Dems and Their Marxist Ilk Try Last Minute Resurrection of Union Thuggery on Wisconsin Recall Eelection Eve

Democrats Go Over the Top With Last-Minute Walker Smear

by John Hinderaker    at   PowerLine

“Unbelievable. The Democrats are looking down the barrel of a humiliating defeat in Wisconsin’s recall election on Tuesday, so today they played their last card: they started a rumor that Scott Walker fathered an illegitimate child 24 years ago. The “scoop” comes from something called the Wisconsin Citizens Media Co-op. The “Co-op” attributes the story to a woman named Bernadette Gillick, who teaches physical therapy at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Gillick claims to have known Walker’s girlfriend when they were students at Marquette. The “Co-op” says it has “not been able to independently verify Bernadette’s account.” No surprise there.

Will the Democrats’ last-minute smear have any impact? It is hard to say; recall how in 2000, they sat on the fact that George W. Bush had gotten a DWI in Maine many years earlier until a couple of days before the election, and it apparently did have an effect, turning what seemed to be a safe race for Bush into an epic nail-biter. At InTrade, for what it’s worth, Walker is now listed as a 92% favorite, down from 96% yesterday.

UPDATE: A columnist for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel looked into the Democrats’ rumor. His findings:

(1) I tracked down and talked to Dr. Gillick’s freshman-year roommate at MU yesterday, and she adamantly denies that Walker is the father of her child. Yes, she got pregnant as a first-year student, but she believes Dr. Gillick is mixing up stories; and (2) I Can Read CCAP has taken a family court suit involving Scott Alan Walker and mixed it up with the governor, Scott Kevin Walker.

These people are absolutely shameless.

FURTHER UPDATE: Walker is back up to 95% on InTrade.”

Comment:   I believe president Obama is shameless posturing his arrogance, his narcissism, yet profoundly uneducated about his country and its struggles, the man educated in religion by openly racist bigot, Jeremiah Wright.

Mr. Obama is the most divisive, duplicitous, devious, and dishonest president on record.   As, he admits, he ‘leads from behind’.   He is the leader of his product, its salesman, its form, what it tolerates and practices.   The American Left, as any Marxist gathering insists God does not exist.   That being the case, in their view, Man must replace God in determining what is to be thought and achieved,  what is advantageous to strive for, and what must be censored and eliminated from the human mind.

The Democrat Party, vintabe 2012, has elevated misconduct to an art form.    After all, they claim there is nothing evil in the world but thinking and voting conservatives.

OBAMA’S FAILURE TO SECURE AMERICAN BORDERS

THE OBAMA RECORD OF PROTECTING AMERICA’S BORDERS

From the L. A. Times1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal aliens working without a green card.2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most-wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in L. A. Are Spanish speaking.

10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 4.9 million speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County .)

(All 10 of the above statements are from the Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ‘ annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue!

Peggy Noonan: Obama Small and Nasty…..gives Romney a Good Chance to Win

The Long Race Has Begun

Will Romney do what it takes to capitalize on Obama’s weak start?

by Peggy Noonan     at the Wall Street Journal:

”And so it begins. We have a Republican nominee in Mitt Romney and a Democratic nominee in Barack Obama.

It is a marathon, not a sprint, but the pace is quickening. In five months we will have chosen a new president or doubled down on the current one.

Superficially both men have some things in common. Starting from the outside, they are both handsome, tall and fit. They care how they look, and how they look has had something to do with how well they’ve done. Both are academically accomplished, with three Harvard degrees between them. Each has spent much of his adult life a step apart from America’s big, messy, varied center, one as a political star and the other a star of business.

Neither has ever been a loser, which is unfortunate: Losertude is a great teacher, an orienter in life; it tells you not everything you touch will turn out well. This is important information for a president. Both are highly verbal in the sense of being—well, verbal, of speaking words with great fluidity. When you ask them a question, a stream of words flows. In a way they remind me of what a court reporter once said about the testimony of William F. Buckley: “High syllabic content!”

They are different people with different personalities, temperaments and characters. The most consequential difference for the election’s purposes is that one has fully absorbed the general assumptions, attitudes and sympathies of the political left, and the other the general attitudes, assumptions and sympathies of the political right. That’s what should—should—make the next five months interesting, and the outcome important.

Some facts right now:

Republicans are starting to think they can win, and Democrats are starting to think they could lose. This didn’t use to be true.

