“An interesting question for history is who was the real leader of the West the past half-dozen years, Angela Merkel of Germany or Canada’s Stephen Harper, voted out this week after almost 10 years as prime minister. His great success was in helping bring his country through and past the global meltdown of 2008. He was loyal to Western principles and a friend of America even when, as in recent years, its leaders’ decisions left him doubting and dismayed.

A general rule of politics: After 10 years they are going to throw you out. But the vote was overwhelming after a charmless, dour campaign. The incoming prime minister is the 43-year-old son of charismatic former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. Justin Trudeau has been a snowboard instructor, schoolteacher, bartender, bouncer, speaker on environmental and youth issues, and advocate for avalanche safety. Sensing “generational change” and gravitating toward “a life of advocacy,” he entered politics and served two terms in Parliament. He has been head of the Liberal Party two years. He is handsome, has a winning personality, exhibited message discipline during the campaign, and is a talented dancer. There’s a sense we in the West have entered a new screwball phase. Watching Mr. Trudeau’s victory speech, I remembered the columnist Dorothy Thompson reaction on watching the newly inaugurated President John F. Kennedy. There’s something not fully stable there, she thought. But we have to let history do what it enjoys doing, which is surprising us.”   Do read on:

Will the Republican Establishment Join the Black Lives Matter Savages for a Handful of Votes?

Rumor arose at Fox news this evening that the National Republican Party is planning to co-fund a series of shows with the savages of the streets known as Black Lives Matter…..remember them? They are the black and white savages who shout “Kill the Cops” in New York City and Fry the Pigs” in St. Paul, Minnesota…..for beginners of their vileness.

If, indeed, this is the case, it is time we conservatives apply pressure upon these eastern isolates who run the national party. We shall NOT dishonor the finest among citizens in America, the courageous, articulate, intelligent conservatives of Negro background…..the true Americans who think, act, and teach rather than bribe, threaten and murder to make their way upon the civilized American stage.

Make NO DEAL with any Republicans who will subscribe and participate in Black Lives Matter savagery. DO NOT ADVANCE EVIL BY SUPPORTING PEOPLE WHO ABET EVIL!

Make certain the national republican committees understand there is NO place for them playing tootsie with revolutionary savages of the streets, whether college educated or not.

Offer NO FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY……if the Party in any manner dances with these devils. Offer truth in speech and performance to the American public of which they are a part. Challenge, but DO NOT DANCE WITH THE DEVIL. Promise not to befoul your Country.

It is understandable why this eastern Republican establishment seems to be so quick to ignore the nation’s honor and Constitution when the good of America is so abused daily by the greedy leftist savages presently ‘owning’ the White House, our country’s  education and communication industries, emasculating Congress and the Law, and celebrating dishonesty at every corner to sell their drugs. They, after all, have graduated from the same Marxified institutions where the miseducated Marxists both in Congress and on the Streets have given power  to this Obamaling mess of the corrupt.

DONATE NOTHING TO THE RNC until it comes clean with its intentions regarding these marauding Marxists of the streets. Donate to the individual Republican candidate of your choice until the honor of the Party is reassured.

Bush Cuts Payroll, Shifts Staff to Early Voting States

MIAMI — Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign announced Friday that it will drastically cut staff salaries and shift resources from its Miami headquarters to key early voting states, the latest sign of trouble for the onetime frontrunner in the Republican primary.

The cuts, first reported by Bloomberg News, will reduce payroll costs by 40 percent and downsize the campaign headquarters to 25 percent of the campaign’s overall staff, according to a campaign memo. Bloomberg reported that some senior staff will be working on a volunteer basis, and the campaign plans to stop using some consultants…..please read on:

Hillary Mouth and Her Art of Deflection at Benghazi Hearing

Talking ad nauseum is a human art form dominated today  by “leftist”  feminists, the last two words being redundant but used here for emphasis.   Hillary Roddham Clinton is an ace with ‘ad nauseum’.

The human female is by Nature loaded  with feelings.  Solving problems for human survival, however,   is far   more likely to occur from wisdom rather than hysteria.

It is the human male who, by Nature, has been brushed and/or  programmed to face the overwhelming  tonnage  of problem solving, which at the most animal of levels is propelled by hysteria.   It is human DNA that makes him, not her, a natural born killer, a sexual predator, a hunter, a protector, a builder, and  with the instincts, therefore,  to be  driven by and into  curiosity, both for  ‘good’ and the ‘bad’, the ‘useful’ and the ‘unuseful’, the ‘safe’ and the ‘unsafe’.

Then there is the American  feminist, a special species all of its own…..in this case the one starring with mouth and experience,  jealousy and hate, deception and dishonor, Hillary Roddham Clinton, born ditsy,  the one who visited this week with our nation’s   House Benghazi Committee seeking Truth about, rather than Hillary’s version, her  claims regarding and explaining  the murders of four honorable  American men  in the American compound in  that Libyan city on an anniversary of Islamic atrocities at the World Trade Center and elsewhere a few years earlier.

Hillary  was  to introduce herself,  where she announced at length how vital she was to humanity, at least the leftist kind.  The positive and the more positive flew out of her cuspids to demonstrate how tough and butch she was to overcome her enemies at all costs especially that night of the murders.   Most of the spew had nothing to do with the case at hand.

This Mrs. Clinton, God forbid, is, at the moment, feminist, Marxist,  frump, liar, plotter, and all, is favored to become our country’s 45th president.

When asked questions, none were answered beyond words deflecting to the winds’ of time, a make-believe-time of Clinton imagination, where she, as  “Madame Perfection” was already the goddess running her world for America.   It, of course, was beneath her to answer the panel’s questions truthfully.   She knows what truth means….and so, is very talented and experienced in maneuvering around and destroying truth when needed to advance her aura.

