It is a Great time to be a Conservative! Good People are coming out of the American Woodwork

Introducing the  Governor of Maine,  Paul LePage!

Wow! How about this? A breath of fresh air!

Meet Maine ‘s New Governor — In case you haven’t heard about this guy before, his name will stick in your mind!

The new Maine Governor, Paul LePage is making New Jersey ‘s Chris Christie look like an enabler. He isn’t afraid to say what he thinks. Judging by the comments, every time he opens his mouth, his popularity goes up.

He brought down the house at his inauguration when he shook his fist toward the media box and said, “You’re on notice! I’ve inherited a financially troubled State to run. Observe…cover what we do…but don’t whine if I don’t waste time responding to your every whim just for your amusement.”

During his campaign for Governor, he was talking to commercial fishermen who are struggling because of federal fisheries rules. They complained that 0bama brought his family to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for a long Labor Day holiday and found time to meet with union leaders, but wouldn’t talk to the fishermen. LePage replied, “I’d tell him to go to hell and get out of my State.” The Lame Stream Media crucified LePage, but he jumped 6 points in the pre-election poll.

The Martin Luther King incident was a political sandbag, which brought him National exposure. The ‘lame stream’ media crucified him, but word on the street is very positive. The NAACP specifically asked LePage to spend MLK Day visiting black inmates at the Maine State Prison. He told them that he would meet with ALL inmates, regardless of race, if he were to visit the prison. The NAACP balked and then put out a news release claiming falsely that he refused to participate in any MLK events. He read it in the paper for the 1st time the next morning while being driven to an event and went ballistic because none of the reporters had called him for comment before running the NAACP release.

He arrived at that event & said in front of a TV camera, “If they want to play the race card on me they can kiss my ass”, and he reminded them that he has an adopted black son from Jamaica and that he attended the local MLK Breakfast every year that he was mayor of Waterville. (He started his morning there on MLK Day.)

He then stated that there’s a right way and a wrong way to meet with the Governor, and he put all special interests on notice that press releases, media leaks, and all demonstrations would prove to be the wrong way. He said any other group, which acted like the NAACP could expect to be at the bottom of the Governor’s priority list!

He then did the following, and judging from local radio talk show callers, his popularity increased even more: The State employees union complained because he waited until 3 P.M. before closing State offices and facilities and sending non-emergency personnel home during the last blizzard. The prior Governor would often close offices for the day with just a forecast before the first flakes. (Each time the State closes for snow, it costs the taxpayers about $1 million in wages for no work in return.)

LePage was CEO of the Marden’s chain of discount family bargain retail stores before election as governor. He noted that State employees getting off work early could still find lots of retail stores open to shop. So, he put the State employees on notice by announcing: “If Marden’s is open, Maine is open!”

He told State employees: “We live in Maine in the winter, for heaven’s sake, and should know how to drive in it. Otherwise, apply for a State job in Florida!”

Governor LePage symbolizes what America needs; Refreshing politicians who aren’t self-serving and who exhibit common sense.”

Comment:   The above common sense piece was sent by Brian Ross.   I do not know its origin, but I do know its messenger, Mr. Ross.

White House criticizes Italian captain comparison

By The Associated Press

“The White House is criticizing comments by the Republican National Committee chairman comparing President Barack Obama to the Italian cruise ship captain who allegedly abandoned his sinking ship.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Obama was “our own little Captain Schettino.” Priebus accused Obama of abandoning ship in the U.S. and spending more time on his re-election campaign.

Former RNC Chairman Michael Steele told MSNBC the analogy was “unfortunate.”

In response, White House press secretary Jay Carney said: “If you are so desperate for attention that you make an analogy that Michael Steele deems inappropriate, you know you’ve probably gone too far.”

Sixteen people remain unaccounted for and are presumed dead in the shipwreck of the Costa Concordia.”

Comment:   Sorry, White House and Mike Steele……this  citizen  accepts the comparison of Barack Hussein Obama with the Italian Captain who abandoned his ship a PERFECT COMPARISON.   It was  brilliant!

Isn’t that what Barack Hussein does during critical Washington moments which beg  leadership to work out solutions when he runs off out of town to campaign, play golf or play tootsie in the beach sand instead?

Barack abandons ship leaving decisions to those left on board in Congress!    He abandons ship in Iraq allowing our Allies there to fend for themselves against the lunatics in Iran.

