand  the condition of DEBT very quickly……..so quickly the ‘uninitiated’ are devoted to avoid it  whenever  they can.

CBS’s Obamagal, Lesley Stahl Exposes Her Obamalove in “Interview” with Republican Eric Cantor

Atractive lefty fixture at CBS Leslie Stahl opens her   ”60 Minutes” television interview with House Majority Leader, Republican Eric Cantor by attacking him for “perpetual gridlock” in Washington,  “a littany of standoffs including government shutdowns”, and according to Barack Hussein Obama is his greatest nemesis in Congress.

Thii, followed by an advertisement from private enterprise to keep lefty CBS in business, Obamagal Stahl announces “the people are fed up with Congress”"…..avoiding the fact the Senate controlled by  Democrat Harry Reid is controlled by the White House which is conrtrolled by Marxist Barack Hussein Obama who is determined to spend America into collapse.

Obamagal makes no  mention, not even the slightest suggestion that Demcorats with their control of the presidency and the Senate still control Washington.   When, however, the Marxist president spends more time campaigning and playing golf rather than providing leadership to solve America’s political problems, CBS and other mainstream media hypnotised by America’s glib but first half black president, play dumb.

Obama’s power in Washington is supreme relative to any persuasions Eric Cantor might be able to accomplish in the House.    This Barack Hussein Obama is the Nation’s most powerful DOCTOR NO!

What do you think is the reason for Obamagal Stahl’s refusal to admit that TRUTH?

Obama’s Marxism is their collective religion.    Click on to the Stahl video below:

Prager Discussion Group to Meet, Thursday, January 12.

from     Kathy Woolley  of the Minnesota Prager discussion group:

“Two-thousand eleven was another interesting year. Shockingly, not everything the politicians did in Washington expressed wisdom, clarity, or even intelligence. We would like to discuss what members think were President Obama’s worst blunders of the year.

Ignite your memory by reading Obama’s Top Boners of 2011 by John Ransom published in Townhall Finance on December 26. Then bring your own list…

But wait a minute, what about the Republicans in Washington? How did they do? For an example, was the two-month extension of the payroll tax a blunder or smart politics? Our goal is to take a fair and balanced look at the last political year and what this may tell us about 2012.

Start the New Year off right. Make the Minnesota Prager Discussion Group a priority for 2012.

See you on  Thursday, January 12.

Kathy Woolley

 On another note:

Don’t forget about our Prager Ultimately Happy Males & Females group which meets the third Thursday of each month. Not so political, this group continues discussions started by Dennis on three special hours of his program: Male/Female, Happiness, and Ultimate Issues.

The Supreme Insult: Romney Mirrored as a John Kerry is a Disgusting Lie!

CURL: Is Romney the next Kerry?

This  insulting  question was posed in an article at the Washington Times   by  a   Joseph Curl:

Well, is he?

Think about it: Mitt Romney and John F. Kerry are two Boston blue-blood multimillionaires, spending summers in their island estates and winters in their mountain mansions; both are recidivist flip-floppers with long records of often indefensible 180s; and each was going up against a supremely unpopular — the catch word is “beatable” — president.

Both are stiff, highly programmed and have problems connecting with voters.

Both failed to energize the electorate during the run-up to caucuses and primaries (Mr. Kerry ran behind Howard Dean for months, and Mr. Romney has trailed just about everyone, including a guy pitching something called the “9-9-9 plan”). And both were “next in line.”

Sure, there are dozens of differences, but there are also a slew of similarities stretching back to their youths. Both were prep school prodigies then — Mr. Kerry was Yale, Mr. Romney, Harvard. Both suffered embarrassing political drubbings early in their careers, with Mr. Romney, flopping from independent to Republican and running hard away from President Reagan in his loss to Ted Kennedy, and Mr. Kerry, a carpetbagger, getting his hat handed to him by a guy named Paul W. Cronin.

Both then took the state route to power, Mr. Kerry running for lieutenant governor, Mr. Romney, two decades years later, for governor (and this time it was “Willard” who had the residency issues). Both ran as political outsiders, a proven path to victory, and a strategy each would employ in their presidential campaigns. (Incidentally, Mr. Kerry’s boss was another giant Democratic loser, Michael Dukakis.)

But unlike Mr. Kerry, who had only ceremonial duties, Mr. Romney ran the state. There, he raised gas taxes, but he also cut spending by $1.6 billion. Mr. Kerry worked on “acid rain.” (Another difference, just FYI: Mr. Romney earned his millions; Mr. Kerry married a ketchup heiress.)

For his part, Mr. Romney is well aware of the coming comparisons. Just this month, while handing out sub sandwiches aboard his campaign press bus in New Hampshire, he joked:

“Roast beef. Any roast beefs? Going once. Veggie. There we go. Ham. Ham?

“What are you guys eating back here? What do you guys want? Filet mignon with some brie, is that it back here? What’s going on. Some arugula? That’s the John Kerry bus back there, I’m sorry.”

But there are spectacular differences, too, between the two Brahmin blue-bloods. First and foremost, Mr. Kerry picked Bob Shrum as his campaign manager. The former aide for Edmund Muskie and George McGovern sports a disastrous record: He handled Dick Gephardt’s losing 1988 presidential campaign, then worked for Bob Kerrey, who lost the nomination to Bill Clinton. Need we mention his work for Al Gore? ‘Nuff said. (Although he did work for Mr. Kennedy in his 1994 victory over Mr. Romney.)

