Our American War Begins in Georgia?

Yesterday, I posted a report by a well-placed Republican source about the run-off elections in Georgia, his home state. I followed up with my source by asking two questions. First, are the attacks on Raphael Warnock’s leftism and the scandalous way he ran a camp resonating? Second, is the controversy over the stimulus bill a factor in the race?

My source graciously answered both questions and provided a summation of the race, as he sees it:

On Warnock’s leftism, no it’s not resonating. I think the term “socialist” and “radical” have been thrown around so often over the last few years, they have lost their bite. In my view, the campaigns and PACs are running an “inside baseball” campaign with messaging so specific (“court packing” and other terms most voters don’t even understand) that voters don’t know which way is up.

Also, Warnock is warm and likable in his 30 second commercials. They literally have a commercial about how he loves puppies. It’s hard to label someone you think looks nice as Fidel Castro.

The camp, his ex-wife on video saying he’s a good actor, etc, are all likely washed out by the media’s refusal to cover them. They are breathlessly obsessed over whether Loeffler will call Biden “President Elect”, and not concerned with Warnock’s scandals and America-hating ideology.

Georgia has the highest black population in the country at 32%, so identity politics is also alive and well. Ossoff has a level of talent in that he is well spoken, but he also comes off as smug to me and others I have talked to. Perdue, for some reason, refused to debate him, so a few weeks ago Ossoff debated an empty podium—a strategic blunder in my view.

On my way to work this morning, I heard a fresh commercial about Warnock supporting stimulus and Loeffler “refusing to take a stand”, so it’s getting out there, but hard to know what’s getting traction at this point. There are also billboards on the highways saying “Loeffler and Perdue stole from you and your family” referring to stimulus.

In the end, I think Georgia is a 50/50 state right now after massive population growth over the past 10 years. We know in 2018 those who had moved here in the previous 5 years voted 2-1 for Abrams.

We have an absurdly generous film tax credit here, where we pay Hollywood 30 cents on the dollar to make movies here, and these policies, along with failing economies in blue states, have caused significant population growth. So, in a 50/50 state where some percentage of Republicans are refusing to vote because they think their vote won’t count, it’s not hard to figure out what will happen.

Pelosi Trouble in More Trouble….It’s About Time She’s Caught!

Hmmm: Why Did Two New House Dems Refuse To Endorse Pelosi’s Bid For Speaker?

Now that Donald Trump has signed the omnibus/relief bill, this is all that remains for suspense outside of Georgia. Even then, how much suspense could there be in an election with only one candidate? Nancy Pelosi wrapped up the caucus endorsement for speaker last month without any opponent, mostly because no one else really wanted the job when it came along with an impossible-to-corral nine-seat majority. Not only did no Democrat challenge Pelosi, no one challenged Majority Leader Steny Hoyer or Majority Whip James Clyburn, either.

So why are these two incoming House Democrats balking at endorsing their nominee for speaker? CNN’s Dana Bash asked progressive newcomers Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman whether they plan to support Pelosi’s bid. They provided almost identical versions of authentic Beltway gibberish while refusing to answer:

ASH: And real quick, before I let you both go, something looking ahead at that you’re both going to have to vote on, which is the speaker of the House. Congresswoman-elect Bush, will you vote for Nancy Pelosi as speaker?

BUSH:  (LAUGHTER) What I’m going to do is make sure that the voices of the people of Saint Louis are heard and that we have what we need. And so you will find out then.

BASH: That’s not a yes.

BUSH: I’m working with my community. I’m working with my community.

BASH: OK. And, congressman-elect Bowman, will you vote for Nancy Pelosi as speaker?

BOWMAN: So, you will find out when my vote is tallied, and, again, organizing with our community to figure out what’s best.

“Working with my community” is Washington double-speak for “I don’t really want to answer this question.” But why? Yes, yes, hard-Left progressives might not be totally happy with Pelosi, but she beats the theoretical alternative, especially after what happened in 2020’s House races. Pelosi became the only speaker in decades, or perhaps ever, to lose House seats in an election in which her party’s nominee won a first term as president. Why? Voters — in the kind of high-turnout election that normally favors Democrats — rejected the party’s sharp turn to the Left all the way down the ballot. Had they not nominated a comfortable old shoe for the presidency, they’d be looking at a second Trump term as well. If the House Democratic caucus had any sense at all, they’d have rallied behind a middle-America suburban Democrat like Tim Ryan for the next speakership.

Anyway, the only alternative is theoretical. So why not just admit that they will have little choice but to vote for Pelosi? Bowman, Bush, and the rest of the progressive caucus wants to use that narrow majority to pressure Pelosi, Hoyer, and Clyburn to adopt the hard-Left agenda in 2021-22. If Pelosi loses more than nine Democrats — or if five flip to vote for Kevin McCarthy on the floor — Pelosi will end up getting humiliated, perhaps badly enough to force her resignation. If they can organize well enough to push the election to a second ballot on the House floor, Pelosi and her leadership slate might be forced to withdraw and progressives can push for a harder-Left replacement. It’s not a likely outcome, but by playing coy now, the two can take advantage of whatever leverage they have.

