As the Mackinac Center explains, “the ‘window’ of politically acceptable options is primarily defined not by what politicians prefer, but rather by what they believe they can support and still win re-election.” The key to shifting policy lies not so much in changing politicians but in changing the terms of the debate. The Left — dominating the media, the academy, and pop culture — is unmatched at moving the Overton Window. Consider gay marriage, a subject once so far outside the mainstream that less than 20 years ago, Republicans and Democrats united to pass the Defense of Marriage Act to define marriage under federal law as the union of one man and one woman.

Now? That view is such an anathema that it’s difficult to get — or retain — a job in entire sectors of the economy if you openly hold to the traditionalist position on marriage. The Overton Window moved even faster on transgender rights. Ten years ago the notion that a man with emotional problems and breast implants could be named “Woman of the Year” was unthinkable. Now, in some quarters it’s just as unthinkable to refer to Bruce Jenner — Bruce Jenner! — as a man.

Where Do These GOP Doom Sayers about the Donald Come From?

Are established Republicans so entrenched in their government-paid urban suites that they covet their closets hiding from everyone except Karl Rove more than preaching conservatism?….(Rove a good guy over all,) “by the way”….(another of many Trumpisms I agree with).

I suspect my own Congressional Representative, Erik Paulsen does, but I’ll still vote for him unless the National Republicans never come out of their closets to help the Donald bury Hillary in 2016.

All conservatives must be free to share our views, not hide them.  There are so many issues of importance to return our America to be America again we have to find common ground and keep our carving knives against fellow conservatives deep in our kitchen drawers.  That includes listening carefully to our Donald’s words, that Donald who so wisely  thus far  is listing his major issues of grave national concern  ‘right on’ mostly along traditional GOP lines…..and encourage Donald to do likewise to his conservative competitors if and when the establishment candidates stop calling the Donald names.

Whatever happened to honest meaningful competition from  these Karl Rove Republicans?  Why don’t they help the Donald trust his GOP. In conservatism there are many roads to freedom,  Karl, not yours alone. Stop fearing feminist Marxist university rules of political correctness!! Your Donald will show you how. Help return America to America again by reintroducing freedom of speech.

Freedom from  fear for Americans these days starts at our borders by denying  entry to Islamist Shariah  terrorists plotting  to kill us in the name of their Allah……easy to do under Federal Constitutional Law, already called on for use by President Jimmy Carter during the Irani Crisis in 1979.  

Hey, fellow conservatives, cool it about our Trump. Help him learn to trust you.   Donald is even likely to come across a traditional JudeoChristian Presbyterian Church to join soon to begin to resecure his place with God by throwing the Marxist Presbytery’s Israel-haters somewhere under a bus where they will cause fewer people trouble.

A GOP Donald will even cut deeply into the annual 70% leftist-Democrat voting Jewish crowd when the proper time comes.

I agree that there might be a bit  too many Democrat Party strands in remaining Trump hair as he begins his campaign, but if Karl boy was a man, he’d have regular coffee and donut breakfasts with the Donald so they could get to know and like each other better.

Liar Queen Hillary is America’s enemy NOT OUR DONALD! Working together will send her into jail and/or retirement once and for all.
