Romney Must Choose Rubio!!!

Dick Morris to Newsmax:

Rubio Is the ‘Only Choice That Makes Sense’

 (article sent by Mark Waldeland)

By: Paul Scicchitano

With The New York Times reporting that Mitt Romney has made a decision and could announce his running mate as early as this week, political guru and best-selling author Dick Morris tells Newsmax.TV that he is convinced Florida Sen. Marco Rubio will get the nod, but not necessarily before the Republican National Convention.

“It’s the only choice that makes sense,” insisted the Fox News analyst in an exclusive interview on Monday. “It would be a mistake to announce it this week, or next, or next. He should save it for the convention because the key question is how many people will watch the convention? We need that suspense to be hanging in the air. But in an effort to kill the suspense, I believe that it will be Rubio, and I believe that he decided that a while ago.”

One Response

  1. It’s too bad Rubio isn’t eligible to be Vice President, because the same requirements exist for the VP, that exist for the President, the natural born citizen phrase. Rubio was born in 71, while his parents weren’t naturalized until 75. Since Rubio was born in the USA, he is a citizen, but not a natural born citizen, because his parents weren’t citizens, he can not be natural born. He can be a Senator, or anything else, but President, or VP, because the natural born citizen phrase only appears in the qualifications for those offices. Jindal has the same problem, both his parents were naturalized after he was born. And, Santorum can’t supply documents proving his father was naturalized, apparantlt because his father never bothered getting naturalized. Since Republicans didn’t demand that Obama be vetted in the Senate at the same time McCain was, could it be they didn’t want to, because they knew of these eligibility issues with their own candidate, and potential candidates? If both parties are conspiring to violate the Constitution, is it any wonder the Birthers are being demonized? Are we being played by both parties? Many have shown awareness, from both parties, that Obama has violated the Constitution several times, during his term, but nothing has been done.
