Name One American Institution Not In Decline!

One of the countless liberal establishment automatons representing contemporary American media writes in USA Today:

“WASHINGTON — Americans are overwhelmingly opposed to closing the detention center for suspected terrorists at Guantanamo Bay and moving some of the detainees to prisons on U.S. soil, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.
By more than 2-1, those surveyed say Guantanamo shouldn’t be closed. By more than 3-1, they oppose moving some of the accused terrorists housed there to prisons in their own states.

The findings underscore the difficult task President Obama faces in convincing those at home that he should follow through on his campaign promise to close the prison in Cuba, especially in the absence of a plan of where the prisoners would go.

In many parts of the world, however, Gitmo has become a symbol of U.S. arrogance and abuse, and Obama has cited its closure as a way to lay the foundation for better relations. He is scheduled to deliver a major address aimed at the Muslim world on Thursday from Cairo.

It is one of the few subjects on which most Americans side with the views of the Bush administration over its successor.”

Student body president, Barack Hussein Obama is a product of this establishment media. “It (the closing of Gitmo) is one of the few subjects on which most Americans side with the views of the Bush administration over its successor,” this automaton notes.

She hasn’t been paying too much attention of late, a habit shared by nearly every university journalism school graduate of the past 30 years. Most Americans do not want our Bush administration troops to be defeated in Afghanistan.. Most Americans do not want the Bush administration’s Iraq experiment to collapse. Most Americans do not want to abandon the Bush administration’s policy opposing late term abortions. Most Americans side with the Bush administration’s support for marriage to be between a man and a woman. Most Americans now oppose abortions except for certain circumstances. If the American people will ever regain curiosity to learn, they will rediscover how American President Bush was.

If it weren’t for the Soviet-like habits of the establishment American press to carve out the left’s party line in each of its stories peddled, both written and spoken, this prancing puppet “president” would still be pronouncing “present” in the political shadows of petty policy playgrounds.

Yet, WHAT AMERICAN INSTITUTION OVER THE PAST FORTY YEARS IS NOT IN A STATE OF COLLAPSE as it continues to be destroyed by the potentates of the leftwing Democrat Party? The courts, schools and universities, marriage, ethics, mores, the Church, the Synogogue, the American male, the American female, the profile of the American adolescent, American democracy, its language, its practice, its Constitution. One could continue and continue the list of the collapsing. Perhaps the institution in the most grievous state of decline over the past 40 years has been the death of the once honorable American Democrat Party itself.

I can think of but one exception to this sad fall. The group of men who are among the best trained in the world, who have not lost their “manness”, but have excersized it again and again in the Middle East and elsewhere. The men in the United States Military. May God bless them. I hope they are as proud of the country they serve, although damaged as it may be at the moment, as I am of them representing the best in America.

I am thankful and grateful for the women in these services who also help keep American strong. But the innards of the country are not strong. Its mind has been mistaught. The teachings are corrupt. The nation has become ill.

Remember the eminent historian’s warning: “Great civilizations are not murdered. They commit suicide.”