There is much talk of the president’s brilliantly targeted high-tech campaign. By November we will know how much difference a brilliantly targeted, high-tech campaign makes. Is it a revolution in political outreach, or a geeky mirage?

Neither candidate has struck on a theme, though both seem to think they have. At the moment both candidates are generally understood as biographies: “I’m the successful businessman,” “I’m the breakthrough president.” This accounts for a certain frustration among voters: “I don’t want a biography, I want a plan.”

Both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama have risen to the top of the American political system in an intensely political era. And yet neither loves politics or appears to have a particularly oversized gift for it. This is a central and amazing fact of the national election.

Mr. Obama has become actively bad at politics. Here is an example of how bad. Anyone good at politics does not pick a fight with the Catholic Church during a presidential year. Really, you just don’t. Because there’s about 75 million Catholics in America, and the half of them who go to church will get mad. The other half won’t like it either.

If you’re good at politics, you quietly allow the church what it needs to survive, which actually is no more or less than what’s long been provided by the U.S. Constitution.

If you’re good at politics but ideologically mean, you string the church along throughout the election year, offering “temporary full waivers” or some such idiotic phrase—politicians love to make up idiotic phrases—on conscience, and then revoke all protections in 2013, after you’ve been re-elected, and have the fight then.

Only if you are really, really not good at politics do you alienate the bishops of a great faith in an election year.

A smaller example. If you’re good at politics, you don’t humiliate a friend and ally who popped off about your campaign strategy. You don’t send Cory Booker on a rhetorical perp walk and make him recant. You quietly accept his criticism, humbly note your disagreement, hold a grudge, and keep walking.

A more important example, and then we’ll move on. The president opened his campaign with a full-fledged assault on his opponent. This is a bad sign in an incumbent! An incumbent should begin his campaign with a full-fledged assertion of the excellence of his administration—the progress that has been made, the trouble that has been avoided, the promise that endures. You’ve got to be able to name these things. Then, once you’ve established the larger meaning of your administration—with wit and humor, and in a tone that assumes fair-minded Americans will see it your way—you turn, in late summer, to a happy, spirited assault on the poor, confused, benighted and yet ultimately dangerous man running against you.

The president’s campaign is making him look small and scared.

Mr. Romney, too, has had his bad moments. Donald Trump this week is an example. Mr. Trump brings with him the freak-show aspects of the primaries. Mr. Romney has to kick away from that, start a new chapter, begin an appeal to the sane center. Does he think keeping Trump close gains him some kind of right-wing street cred? My goodness, who does he think lives on that street?

More important, when you’re good at politics you know what you have to do, if not immediately then soon. Mr. Romney has to give us a plan. He has to tell us his priorities. To lead is to prioritize, to choose: “We will take this path, at this speed, toward this end.” He hasn’t done this yet. He told me last week of some immediate intentions: repeal ObamaCare, and move boldly to unleash America’s energy resources—he called them “newly discovered and extraordinary.”

Fine. But afterward I realized these issues are immediately and personally associated with President Obama. They are not associated with the president I suspect Mr. Romney really has on his mind, George W. Bush.

Mr. Romney should be talking about the big things, taxing and spending, and offering a plan on both, a hierarchal declaration of needs. But taxes and spending are issues that are associated with Mr. Bush, and not happily. That, I suspect, is a reason Mr. Romney avoids addressing them at length or in a way that’s easily understood. He doesn’t want the Obama campaign to accuse him of being “just more Bush,” of peddling the same medicine that helped make us sick. That was Ronald Reagan’s 1984 charge against Walter Mondale, that all he offered was the empty, warmed-over liberalism of the past.

The Romney camp doesn’t want to be accused of warmed-over Bushism. So they shy away from clarity on central issues. But you can’t avoid central issues. If you try, your candidacy and message will be robbed of vividness, made a blur.

Mr. Romney should face what didn’t work the past 12 years. Republicans took some wrong turns, and they know it. Centrists and independents know it, too. Candor here, delivered in a spirit of honesty, without animus, would seem not like a repudiation but a refreshment. And this would be deeply undercutting of Mr. Obama, who needs this race to be a fight between two parties, not a fight between a past that didn’t work and a future that can.

The Bush family will understand. They respect politics, and its practitioners.”