Why Does America’s No. 1 Marxist, Billionaire George Soros, Smear Mitt Romney?

George Soros “EQUATES” Mitt with Barack!    (Well,  they both seem to be  fathers of  apparently fine families, I’ll grant.)

Are TeaParty folks the only people who don’t know that Mitt Romney is the candidate America’s Marxists fear most?

George Soros, the Marxist who has been most reponsible for financing the Marxifying of America,  is usually a cobra which never comes out of its dingy  lair to face the bright sunlight of truth and trust.    How  could anyone aware of Americana in our year 2012, explain why this serpent is smearing Mitt Romney with the insult likening him to Barack Hussein Obama except for one and only one reason.

Despite how proud I am of the American Tea Party Movement, I think this is the only political group that thinks Mitt Romney cannot beat Barack Hussein Obama this coming November.

Newt Gingrich has many favorable qualities.    He even may out-bastard America’s talented bastard in the White House, but he WILL NOT win over  many independent folks, especially those interested in healing America’s wounds.   MOST Americans are looking someone to restore solidarity to our national personality and integrity……and polls do suggest that middle America prefers a conservative to cure our economic woes, and probably our cultural ones as well.

Despite the rancor of the Republican primary to this point,  Mitt Romney has a past and a family that will most positively resonate with independent American voters to feel good about voting for Romney without ANY reservations whatsoever.    Mr. Obama is leader of America’s Marxist enemies…..

The battle in America is for our future…..Will Americans be deprived of our  human adulthood by becoming children obedient to the Government Left?    Will we be bribed by the carrot of Obamadeceit well enunciating class and sex warfare to divide and conquer?…..and in the meantime debauch the American currency to destroy further the national economy by adding debt to bribe for more votes, present and future?

Newt cannot offer such a powerful profile to the American voter.   Like the president, Gingrich has never governed.  Unlike the president, Newt hasn’t governed even his household well.   He not an easy sell to America’s independent voter  as a  representative of conservative America’s ideal.     As a Marxist conspirator  and an  AntiAmerican  , George Soros knows this truth in its fullest meaning.

The Petty Barach Hussein

Mr. and Mrs. Cranky Pants

“Michelle Malkin’s entertaing column “Mr. and Mrs. Cranky Pants” takes off on Obama’s close encounter with Governor Brewer last week. In the column Michelle explores the pettiness of the president and Lady O. She writes that “Chief Touchy-Touchy seems to be personally consumed by our critiques. Yes, mine included.” Here is the personal note that adds a poignant touch to the column:

You know those “petty grievances” of “Washington politics” that Obama has long condemned? Now it can be told: He knows whereof he squawks.

As New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor’s new book, “The Obamas,” reveals, the president and his inner circle spent even more time carping about conservative influence on public opinion. “He wanted the media to be more of a referee; to put unfair Republican charges to rest,” Kantor discovered. “He could brush off the wildest, most baseless attacks themselves, he told (senior adviser and Chicago pal) Valerie Jarrett, along with (campaign finance bundler and treasurer) Marty Nesbitt and (bundler and finance mogul) John Rogers, at lunch in the little dining room next to the Oval Office.”

But what “galled him,” the book observed, “was when they gained mainstream credibility despite distortions of truth.”

Kantor then dutifully served as a pro-Obama referee:

“Rogers had just noticed a new book by the conservative columnist Michelle Malkin called ‘Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks and Cronies.’ Among many other allegations, Malkin wrote that Michelle Obama — the president’s ‘bitter half’ — was secretly running the country in Lady Macbeth-like fashion. Malkin even took a hatchet to long-dead Fraser Robinson (Mrs. Obama’s father), arguing with no evidence that his job at a water plant made him part of the ‘Chicago political corruptocracy.’ The book debuted at number one on The New York Times nonfiction bestseller list and stayed there for weeks.”

The facts? It was a former alderman in Chicago, Leon Depres, who provided evidence that Robinson’s job in the city water department was a reward for loyalty to the Daley political faction.

It was Washington Post writer Liza Mundy who reported that the department was “a renowned repository of patronage jobs.”

The pettiness of the president is certainly not his greatest flaw, though I believe it is related to other unattractive qualities of Obama about which Jonathan Last has written with great perception.”