‘Hillary Clinton’s spin about the attack was a politically expedient fiction.’

(Excerpts from The Wall Street Journal, Kimberly Strassel)

“Thanks to Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi testimony on Thursday, we now understand why the former secretary of state never wanted anyone to see her emails and why the State Department sat on documents. Turns out those emails and papers show that the Obama administration deliberately misled the nation about the deadly events in Libya on Sept. 11, 2012…

“The administration instead immediately presented the attack as a spontaneous mob backlash to an anti-Muslim YouTube video. At 10:30 on the night of the attack, Mrs. Clinton issued a statement about the violence, blaming the video. She repeated the charge in a speech the next day. President Obama gave his own speech that day, referring to the video and refusing to use the word ‘terrorism’…

“Here’s what the Benghazi committee found in Thursday’s hearing. Two hours into Mrs. Clinton’s testimony, Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan referred to an email Mrs. Clinton sent to her daughter, Chelsea, at 11:12 the night of the attack, or 45 minutes after the secretary of state had issued a statement blaming YouTube-inflamed mobs. Her email reads: ‘Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an Al Queda-like group.’ Mrs. Clinton doesn’t hedge in the email; no ‘it seems’ or ‘it appears.’ She tells her daughter that on the anniversary of 9/11 an al Qaeda group assassinated four Americans.

“That same evening, Mrs. Clinton spoke on the phone with Libyan President Mohamed Magariaf, around 8 p.m. The notes from that conversation, in a State Department email, describe her as saying: ‘We have asked for the Libyan government to provide additional security to the compound immediately as there is a gun battle ongoing, which I understand Ansar as Sharia [sic] is claiming responsibility for.’ Ansar al Sharia is al Qaeda’s affiliate on the Arabian Peninsula. So several hours into the attack, Mrs. Clinton already believed that al Qaeda was attacking U.S. facilities.

“The next afternoon, Mrs. Clinton had a call with the Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Kandil. The notes from it are absolutely damning. The secretary of state tells him: ‘We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack—not a protest.’ And yet Mrs. Clinton, and Ms. Rice and Mr. Obama for days and days continued to spin the video lie…  (emphasis added)

“Count on the Obama administration to again resort to blaming ‘confusing’ and ‘conflicting’ information at the time for its two-week spin. That was Mrs. Clinton’s flimsy excuse at the hearing. But her own conversations prove she was in no doubt about what happened—while it was still happening…”

“It’s about what these women will let guys get away with.” You may not expect to hear commentary like that at your garden-variety think tank panel discussion, but it got pretty lively at the American Enterprise Institute discussion on the topic “Do Healthy Families Affect the Wealth of States?”

Megan McArdle of Bloomberg View is author of the above comment. The question at hand was: Why are so many young women (64 percent of moms under the age of 30) having children out of wedlock? Nowhere is the class divide in America as wide as on the matter of marriage. College-educated men and women are sticking with the traditional order of marriage first and children second. Not only that, but they are far less likely to divorce than their parents’ generation was. Those with only some college or less, by contrast, are much less likely to marry before having children, and much more likely to divorce if they do marry.

McArdle was answering her own question in a sense. She noted that many who have studied the retreat from marriage among the uneducated propose the “working class men are garbage” hypothesis. According to this view, lots of young men are unemployed and playing video games all day. Why would a young woman want to marry such a loser? She’d just be getting another kid.

But as McArdle observes, someone is enabling that behavior on the part of the young man. The question still stands. In the interim, Congress passed and President Bill Clinton signed a welfare reform bill that was successful in reducing welfare dependency to some degree and certainly contributed to a drop in childhood poverty. Two disheartening things have happened since: 1) the Obama administration unilaterally vitiated the work requirements in the welfare law through regulation; and 2) the secular trend toward unwed parenthood continued unabated.

Is it the lack of jobs for high school graduates that has made young men less “marriageable,” or is it the retreat from marriage that makes kids who grow up in unstable home less able to take advantage of job opportunities? Chicken? Egg?………Do read on:

Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer reacts to Hillary Clinton’s handling of the House Select Committee on Benghazi hearing.

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER:  “That’s They knew it was a terror attack. They got it from Gregory Hicks, who was on the ground in Tripoli who told them that. He had ended up demoted in the State Department for having transgressed against the Secretary. And yet, they go ahead, they put Susan Rice on that weekend. And tell a tale that is completely false. Spontaneous demonstration, out of control, et cetera, of the video. I think that’s where the emphasis ought to be.

I think A.B. [Stoddard] right. The judge [Andrew Napolitano] said there are three audiences, the main audience that matters, unless she’s indicted, is the people. American people watching this. They don’t care about [Sidney] Blumenthal.

Trump Wins Record Ratings for Chris Wallace Fox News Sundays

Continuing to strew ratings records wherever he appears, Donald Trump deliveredFox News Sunday With Chris Wallace its most-watched broadcast in more than six years. The Sunday Beltway show logged 1,618,000 total viewers last Sunday, and 471K news-demo viewers. In overall audience, FNS jumped 23% compared to the same day last year.

 The sit-down marked Trump’s first visit to Wallace’s show since announcing his candidacy in June.

Wallace’s was the only Sunday Beltway show on which Trump has not appeared since throwing his hat in the ring.

Finally appearing, Trump defended his threat to boycott CNBC’s GOP debate unless it was held to two hours in length, because, he said, CNN’s three-hour GOP debate was too long and “people were turning off — who’s going to watch a debate that long?” But Trump also boasted that CNN’s GOP debate had logged record ratings (23M), as had Fox News Channel’s GOP debate (24M), simpering, “Do you have any idea why?”   (Please continue.)