Peter Wehner at Commentary: Obama Over his Head Leading from Behind

Obama Is Simply Overmatched by Events

by Peter Wehner     at   Commentary:

It’s difficult to overstate just how depressing May’s job report is – and how much damage it will inflict on President Obama’s chances for re-election.

It’s not simply that the unemployment rate rose from 8.1 percent to 8.2 percent, or that it’s remained above 8 percent for 40 consecutive months, or that in May we gained less than 70,000 new jobs. Nor is it simply the fact that in May the number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over) increased from 5.1 million to 5.4 million. Or that the average work week fell to 34.4 hours. Or that, as John points out,  March and April’s jobs reports were revised downward. Or that in May, stocks suffered through their worst month in two years.

All of this matters quite a lot, of course. But what’s particularly injurious to the president’s re-election prospects is that May was the worst economic month in what is turning out to be a very bad economic year. The trajectory of events is down, not up. The economy is slowing down. Consumer confidence is dropping. Virtually every economic indicator is getting worse, not better.

This would be very troubling news for any incumbent president – but for one who has virtually no achievements he can point to with pride, it is triply damaging. Whatever fault one wants to ascribe to Obama’s predecessor, and whatever excuses the president can dream up, what is now beyond any reasonable dispute is that Obama has no clue how to fix things. That is not a political judgment; it’s an empirical one.

Barack Obama may be well-intentioned. He may be a fine father. He may have an excellent jump shot. And he may be a first-rate community organizer. But as president, he is simply — and by now almost undeniably — overmatched by events. By Obama’s own standards – by what he said and by what he promised — he is a failure.

For Obama, that is a politically lethal conclusion for a majority of the American people to come to. They were well on their way to arriving at this conclusion before today. They’re now further along than they were. And soon, very soon, there will be no way to undo it.

Obama….”The Amateur” by Ed Klein…..a must read about the Incompetence of Obama as President

Edward Klein’s ‘The Amateur’ Book Review

by Kris Zane   at Amazon:

I bought Edward Klein’s The Amateur  the day it came out; the day Klein revealed on Sean Hannity’s radio show that he had audio tapes of the pastor that Obama threw under the bus, Jeremiah Wright, stating that in 2008 Obama crony Eric Whitaker had offered him $150K to keep his mouth shut until after the election. Contrary to the naysayers of Klein’s previous exposé on Hillary Clinton, critics’ ad hominem attacks on Klein regarding The Amateur this time are ringing false, as the Top Ten slot on Amazon’s best seller list shows. Klein names names, interviewing over two hundred people for the book, including Obama’s two-decades-long former doctor, who makes the claim that Obama is basically a hollow shell, with no real emotion, and no connection to people. Klein “has the goods,” so to speak: in regard to the Eric Whitaker bribery, it is not merely a hidden microphone that caught Wright stating this. It is within an open, 3 1/2 hour interview, where Wright not only states he was bribed, but has the email to prove it. Wright makes other statements, such as Obama’s Muslim background, his fickle belief in Christianity, and his two-decades-long allegiance to Trinity United Church of Christ for purely political reasons.

I downloaded the book to my Kindle within hours of its release, and read it over a day and a half period, only pausing to sleep. Probably the two most enjoyable-to-read revelations are that 1. Bill Clinton urged Hillary to challenge Obama in 2012.  2. The Kennedy clan despise Obama, despite deceased Ted Kennedy’s tireless support of the Community Organizer-in-Chief.

An anecdote is described where Bill and Hillary Clinton are having an argument that took place over several days (a screaming match actually, with a dozen people present); that, because Obama had basically destroyed the economy, caused the downgrade of the U.S.’s credit rating for the first time in history, etc., etc.; that Obama was, according to Bill Clinton, an “Amateur” (this is the source of the title of the book); that Hillary needed to challenge Obama in 2012 in order to save the country from sliding off the cliff.

The Kennedy clan anecdote is jaw-dropping. All of the Kennedy clan (save Robert Kennedy, Jr.) had stood behind Obama in 2008. But after Obama’s coronation and repeated miffs by the First Family: 1. The Obamas ignored an invitation to the Kennedy Compound while vacation at Martha’s Vineyard. 2. Michelle Obama treated Caroline Kennedy (daughter of JFK) like hired help while at the White House, shaking her hand coldly, taking a quick photo, and making a quick exit—after these and other miffs the Kennedy royalty at a pow wow had had enough (at one point Robert Kennedy, Jr. shattered a glass in his hand) and got the message from the Obamas loud and clear: rich people are evil, and wanted no more to do with the former community organizers.

Contrary to Obama’s ’Attack Watch‘ claim of the book being totally discredited (whereby they don’t actually reference anything in the book, but simply go on an ad hominem attack), the book is meticulously researched and at the same time highly readable. It is at the time of this writing #9 on Amazon’s bestseller list, and hopefully it will reach #1, whereby at that point the majority of Americans will have read about the current “Amateur” in office being completely unqualified for the job; and realize that when a person is unqualified for a job, are incompetent, that the only remedy is either resignation or being fired.

I vote for being fired.

Comment:   The press sells Obama as warmly liked by the public.    In fact Barack Hussein Obama is a self-loving, egotistical bastard, a loner who doesn’t know how to get along with people, has no friends, has no American background, and as a rule for Marxists in a not-yet Marxist dictatorship, can be described accurately as devious, disingenuousness, divisive, duplicitous, and dishonest in his political habits.

If, indeed, he is truly thought of as likeable, it is a mark that our educational systems have long ago lost the ability to teach democratic principles and responsibilities.

He even bragged about leading from behind.

Lefty Obama Chose to be Black for its Benefits……Lefty, Elizabeth Warren Chose to be Cherokee for its Benefits

Warren’s trail of tears

by Sc ott Johnson at  PowerLine:

Elizabeth Warren must think she’s in some kind of trouble, or maybe just at risk. Why else would she have consented to a one-on-one interview with Sharman Sacchetti of Fox 25 in Boston (video below). Sacchetti has been dogging Warren on her claim that she’s an Indian too.

According to Warren in the interview, she’s been “fighting on behalf of working families” for the past 25 years — “every single day” — which would encompass her time on the faculties of Harvard and Penn Law Schools. How does that work? Maybe Glenn Reynolds or the Volokh conspirators can shed some light.

Watch the wheels spin in Warren’s mind as Sacchetti asks Warren if she will be Massachusetts’s first Native American Senator. (How did Sachetti keep from laughing?) Let’s just say, quoting Jay Nordlinger: “They don’t make Indian senators like Ben Nighthorse Campbell anymore.”

What an odious phony.

Comment:   Being an odious phony has become very popular among Democrat Party leadership.   A company is merely a reflection of its leadership.    The egomanical Barack Hussein Obama demonstrates daily  he is beyond the task of  governning in a democracy.   The world centers upon him and upon him only.   He devotedly leads from behind…….as the nation faces its financial  abyss.

In case you are not able to view the video, for following is a review of the interview with Squaw Warren…….who, if elected, will, it is reported below, be the first U.S. Senator with  “Native American heritage”  whether or not she is a ‘redskin’……after all, she  claims  high cheek bones as her birth certificate.

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – In a one-on-one interview with FOX 25′s Sharman Sacchetti on Friday, Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren answered questions about her heritage, character, and what she calls “rough and tumble” politics.

Warren denied the ongoing Native American controversy has put her campaign in jeopardy.

“Why, now, are you ready to answer our questions about character and not a couple of days ago, and not last week?” asks FOX 25′s Sharman Sacchetti.

“I think we have been. I have been answering those questions,” Warren responds.

The controversy over Warren’s ancestry reached a fever pitch this week when Gov. Patrick stepped in to answer a character question Sharman Sacchetti posed to Warren.

Gov. Patrick, speaking in reference to questions of Warren’s heritage, replied to Sacchetti, “On behalf of the people of the Commonwealth, we don’t care about that subject.” That comment had some Mass. residents firing back at the governor, saying he does not speak for them.

When asked if she regretted deferring to the governor that day, Warren replied, “No one has ever accused me of being someone who lays back too much and is hesitant to speak. The governor was a guest here in our campaign headquarters and when the governor wanted to speak, I think it’s appropriate to permit a guest to speak, I think it’s the right thing to do.”

Warren was also asked if she feels people care about the Native American issue in terms of it being a question of character.

“Well, I think that the best way to understand character is what people do. I’ve been out there now for 25 years, fighting on behalf of working families,” says Warren.

The Democratic candidate also reiterated that she has never benefited from claiming minority status, even if her schools may have.

If Warren is elected, she would be the state’s first female senator and the first senator who has Native American heritage.
