Boy thrown from MOA balcony has ‘zero brain damage,’ his pastor says

The 5-year-old boy who was thrown from a third-floor balcony at the Mall of America on April 12 shows no signs of brain damage, according to video posted on Facebook by his family’s church.

Mac Hammond, pastor of the Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, updated his congregation on the boy’s condition on Easter Sunday.

The boy, who Hammond identified as Landen, underwent an MRI last week to determine the extent of his injuries from the nearly 40-foot fall at the Bloomington mall, according to the video.

President Donald Trump held a “Make America Great Again” rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin Saturday night.

Trump riffed about his support for Saudi Arabia during his speech, saying: “You have people wanting to cut off Saudi Arabia. They bought $450 billion. I don’t want to lose them!,”

 

“But the military, we subsidize them,” he added. “I called the king. I like the king. I said, king! We’re losing our ass defending you, king, and you have a lot of money!”

He also talked about his decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, saying the U.S. could not comply with the agreement because it would be sued by Greenpeace, while China could.

“If Greenpeace goes to China, that’s the end of Greenpeace. You’re not going to see them again,” he said. “We adhere to these things. It’s a little different.”

Trump said the U.S. “would have lost our ass on that deal.”

“I say, take a look at Paris on a Saturday afternoon. How are they doing, good?” he asked. “How are the yellow vests doing?”

The Supreme Court of Sweden has ruled that a rape conviction is not a sufficient reason to deport a non-Swedish citizen:

Sweden’s highest court has overturned a decision to deport a convicted rapist after ruling there was no “extraordinary reason” to expel him from the country.

Two lower courts had ruled that the man, a 33-year-old Somali citizen, should be deported after serving a jail sentence for rape, but the Supreme Court overturned this decision while extending his jail sentence by four months. The reason for ruling against deportation was that his ties to Sweden were considered to be strong, although two of the five Supreme Court justices argued the seriousness of the crime outweighed this and that he should be expelled.

The man was first found guilty of rape by Linköping District Court, after he forced himself on a woman he did not know while they both stayed overnight at a mutual friend’s apartment.

Perpetrators of serious crimes can be expelled from Sweden as part of their punishment if they do not hold Swedish citizenship.

The defendant originally was sentenced to one year and ten months in prison. The Supreme Court extended his sentence to two years and two months, and also ordered him to pay the victim the equivalent of $12,070. The defendant had prior convictions for “petty drugs offences, driving offences, and causing bodily harm.”

Told of the Supreme Court’s decision, the victim said it was “completely insane.” She is right, but Sweden appears to be a society that is bent on self-destruction.

Swedes Don’t Care About Rape

Note:   I was born and raised Christian in a rather wealthy  Jewish minority community of the day in Minnesota’s state capital in 1934 to 1954 when I moved to live near the University of Minnesota the end of my sophomore year as a student there.

I was very lucky for learning knowledge to become a better God-fearing JudeoChristian American citizen was the  primary goal of existence  in the elementary and secondary  public schools I attended.   Teachers, mostly old maid school marms were very well educated, well disciplined, in a very male-controlled scholastic environment.   Two plus two always equaled four regardless of the mood of the human female animals.

Human females were supposed to become loving and caring  Mothers in a family; human  males to be protecting and providing Fathers.

It was taught culturally a grievous and unforgiving sin in those years for our Christian males, scholastic or otherwise to impregnate any  human female out of wedlock, period.  I did learn from my Jewish buddies early on  however, that in  their community  this  “sin” would be grievous  only if they abused Jewish gals.   Just a note in history!  ghr
