Dear Friend:
They promised us “if you like your plan, you can keep it.” They lied.
Eight years ago today, Obamacare was signed into law after then Speaker Nancy Pelosi exclaimed we would find out what was in the bill after it was passed.
And after Obamacare became law, thousands of Minnesotans were forced off the health insurance plans they had chosen. Seniors have been hurt by millions cut from Medicare. Minnesota families have been it hurt with rising premiums, skyrocketing deductibles, and limited choices. In short we are paying more under Obamacare and getting less.
For years I lead the fight against Obamacare and its job-killing medical device tax. And while we were able to eliminate the medical device tax there is more work to be done.
We need to stop Washington from making important health care decisions – and return it where it belongs with doctors and patients. Giving you more control of your health care with more choices and lower costs.
Sincerely, Erik Paulsen, 3rd Minnesota Congressional District