A Mormon’s Worry on Same-Sex Marriage, Family, Abortion, And The Secular Church

‘Elder Neal A Maxwell On Same-Sex Marriage, Family, Abortion And The Secular Church’

presented at Brigham Young  University, October 1978

Comment:  The most beautiful, but, unfortunately  accurate  speech I have ever heard regarding the American moral decline  caused by the rise of the Marxist  church of irreligion over the past fifty years is from a Mormon, Neal A. Maxwell.

It is my hope, being a JudeoChristian conservative myself, that Mormon Mitt Romney is as concerned about these  same threats to American culture  as Elder Maxwell identified them  over 33 years ago so prophetically.    By  Neal Maxwell’s speech  I am certain Mitt Romney is and will carry his concerns to the White House as a champion of America’s JudeoChristian values.

I have become a Mitt Romney fan.    His life,  family, and religion  have cemented my belief. and confidence in him.    I will be a  very, very proud  American to see Mitt Romney inaugurated the Nation’s 45th   president on  January 20, 2013.   He will need your support.

Over 30 years ago  Mormon Elder, Neal A. Maxwell  spoke  very clearly about the left’s new religion, irreligion, and its assault on traditional America.     Every American should have heard his speech about the  woes he forecasted.    We can hear it  now!

The Battle with Newt is helping Romney become a Stronger Candidate against Obama

Mitt Romney mocks Newt Gingrich

calling him ‘Goldilocks’ as former Speaker

struggles in polls after Florida debate

By Toby Harnden and Inderdeep Bains          at Mail Online:

“Mitt Romney delivered a new blow against Newt Gingrich in an event in Orlando, mocking him over his complaints about this week’s debates.

‘I had fun last night, I gotta tell you,’ Romney said. ‘Now Speaker Gingrich said after the debate before last night that the crowd wasn’t allowed to cheer so he couldn’t do so well because the crowd was too quiet.’

‘Then last night he said the crowd was too loud, he couldn’t deal with it. It’s like Goldilocks, you know – the porridge is too hot, the porridge is too cold.

Think About it……Why are so many idiots like Thomas Friedman Leftwing?

by Scott Johnson in Liberals      at   PowerLine:

Thomas Friedman, you pitiful fool, cont’d

Mark Hemingway draws attention to Thomas Friedman’s latest candidate for inclusion in our “Thomas Friedman, you pitiful fool” series. Let me turn the floor over to Hemingway:

Thomas Friedman, apparently trying to top his many previous attempts to convincingly demonstrate coherence is just beyond his grasp, opens his column today thusly[.]

Hemingway quotes Friedman:

The Associated Press reported last week that Fidel Castro, the former president of Cuba, wrote an opinion piece on a Cuban Web site, following a Republican Party presidential candidates’ debate in Florida, in which he argued that the “selection of a Republican candidate for the presidency of this globalized and expansive empire is — and I mean this seriously — the greatest competition of idiocy and ignorance that has ever been.

When Marxists are complaining that your party’s candidates are disconnected from today’s global realities, it’s generally not a good sign.

Hemingway comments:

Alas, Friedman has a special talent for complaining about a “competition of idiocy and ignorance” in such a way that it appears he’s the one winning the race. I’d could say more, but moments like this are Mark Steyn’s raison d’être[.]

Here Hemingway turns the floor over to Mark Steyn:

Aside from the minor detail that Marxists have been complaining about the disconnect between pro-market political parties and “global reality” since the original Marxist sat in the Reading Room of the British Library riffing on the internal contradictions of capitalism, I was struck by Mr Friedman’s sparkling way with words. I’m not a credentialed Professor of Prose Style at Columbia School of Journalism or anything, but, for the “it’s generally not a good sign”/”you know you’ve got a problem” cliche to work, doesn’t the bit before it have to be something unexpected or unwanted? “When Fidel Castro’s hailing the GOP platform as just the ticket, it’s generally not a good sign.” That sort of thing.

Instead, Friedman goes on to peddle his usual globalist soft-core erotica, none of which Castro would support and none of which his enslaved people have any access to.

Steyn concludes with an exercise in Friedmanesque logic: “Oh, well. When right-wing loons are complaining that your opening paragraph is entirely disconnected from the rest of the column, presumably Thomas L Friedman takes that as a good sign.”
