Ken Paulson ….USA Today:
“It took 151 years, but “In God We Trust” has gone viral. The phrase, first placed on a U.S. coin in 1864, has become the message of choice for a growing number of law-enforcement agencies across the country.
“There are all these news stories about Ferguson and Baltimore, and I have personally been in a firefight and when you come out of one of those, you know you’re trusting in God,” Nathan Stevens, police chief of Cave City, Ark., told KAIT television. Fueled by controversies over aggressive policing and seemingly random attacks on officers, dozens of departments have placed “In God We Trust” on patrol cars.
Despite our constitutional guarantee that government cannot promote a specific religion, the decals will remain. The reason: A 1970 federal court decision that came to the surprising conclusion that “In God We Trust” is not a religious expression.
“It is quite obvious that the national motto and the slogan on coinage and currency ‘In God We Trust’ has nothing whatsoever to do with the establishment of religion. Its use is of a patriotic or ceremonial character,” the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals wrote in Aronow v. United States.
In truth, the addition of the phrase to currency and its elevation to national motto status had everything to do with religion.
“The motto ‘In God We Trust’ was placed on United States coins largely because of the increased religious sentiment existing during the Civil War,” according to the U.S. Department of the Treasury.” …..Please continue:

from the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow…..Craig Rucker, Director
So said Christiana Figueres, head of the UN’s global warming body, about a terrible new agreement being readied for a world summit in Paris just a few weeks from today.
The goal of the Paris summit in early December is to push through a new UN binding climate pact that will give international bureaucrats unprecedented control over America’s energy and economy.
As you may recall, the previous Kyoto treaty failed to produce a binding agreement for our nation. Now many at the UN believe Paris is their best chance yet to achieve what they call a “complete transformation of the economic structure of the world.”
President Obama, not surprisingly, is already on board. As recently as August, he said:
“This year, in Paris, has to be the year that the world finally reaches
an agreement to protect the one planet that we’ve got while we still can.”
So after years of trying and failing, President Obama, the UN and their allies in the radical Green movement now believe they can finally lock the U.S. and the world into a binding international climate agreement … and do it within just a few weeks!
This cannot stand. We need to speak up now and we need to speak up loud, while there is still time.
The UN’s climate deal is a treacherous one-way street. It would require the U.S. and other developed nations to drastically slash emissions and redistribute hundreds of billions of dollars. But it gives China, India and most of the world a pass until some far off time in the distant future, even if their emissions are greater than ours!
It is also based on junk science.
Indeed, there is nothing on the planet less “settled” than climate science.
As our petition explains, there has been no meaningful global warming since the turn of the millennium and at most a brief and minor warming above scientific baselines during the century past. The UN’s climate models have failed miserably.
This calls into serious question their entire apocalyptic theory.
Yet the public is daily being subjected to tales of catastrophic global warming that has not occurred.
You can be confident that the media won’t tell them the truth either. They will rubber stamp countless press releases from the UN and global warming pressure groups between now and December and regurgitate them as “news.”
President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry badly want this UN climate deal to succeed. Their foreign policy has been a disaster and they need something to claim as a legacy.
We can learn a lot from the Iran deal. Obama and Kerry sold our interests out and gave the Mullahs in Tehran everything they wanted. They created a less safe world so that they could falsely claim a victory.
Now with every rent-seeker, leftist NGO and international bureaucrat eager to cash in on this UN climate deal, Obama and Kerry are poised do it to us again!
Their UN climate agreement must be stopped.
It is horrendous. It is built on a foundation of junk science.
And its provisions will cost trillions of dollars, inflict heavy costs on poor and middle class families, cripple American businesses, and bring few or no health or ecological benefits.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD’S ADORABLE BABY HEARTS
by Laurie Higgins at Barbwire …article sent by Mark Waldeland:
“The Center for Medical Progress just released another undercover video exposé of a Planned Parenthood affiliate, this one in Austin, Texas. Dr. Amna Dermish, the sole abortionist at this Planned Parenthood abattoir, performs over 3,000 abortions per year on babies up to 21.6 gestational weeks. This video reveals both the barbarous nature of Dermish’s work and the vitiated state of her conscience…….”.read on:
