“The Future Is Known. It’s The Past That Keeps Changing!” Dennis Interviews Jonathan Alter

Last week I had a chance to listen to Dennis Prager interview Jonathan Alter, senior editor at Newsweek, on Patriot Radio, 1280 AM here in the Twin Cities.

I am aware that Newsweek is an arm of the Lefties at the Washington Post, but I have never heard of this particular Lefty before.  Dennis is an easy, kind, and cuddly interviewer, always looking for maintaining his high level of decency….decency to hold himself to the topic, to truth, and to be polite and courteous………

…..even when the interviewed are Lefties.

I like and agree with Dennis on all fronts….even though I do not smoke and he has made a disparaging, humorous remark upon occasion about garden lovers, which includes me.  I actually agree with him in these remarks as well…..the ones about gardeners.    I am particularly proud of him that he does remain civil even when discussing matters with these Marxists.

The problem with Dennis’ rule of courtesy, is the Lefties are still Lefties.   They never answer simple and direct questions honestly or even indirectly.  They are as jack rabbits scampering here and there looking evermore for an escape, a hole in which to hide from any pursuing cat who is trying to chase the rodent down to answer a question honestly…..forthrightly…..without running yet further to another hole for cover.

Johathan Alter is a skilled Lefty, therefore a skilled rabbit….the rodent always on the run when pursued by a conservative……if this visit with Dennis is typical.

Today, I picked up the second interview Dennis scheduled with Mr. Alter.  When asked sensible questions about the Gulf oil disaster, fossile fuel use, leftwing policies forever killing onland American efforts to drill  for oil, and the mere mention of  the carbon dioxide pollutant fraud,  the Newsweek man scampered everywhere for cover….most cover coming from non sequiturs reaching to Republican Teddy Roosevelt as a member “of your team” referring to Dennis’ conservativism, to deflect asap away from any answer which might suggest honesty, sincerity, any answer based on knowledge or reality.

Dennis would try to interrupt when this Newsweek windbag refused  to stop his frequent  baritone   solos.  Lefties, led by president Obama,  love the hum of their voices.  They have much experience in choral work  forever singing and making others sing a cappella  whenever anything intellectual, social  or political turns up.  Marxism has a simple tonal range.

Dennis as always was polite.  He’d offer a stutter here and then a “but, what about?” there, however the rabbit would immediately jump onto another path, another glib fignment of the Marxist imagination.

I am hoping that most Prager fans either heard this second interview or would pick it up on Dennis”podcast” arrangement.

American Marxists, such as Mr. Alter, are modern day college graduates.   They have been crippled all of their collegiate and employment   lives by being confined to such  narrow-minded and often devious   populations  the modern American universities have morphed.

As much as any democrat should detest Fidel Castro and his Marxist dictatorship, one should remember his solution for Cuba  to the patrician disease which afflicts the American modern day college graduate, ergo the Democrat Party.  He sent them all to the sugar fields to cut cane for a year or two to bring them back to real human life.

I don’t think that Fidel solution worked to democratize anyone, however, nor would I ever recommend it.  Once the plebes were given state power in this Marxism, there was absolutely no difference between these poles in the despotism exercising government policy.

The  Marxism which is  already at home in America is the Leftwing love of “cleansing  the past”……the manipulation of history and history’s pictures, biographies, and science.

A common constant joke in the good old USSR (The Communist dictatorship called the Soviet Union….or ‘Russia’ before the early 1990’s for readers limited by  a modern Liberal American public school education since that time)…..ran thusly:

“The future is known.  It’s the past that keeps changing.”

Dennis correctly clarifies that the Marxist Left lies, because it doesn’t dare  put its fascist agenda before a democratic peoples for examination……to illustrate the horror of the future when all power becomes goverrnment power.

“The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen,”  Dennis reminds us.

Those from the World War Two scene who are still alive, will never forget Winston Churchill and all of the talents of leadership this cigar smoking man collected in one chubby body.

In the yesterdays of Church political correctness, Churchill was never presented in picture or setting while drinking.   He seemed to be even more clever than his clever self when drinking or so the rumors flew.  But to knowledge no picture was ever “corrected” after the fact.

After his kind hosting of  senior editor of Newsweek, Dennis reported that the famous Second World War Picture of Churchill cigarred, raising his hand to present the Victory sign for the Allied cause, has been altered by the “educated Left”.

These Leftwing bureaucrats have made the picture a lie……Churchill has now been uncigarred from that memorable photograph.  (It must have  been cleaned up for the good of the people.)

“The Left has made that picture a LIE, Dennis declared.”   And so these Marxists have and will continue to do.

“The future is known.  It’s the past that keeps changing.”

Incidentally, alcoholic and heavily cigarred Winston Churchill died at age 84, if my memory serves me right.
