Obama’s CommonCore Education Designed to Further Dummy Down the Citizen?

Leftwing educators graduating from Leftwing universities and colleges over the past generation have at last managed to make public education a national Marxist institution.

They managed to discard teaching knowledge long before the rise of drug, sex, and violence became standard with the arrival of the Bill Ayers of America during the Vietnam War era and the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama.

Instead of local school boards making decisions regarding the educational requirements and needs of their and their neighbor’s children, DICTATES now seem to come from the Oval Office. Marxists are in charge!

These Marxists offer American children a national indoctrination program called, “Common Core”…..designed to help Americans of the future become good Marxists, think alike, do alike, dress alike, vote alike, and be significanty dumber down the knowledge chart than ever before. It appears culturally, they are to be made ‘more black’ and more ‘female’, to expand the educational competitive energies to a lower level of equality.

Marxists are always interested in taxing citizens of wealth, creativity and liberty. Why not dummy them down. If they know less and less, Presidents and other rulers need to know less and less.

Amassing knowledge once was highly valued in Western cultures, creating all sorts of problems for those who prefer to rape, pillage, and burn at the more animal levels of our human life…..always a possibility whereever the human animal slips out of civilized trainings.

In today’s United States of America, the present administration out of Washington sells an ObamaCare program for public-schooled American young. It’s called COMMON CORE and is especially designed for modern Marxist America.

Destroying, eliminating, or contolling knowledge in educating America’s young has long been a goal of today’s Marxist-Atheist professors from which American terrorist, Bill Ayers, retired a few years ago as leader.

ObamaWorship in city schools enterred the CommonCore community nearly the minute Obamagod was sworn in as president, January, 2009. Sings and praises, dances and chantings set the new Marxist way.

Now we have CommonCore….a system of national dictate to establish a school curriculum to avoid teaching knowledge.

After all, those who are equally dumb are equally learned!
Besides, exercising feelings is so much more feminine….whatever it takes for Marxists to control power.

Will the Supreme Court Establish Atheism as the State Religion?

The following article was written by Paul Mirengoff at PowerLine:

A DANGEROUS TECHNICAL ARGUMENT AGAINST HOBBY LOBBY

It’s bad enough when a court decision deprives of us liberty or fails to remedy a deprivation wrought by the State. But it’s particularly galling when a court takes away liberty through a technicality. Unfortunately, that route often tempts a judiciary too sheepish to base indefensible outcomes on substantive grounds.

In the Hobby Lobby case discussed by Scott earlier this morning, the substantive issue before the Supreme Court is the validity of an Obamacare rule requiring employers to provide health care plans for their employees that cover birth control and abortion procedures that violate the employer’s sincerely held religious-based beliefs. But there is a threshold technical issue — whether a corporation like Hobby Lobby has any religious freedom rights under the First Amendment.

I find the claim that owners of a company like Hobby Lobby can be forced to violate their religious beliefs simply because they have chosen to incorporate to be laughable (though not funny). Can you imagine the owner of a business telling his priest, minister, or orthodox rabbi that he’s not the one violating religious tenets by paying for abortions or staying open for business on the Sabbath; the corporation he controls is the culprit? The priest, minister, or orthodox rabbi would not be impressed. Neither would the Good Lord.

Jay Sekulow offers three reasons why corporations must have religious freedom. First, as the paragraph above suggests, corporations may have an independent legal existence but they are formed, staffed by, and act through individuals. As Sekulow explains:

A corporation’s expression is the expression of the people who work for it and lead it. The law recognizes this reality when it holds corporations liable for the acts of the individuals who work for it, so long as those individuals act within the scope of their employment.

When you allow an organization to speak, people speak. When you censor an organization, you censor people.

Second, when you restrict corporations First Amendment rights, you are restricting a vast amount of the speech and other forms of expression that we take for granted as being free from government mandates and control.

What’s a movie? Corporate expression. A television show? Corporate expression. What about hospital policies regarding end of life care or abortion? Corporate expression.

Third, if the Supreme Court rules against Hobby Lobby, in what sense will “private enterprise” ever again be truly “private?”

If the United States government can force the people running a corporation to use corporate resources to provide free abortion-pills to employees (especially when contraceptives are cheap and widely available on the open market), it is difficult to imagine the meaningful limits on government power in the marketplace. . . .

If government can regulate when it pleases, however it pleases, regardless of the strength of the owner’s convictions or the weakness of the government’s interests, then does anyone truly own a business any longer?

Thus, to deprive Hobby Lobby of its religious freedom based on the technicality of its corporate status arguably would do even more substantive damage than if the Court reaches the merits of the First Amendment claim. No doubt, the Obama administration would love that result.

Comment by g….Marxists ADORE bureaucracies, build bureacracies to use bureaucracies to stifle free thought, invention, and discovery, for it is the religion of the “want to know nothings” dominated by unmarried females. Follow the thinking and decisions of those gals already on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Marxism is a religion…..favored throughout garages where America’s Law Schools are located. The LIBERAL STATE in America has already shown favors to Democrats to establish Marxism as the State religion…..Some groups already worship their Lord Obama in public schools in song, word, and deed.

The worship paid dividends. Over 95% of these religious neophytes voted for their savior, Lord Obama.

