A Marriage to Remember!

A year or two ago a wealthy British gal managed to legally marry her pet dolphin.    That is precisely the level of meaning marriage becomes when its no longer meant to be the institution by which civilized people raise their children.

Many single women love their cats and dogs.   If love is the primary purpose for marriage as the American Marxist believes, why cannot these poor female soulds wind up with a host of mates and call it marriage?

Dennis Prager: Obama Campaign Speech is “DARK, DEPRESSING, AND A LIE!”

The present president’s name is Barack Hussein Obama.     Tje ,am os a chronic and habitual liar to  flattr himself and embellish his cause…..MARXISM.

I have used Hussein often when referring to this present president, Barack Hussein Obama.   I have considered him a foreigner, a third world thuggish foreigner while he was campaigning against Hillary Rodham Clinton, who certainly knew how to lie when it became convenient.   Remember her advertising being shot at when parading around on an aircraft carrier deck……when in truth children approached her with bouquets of flowers?

But Hillary is an American, raised American,  bigotted as a lefty American,  but at least she knows things American from the rest of the world.   She is one of us,  the 70% white, 12% black, 12% Hispanics, and 5% ‘others’  who collectively can tell an American from a foreigner.

Barack is among the 1% who are  foreigners,   who have not been raised in American communities, compounds, neighborhoods rich or poor, tall or short,  fat or skinny, Christian or……well….I won’t quite go that far, yet.  

Americans are those who, if they swear, know where or in front of whom,  one really can’t or shouldn’t.     These Americans have a certain grace…..and I shall call it from my own 78 years of life, Christian grace.

Mr. Obama is NOT a Christian.    He has  absolutely no Chritian grace…..and so can,  without any feelings of guilt and without any anxiety, lie anytime he wants, if it helps his personal cause……and he does so, for he is a Marxist…..a budding one, perhaps, but nevertheless, a Marxist.

Dennis teaches that a lie is a lie only if the liar knows when he or she is lying.

I don’t buy that, but I do understand his point that there is more than one category to lying.   Perhaps we can call Lies of the first degree, when the liar knows the utterance is a lie, and Lies of the second degree when one unwittingly passes on a lie for personal advantage.

“DARK…..DEPRESSING….AND A LIE”,  Dennis expounded…..very, very accurately.   This Obama, this half-white bundle of arrogance wrapped up in deceit, was calling out to his lovers, what he and his kind (whoever they may be) have as a vision for America…..a nation where skin color, last names, facial appearances, places of birth, and those who might love whatever or whomever, can be whoever they wish to be……in the America which he will  create.

The CHEAT.    Who in hell do he think he is.   A half black man raised in a foreign country and Hawaii, with a name Barack Hussein Obama, and he is pretending that people with such names, such backgrounds, such families are at the lowest possible caste to which a human can be forced to live.

Obama, the liar, is ready to sink America into a financial abyss,  promising billions of dollars on projects to buy him and his kind votes to advance his Godless, Americaless Marxist cause for our country.

“And he was cheered by his audience”,  Dennis moaned.     “Do they actually listen to what he says?”

Dennis believes that this  Obama message, it lie, baseness, its divisiveness, and bitotry  is repeated throughout the  Left  in America.    One wonders whatever happened to the Democratic Party Dennis and I used to vote for.

Guy Benson did a nice job of writing this up but really, there’s no comment necessary. The clips speak for themselves. Job one for Democrats: Lie your ass off in the interest of convincing seniors that Romney and Ryan are prepared to reduce Medicare benefits for everyone, regardless of age, instead of exempting people aged 55 and over as Ryan has promised. When that doesn’t work — and thanks to a surprisingly dogged Wolf Blitzer, it doesn’t — shift to plan B by arguing that Romney and Ryan are prepared to reduce Medicare for the grandmas of the future, which could totally be avoided if we just keep reelecting Democrats and have the magical unicorn in Obama’s backyard fart out a few new trillion-dollar bills to keep the program solvent. No mention of the unicorn here by Debbie, alas, but be patient. I think they might be ready to roll him out at the convention.

Mark my words. By October, Wasserman-Schultz will be doing these segments standing next to old ladies who are eating Fancy Feast out of the can. “Is this what you want, America?”

Honesty Does Overcome ObamaSleaze among some Democrats

Why is this important?  Erskine Bowles has a long pedigree as a Democratic budget thinker — and presidential adviser.  When Barack Obama needed to pick the co-chair for his deficit committee, which he roundly ignored in the end, he chose Bowles to represent his side on the panel.  Bowles served as Bill Clinton’s chief of staff, and earlier ran the Small Business Administration for Clinton.  Ezra Klein predicted on Friday that Bowles would be the front-runner for Tim Geithner’s job at Treasury if Obama wins a second term.

Bear in mind this while you watch this clip, found by our good friend Morgen Richmond over the weekend — the Ryan budget came as an answer of sorts to the budget recommendations from the deficit committee, on which Ryan served with Bowles.  Even though this is a competing plan, Bowles in September 2011 was impressed with it and with Ryan enough to call it “sensible,” “honest,” and “serious” — although Bowles still didn’t accept it as a substitute for the panel’s:

U.S. Debt Continues to Grow

The fiscal gap is the present value difference between projected future spending and revenue. It captures all government liabilities, whether they are official obligations to service Treasury bonds or unofficial commitments, such as paying for food stamps or buying drones, say Laurence Kotlikoff, an economist at Boston University, and Scott Burns, a syndicated columnist.

Some question whether “official” and “unofficial” spending commitments can be added together. For its part, economic theory sees through labels and views a country’s official debt for what it is — a linguistic construct devoid of real economic content. In contrast, the fiscal gap is theoretically well-defined and invariant to the choice of labels. Each labeling choice changes the mix of obligations between official and unofficial, but leaves the total unchanged.

• The U.S. fiscal gap, calculated using the Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) realistic long-term budget forecast — the Alternative Fiscal Scenario — is now $222 trillion
• Last year, it was $211 trillion.
• The $11 trillion difference — this year’s true federal deficit — is 10 times larger than the official deficit and roughly as large as the entire stock of official debt in public hands.

This fantastic and dangerous growth in the fiscal gap is not new.

• In 2003 and 2004, economists Alan Auerbach and William Gale extended the CBO’s short-term forecast and measured fiscal gaps of $60 trillion and $86 trillion, respectively.
• In 2007, the first year the CBO produced the Alternative Fiscal Scenario, the gap stood at $175 trillion.
• By 2009, when the CBO began reporting the Alternative Fiscal Scenario annually, the gap was $184 trillion.
• In 2010, it was $202 trillion, followed by $211 trillion in 2011 and $222 trillion in 2012.

Part of the fiscal gap’s growth reflects changes in policy, such as the Bush and Obama tax cuts, the introduction of Medicare Part D, and the expansion of defense spending. Part reflects “natural” growth of existing programs, including growth in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement rates. And part reflects the demographic time bomb U.S. politicians are blithely ignoring.

Closing the gap using taxes requires an immediate and permanent 64 percent increase in all federal taxes. Alternatively, the United States needs to cut, immediately and permanently, all federal purchases and transfer payments, including Social Security and Medicare benefits, by 40 percent. What the government can’t do is pay its bills by spending more and taxing less.
