US President Donald Trump has confirmed he ordered a surprise airstrike of cruise missiles on a Syrian airfield in retaliation for Tuesday’s alleged chemical weapons attack.

Mr Trump said there was “no dispute” that the Assad regime had used a deadly nerve agent as he called on “all civilised nations in seeking to end the slaughter and bloodshed in Syria”.

In a televised statement, he said the deadly strike near Homs – the first direct American attack on the Syrian government of his presidency – was in the “vital national security interest”………Please click below to continue:

Neil Gorsuch has been confirmed by the Senate. The filibuster is dead. And no one knows what happens next.

On Thursday, Democrats successfully filibustered President Donald Trump’s nomination of Neil Gorsuch, the 49-year-old arch-conservative from the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado. Senate Republicans responded by changing the rules to require only a simple majority to confirm Supreme Court nominees, which was already the rule for all other federal judicial appointments. The immediate outcome was bad: Gorsuch was confirmed to a lifetime appointment to the Court on Friday. (Note:  It should be noted that manipulating choices for Supreme Court positions using the filibuster as a weapon has been a Democrat Party maneuver to poison true judges who seek Truth according to established law.   The three  “frumps for  feelings”, the three feminists presently occupying space on the Supreme Court, seem to  have little to no  interest regarding what the role of an honest Supreme Court judge truly is…..They prefer to determine their judicial decisions based on how leftish  they “feel” about the law.

Our American Supreme Court is NOT the  legislative body to decide the  laws of the land, but the  institution whose responsibility is to decide the highest cases of the land based upon established law….a condition difficult for feminists filled with feelings to accomplish.)
