Chris Wallace: “One of the best speeches a president has ever given to Congress”

Chris Wallace: Trump Delivered One Of The Best Speeches In That Setting I’ve Heard Any President Give

by Tim Hains at realclearpolitics:

“‘Fox News Sunday’ anchor Chris Wallace puts President Trump’s speech to the joint session of Congress in historical context.

He said Donald Trump “reinvented” the joint address to Congress, and called it: “by far the best speech I’ve ever heard Donald Trump give.”

“It was one of the best speeches in that setting I’ve heard any president give,” he added……”   …….Please continue.  Newsman Wallace stars at the Fox Network usually browbeating Republicans no matter how small the brow, mostly to support the channel’s politics as “fair and balanced”.  Don’ miss his assessment:

  1. The following are healing, humble, and inspiring words by our 45th President, Donald J. Trump, as he concluded his address to a Joint Session of Congress, February 28, 2017:

“We are blessed to be joined tonight by Carryn Owens, the widow of a U.S. Navy Special Operator, Senior Chief William “Ryan” Owens. Ryan died as he lived: a warrior, and a hero –- battling against terrorism and securing our Nation.”

    “Believe in yourselves.”

    “Believe in your future.”

“And believe, once more, in America.”

“Thank you, God bless you, and God Bless these United States.”

Let us not forget our duty to God and Country, as we go about our daily lives. Though we are a blessed land, we must remain vigilant of those who continue to plot from their mansions, dark rooms, and tunnels, to transform our nation into a cauldron of intolerance, vice, and immorality. Right now, some of those who once occupied our nation’s highest office are busy orchestrating evil deeds to undermine our new president and his nascent administration; let us not permit them to succeed. And let us not be hesitant to enforce our laws to punish their treachery. No one in our country should be exempt from prosecution, for any act to overthrow the government of the United States.
