A Very American Note from CJack

The following was a CJack response to an article, “Black Racism Matters”.

“The Civil War to liberate the slaves was all in vain? All that Union blood and treasure was for naught?…Abe Lincoln’s sacrifice forgotten?…Then let us partition the land, give each savage forty acres and a mule, and see what they’ll make of it. But I doubt they’ll ever realize their freedom was never cheap.

It reminds me of one of my Jewish relatives who owned a french bakery, a quiet man who at the end of each day would donate the unsold bread and pastries to a catholic home for the poor. Yet the same folks who benefited from his generosity were never kind to him. So one day I asked my father why was our relative so generous to folks who hated him. My old man took me to a nearby park where we sat as the sun was going down. He said: son, you must never forget that kindness uplifts the giver and ingratitude ruins the beggar. God will always be closer to those who give to the poor, than to those who take from the rich.

That’s a lesson I have never forgotten.
Best regards,

Thank you so much, CJack…..My mother graduated 8th grade in 1918 from a no-nonsense German Lutheran Church on the west side of St. Paul….in reality the south side from downtown St.. Paul south of the Mississippi.    She walked from home across the Wabasha bridge to downtown St. Paul to work as cashier at  Friedman Brothers Super Market, the largest such market in the Twin Cities at that time.    She became head cashier at the twelve lane check out counters at Friedman’s at age 16.

By the time I knew her she had memorized perhaps 100 cliches for the wise and pummeled me with them until I got married.  “Handsome is as handsome does”…..”You can’t tell a book by its cover”….referring to people, by the way.

“You can’t escape your God”, was the most powerful of them all….for she spent the first ten years of my life making sure I thought she was in cahoots with his being in order to keep me telling the Truth.   It worked….one reason I am a conservative.

We kids all shared clothes in those days before the War ended….hand-me-downs to family, Church, or neighbors, whomever they could fit or nearly fit.

Mpls StarTribune Long Time into Black Racism Matters

Despite a fairly recent purchase by  less bigoted lefty ownership and reporting, the Mpls StarTribune has for fifty years and more,  prided itself on protecting black racist matters’ wars against Truth.   Their ancestors would riot when the rioting was profitable….that is, when a Liberal was mayor…..or mayorette.

The Tribune’s whites would characterize and therefore report  whites of all sexes, shapes, colors and sizes are racist, born racist, made racist by  all of the advantages their whiteness provided.

Today, it is likely in these days with knowledge replaced by feelings and with it the disappearance  of Truth, the  Black Racism Matters people feel more advertisingly  about their fervent  view of white history  in our Twin Cities…when schools and churches  were segregated,  washroom facilities, movie houses, and many shops were racially separated, a place where white police brutally kept the downtrodden “Negro” in his, her place.

What if the feelings toted above arose from lies?   No matter, to today’s American leftists, feelings, NOT TRUTH, matter.

I was in my tenth year of teaching in Minneapolis nearly fifty years ago when the StarTribune ‘covered’ racist incidents….EVERY ONE OF THE BLACK RACISM MATTERS perpetrated…..black racism matters stones thrown at school buses carrying white students  to football games,  black racism matters guns toted by ninth graders in peaceful, civil, adult managed junior high school classes, beating up white students in shower stalls…..and  attacks t  Powderhorn Park where dozens of  black racism matters  hoodlums assaulted white adults and their children picnickers enjoying their family outings, the Strib calling in a race riot blaming whites for being white.

On two occasions Black Racism Matters hoodlums burnt down Minneapolis’ Plymouth Avenue business district….(similar in site to the burnings at Ferguson, Missouri a few years ago on television.)

The school system was selling peace and quiet in their school empire in hopes the lies would slow down the exiting of the civilized who could afford to be  exited from the system.    Teachers, both white and black, were threatened  with firings if they spoke to any outsiders about   black  racism matters  incidents.

I was a high school teacher in the city  fired officially for not filling out a form properly…..questions requiring   how I spent my summer time during school closings.   A judge threw out the school board ruling.   I was allowed to return, but without tenure, and was permanently discharged by February the  following year.   I taught a class called Modern Problems.    It was a mixed race class of well controlled  terrific kids, who were civilized and truthful about their sufferings under black racism matters in the flesh among other students and leftist teachers.   Leftist parents, the white kind, complained about my white racism for treating my students equally in my classroom.

Let’s see what the STrib has to offer today about the recent  misfortune in Falcon Heights:

Establishment GOP Lied About FBI Comey’s Honesty

GOP  establishment propaganda:   “Comey is so reliable, so honest, the absolute highest in integrity,  he as well as countless honorable FBI agents would join him would IMMEDIATELY resign to defend honesty and integrity of the institution as well as their office……”     Our Donald, presumptive GOP candidate for the presidency,  did not participate in such nonsense.

The False Narrative About Police Killing Blacks Led to Dallas Cop Killings!

Did the False Narrative About Police Killing Blacks Lead to the Dallas Cop Killings?

by Rick Moran   at American Thinker:

“Two tragic police shootings resulting in the deaths of two young black men have set the country on fire.  And the politicians, eager to score points with the minority community, may have unconciously enabled the snipers in Dallas, who killed 5 police officers and wounded 6 others.

Before any evidence was gathered at all, and before any facts involving the police killings were known, several politicians rushed to judgment and declared a racial motive for the tragedies.

President Obama:

“We have seen tragedies like this too many times. All of us as Americans should be troubled by these shootings, because these are not isolated incidents,” Obama said. “They’re symptomatic of a broader set of racial disparities that exist in our criminal justice system. ”

Furthermore, the president took on the issue of Black Lives Matter versus its counter, All Lives Matter, noting that while the latter is true, statistics prove that minorities are more likely to be victims.

That simply isn’t true, or at least it’s half-true, as I showed yesterday, writing about a new study that reveals that more whites die at the hands of police than minorities.  If you take into account minority representation, incidents of police shootings are higher…….”