Mr. Romney, on the other hand, has surrounded himself with a top-notch team of battle-tested political veterans. Behind the scenes is Matt Rhoades, former communications director for the Massachusetts governor’s first presidential run in 2008 who also served as research director for George W. Bush’s re-election campaign in 2004.

Even further behind the scenes is Eric Fehrnstrom, the mastermind behind Scott P. Brown’s 2010 ascension to the Senate seat Mr. Kennedy held for nearly 47 years. Sure, Mr. Brown will lose in a landslide in 2012, but still, that’s pretty amazing to win that seat. PR vet Gail Gitcho runs the communication shop — an A-team pro. Plus, many members of the 2008 squad are back, and it’s already clear they aren’t making the mistakes they made last time.

More different, though, are the incumbents. Mr. Bush was despised by the mainstream media, of course, but Americans weren’t convinced. They looked at the world, fraught with problems, and in Mr. Kerry, they just didn’t see a man able to handle them.”

Comment:   This Mr. Curl must have graduated college last year.   He reports  THE BEST of John Kerry in this silly article.

That Mr. John F. Kerry is a  characterless character, a shadow of a decent human being, that he is a cobra hiding under a phony mop and  within an empty suit is totally missing from his piece.

Mr. Curl fails to mention the core of  this JFK and how he  was inttoduced to the leftwing American political arena.

He designed himself as a hero and DISGRACED nearly every American who ever served to defend his country.   His leftwing  desire for blue blood life developed a true  traitor to his country;  a man who formed  his fame  from lies pretending to be a ‘wounded’ warrior during the Vietnam war and the coincidence  his name’s initials are JFK.

He was paraded from coast to coast by turncoat media to advertise his witness  that American troops were raping, pillaging and burning innocents  for purpose and pleasure of spreading American greed.

Along with his charade he collected a gang of “Veterans Against the War” to be used as television props and bear witness to his lies during Kerry’s video performances.      When it turned out that many, perhaps most of his ‘heroes’ of the battlefront never made it out of the country.   The press passed on this information in unison.

Mr. Kerry claimed he was wounded in ‘Nam.   He bought  cameras  to  picture himself dodging bullets ‘at the front’ with sounds to prove his manliness.    He twice  received  ’honors’ for wounds he claimed hurt his buttox, but when questioned about the integrity of the entire plot, he refused to display xrays of his  soft posterior.

There are likely  more dispicable men than John Kerry  who have wormed their way into high public office through such  muck.

Although I once was an American history teacher, I cannot name any just now.     John Kerry comes immediately to mind when ‘sleaze’ is mentioned…..he is hard to beat!

John F. Kerry was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1984 to ‘represent’ the state of Massachusetts.    Twenty years later, this facade of an American ran as a Democrat to become the 44th president of the United States.

Instead, Barack Hussein Obama was elected America’s 44th president in 2008.

Republicans to Campaign against Marxist Obama with the Marxist’s Own Words

GOP’  ELECTION BATTLE PLAN:   Use Obama’s own words against him

by   Peter Wallsten   at the Washington Post

“With Republican voters in Iowa set to finally begin picking a nominee to challenge President Obama, GOP officials in Washington are quietly and methodically finishing what operatives are calling “the book” — 500 pages of Obama quotes and video links that will form the backbone of the party’s attack strategy against the president leading up to Election Day 2012.

The document, portions of which were reviewed by The Washington Post, lays out how GOP officials plan to use Obama’s words and voice as they build an argument for his defeat: that he made specific promises and entered office with lofty expectations and has failed to deliver on both.

Republican officials say they will leverage the party’s newly catalogued video library containing every publicly available utterance from Obama since his 2008 campaign. Television and Internet ads will juxtapose specific Obama promises of job gains, homeowner assistance, help for people in poverty, lower health insurance premiums and stricter White House ethics standards against government data and news clippings that paint a different reality.

The decision by GOP officials to finalize a strategy at this stage underscores the view, in both parties, that the general-election campaign has begun — even if an official Republican nominee has not been selected.

The new GOP playbook is designed to take one of Obama’s great assets — the power of his oratory — and turn it into a liability. It details hundreds of potential targets, partially a result of a president who Republican strategists say is unusually prone to making detailed promises.

A 2009 Obama statement that his stimulus bill would lift 2 million Americans out of poverty, for example, is paired against census data showing that more than 6 million Americans have fallen into poverty since he took office. A pledge that an administration housing plan would “help between 7 and 9 million families restructure or refinance their mortgages” is paired against news reports showing the government spent far less than promised and aided fewer than 2 million.

And his 2008 Democratic nomination acceptance speech vow that a green jobs initiative would create 5 million jobs is matched up against news reports from this year depicting lackluster results and headlines about Solyndra, the failed maker of solar panels that received hundreds of millions in federal loan guarantees.

One Obama quote will be featured prominently: In 2009 he said on NBC’s “Today” show that if he could not fix the economy in three years, “then there’s going to be a one-term proposition.”

“That’s a clip the American people will hear and see over and over and over again throughout the next year,” said Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus. “The nice thing about Barack Obama is that he’s given us plenty of material. The one thing he loves to do is give speeches.”

A similar in-his-own-words strategy has already been adopted by Obama’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee designed to portray GOP front-runner Mitt Romney as a flip-flopper.”