Obama’s “Care” Disaster now Four Years Old

A COSTLY FAILED EXPERIMENT

from the National Center for Policy Analysis:

Sunday marked the four-year anniversary of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), but the administration has little to show for it. We are far from the main goal of the law — universal coverage — and the Congressional Budget Office has confirmed that many of the uninsured targeted by the law will remain uninsured, says John Goodman, president and CEO of the National Center for Policy Analysis.

Try as he might to convince the public that ObamaCare is working, there are three problems that are not going to go away:

•An impossible mandate: Per capita health care spending has been growing at twice the rate of income for the last four decades and yet ObamaCare restricts the growth of Medicare spending, Medicaid hospital spending and tax subsidies in the exchanges. Basically, as health care costs rise — becoming more of a burden for the average family — people will get less and less help from the government to pay for the insurance that the government insists they purchase.

•Unworkable subsidies: Not only does ObamaCare treat similarly-situated people differently in arbitrary ways, but these disparities in treatment will have a negative impact on the economy. Businesses will realize that nearly everyone who earns less than the average wage will get a better deal from the federal exchange or Medicaid, while those earning above the average wage will get a better deal if insurance is provided at work. Higher-income workers will congregate in the firms that provide insurance, while low-income workers will do the opposite. This is not efficient. Firm size and compositions should be determined by economic factors, not by health insurance subsidies.

•Perverse exchange incentives: Because insurers are required to charge the same premiums to everyone and accept all comers, they must overcharge the healthy and undercharge the sick. Because insurers only make a profit on healthy enrollees, the law gives them strong incentives to attract the healthy and avoid the sick — creating a race to the bottom. In order to keep premiums as low as possible, insurers are offering very narrow networks because only some providers are willing to accept such low fees. These narrow networks often leave out the best doctors and hospitals.
What’s the solution to this mess? Goodman says that getting rid of mandates, allowing people to choose their own insurance benefits and offering universal tax credits to everyone is a start, as well as making health savings accounts more accessible. All of the provisions in ObamaCare that encourage employers not to hire people or to reduce their workers’ hours should go, as should the provisions that prevent employers from providing their employees with insurance that would travel with them from job to job.

U of North Carolina U Branch Staff….FOR ATHEISTS ONLY

The following article was sent by Mark Waldeland:

At University, Charges of Religious Prof-iling
http://www.frc.org/washingtonupdate/at-university-charges-of-religious-prof-iling

At the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Dr. Mike Adams teaches crime — but he never dreamed he’d be the victim of one. Unfortunately for the assistant professor, that all changed when his ideology did. When he was hired as a criminology expert 21 years ago, Adams was an avowed and outspoken atheist — a worldview that was shaken to the core when Mike went to visit a prisoner on death row in 2000. The convict, a mentally handicapped man, had read the entire Bible — something Adams had never done. He resolved then and there to change that — and when he did, Mike was completely transformed.

The once-vocal liberal became a passionate follower of Christ, a conversion that ultimately bled over into his political beliefs. Over time, he started writing columns and doing media appearances from a conservative perspective — infuriating UNCW’s forces of political correctness in the process. Like most universities, the faculty was a fraternity of liberals, who insist on diversity but practice anything but. After a slew of awards and accolades for his work, Mike applied for a full professorship in 2006.

Despite a glowing record, the University turned down his application. Apparently, the only promotion UNCW is interested in is the promotion of the liberal agenda. As his lead attorney, David French, writes in NRO, administrators engaged in the fiercest kind of viewpoint discrimination. It was “a process where they applied a made-up promotion standard that contradicted the faculty handbook, passed along false information about his academic record, deceptively edited documents to influence the faculty vote, explicitly discussed his constitutionally protected viewpoint, and allowed a faculty member with an obvious and outrageous conflict of interest to cast a vote against him.” At one point, the University even launched an underground investigation (at the request of a transgender group) to determine if the professor was “transphobic.”

Stunned, Adams sued, insisting the school had infringed on his free speech rights. After hearing the details, our friends at Alliance Defending Freedom agreed to represent Mike, and together they embarked on a seven year journey to right the University’s wrong. Last week, after winding through the appeals process, Mike Adams finally got the news he was waiting for. Although UNCW officials denied that they were retaliating against Adams for his faith — the court disagreed. After seeing the evidence, a federal jury agreed that Adams’s speech was a “substantial or motivating factor” in denying him a full professorship. When pressed, UNCW officials couldn’t prove that they would have made the same decision in the absence of his conservative beliefs. Although the case isn’t over (the court hasn’t decided what form of “relief” to grant — nor has the school decided whether to appeal), the victory is a major one.

ADF’s French understands the significance of the ruling for other conservatives oppressed by academic elites. “Dr. Adams’s story has now gone from a cautionary tale of the punishment that leftist universities inflect upon dissenters to a strong signal that conservative professors can indeed fight back and prevail.” As the 4th Circuit Court ruled on this same case, “No individual loses his ability to speak as a private citizen by virtue of public employment.” We applaud Dr. Adams for having the courage and the will to fight back. Unfortunately, in the world of higher education, there’s only one school of thought — and it isn’t tolerance.
