Membership in NEA ‘Union’ Continues to Drop

Mark Waldeland sent the following news from HotAir, statistics showing a steady drop in the major teachers’ union, the National Education Association.  Mark and I were  fellow teachers at a Minneapolis Public High School in the 1960s and 1970s,  but had joined the Minnesota Teachers’ Federation…..more of a guy’s labor union in those days.   Schools of majority white students were still civilized then.    Neither ‘union’ even   in those days  was much interested in the quality of education being offered students  anywhere near  a school.   Since then the  teaching knowledge part seems to have gone the way of the dodo.

NY Times “Black” Media, Charles Blow: ” The bear may be trapped, but he’s not browbeaten. He’s growling.”

Racial writer, Charles Blow, the New York Time ‘pundit’ voice on black racial matters shakes with pride writing about the president’s ‘bearness’  attempting to fight out of the  condition in which  the present American president has wrapped himself……

His  bear, tearing apart the Law of the Land all by himself, stirs his “Heil Hitler” dreams.   He writes:

 

‘ At a Minneapolis town hall last week, Obama said: “With Secret Service, I always tease them, I’m like a caged bear and sometimes I break loose.”

During a walk a few weeks ago from the White House to the Interior Department, the president proclaimed, “The bear is loose.”

The bear may be trapped, but he’s not browbeaten. He’s growling.’

Does   he dreams of  his Obama  as  a Stalinist  USSR ‘bear’   running America  instead?