What do Bowman and Bush want? Bash gets Bowman to cough it up at the end:

BOWMAN: We got to bring HR-40 to the floor for a vote. We need reparations for the African-American community.

BOWMAN: We need a federal jobs guarantee. We need Medicare for all.

The chances of any of those proposals getting through Congress are entirely nil, regardless of who gets elected speaker. Senate Republicans can and will easily bottle it up regardless of whether they end up controlling the upper chamber, especially with Joe Manchin opposing both radical proposals and an end to the legislative filibuster. The Biden administration will run for the hills, hoping instead to reposition their party back to the center after watching all of the opportunities progressives squandered in 2020. It would set a torch to all of their plans to partner with moderates in the GOP for some low-hanging policy fruit before the midterms. And House Democrats will set the stage for endless GOP attacks on their radical agenda in the midterm elections. The only mystery will be whether Democrats can contain their losses to just 40 seats or less.

If Bowman, Bush, and other progressives stick to their guns, though, Pelosi will end up stuck in an impossible situation. Because she can’t possibly advance that agenda next year, Peloso might end up getting left short of a majority in her speaker election after all. If Bowman and Bush are bluffing, they’re going to look ridiculous next week for this pussyfooting with Bash. Either way, Republicans need only do one thing … pass the popcorn.

Has America’s Godfearing Culture of Truth and Knowledge Come to Its End?

by Glenn H. Ray:

When Truth no longer has any meaning to a people, FREEDOM in the world or that nation has disappeared….. for TYRANTS reign.

Here, in our today’s fascistic Dem rule that has come to “power and play” over the past twelve years organized by OBAMA AND PELOSI CORRUPTION we have come to a CRISIS IN AMERICA.

I was born in 1934, in the era of the Great Depression and raised in its disorder, the Second World War, and the Korean War, and the Soviet and Chinese Communist fascist powers threatening human civility and freedom. I was raised JudeoChristian and taught in public schools by learned teachers, nearly all women from k-12, and all male of 700 quarters of college and university credit accumulating a number of degrees when degrees used to mean something….I studied Russian from the very beginning of my college life to its end. I had expected trouble with the fascist left USSR and Mao’s Horror, China.

I began teaching high school Russian in 1960….after two years of Army service. I had older cousins who had survived four years in the second World War. In 1966 I received a study grant from teaching Russian to join twenty five other American High School Russian teachers to spend August of 1966 in the Soviet Union. The Russians needed money….Americans needed linguists in Russian. What a month it was! I still carry its dreams.

I returned to the USSR in 1990 as its fascist police state decay was beginning to crumble. A group of Christian Churches in Minnesota’s Anoka County had collected several hundred thousand dollars to hand to Kiev’s victims at Chernobyl’s hospitals. I was invited to join because of my Russian.

Thirty years later we Americans have been cursed with fascistic leftism with the rise of Barack Hussein Obama and crooked Joseph Biden – Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi crowd….where TRUTH no longer has meaning. It’s not a Democratic Party anymore….Its power rises from its DISHONESTY….THE STORIES IN CONCOCTS AND SELLS in PBS, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, ABC, CNN, and often even at regular FOX….

Then there is the fascistic news industry dominating soviet like fascism, where TRUTH HAS NO MEANING WHATSOEVER, as long as the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, MPLS Tribune and BIG TECH fascists led by FACEBOOK billionaire Mark Zuckerberg are around.

….and then there is trillionaire, foreigner fascist left George Soros sabotaging Uncle Sam every day!!!

What About the Dems’ Election Fraud?

What Denying Election Fraud Accomplishes

By Mark Andrew Dwyer at American Thinker:

There were voluminous reports, from eyewitnesses and experts, of widespread election fraud in the so-called battle states and beyond.  Specific allegations were made, and evidence of election rules violations and statistical anomalies were collected.  Yet the courts refused to listen to virtually all witnesses and experts, rejected most of the evidence, and refused to subpoena more evidence requested by the plaintiffs.  Many state government officials and some top representatives of companies supplying voting machines and software categorically denied any election fraud.

So, on the one hand, there is plenty of evidence strongly suggesting that the widely observed election fraud took place during the 2020 presidential elections.  On the other hand, all we have are assurances of the election fraud–deniers that there was no election fraud, which were later changed to admissions that although election fraud did take place, it wasn’t large enough to sway the results.  No verifiable facts that would clearly invalidate the specific election fraud allegations were presented to the public as of the time of this writing, while quite a lot of obstruction of investigations, like denials to subject the vote-counting software and hardware to examination by independent experts, took place.  Some of this obstruction had all the appearances of a cover-up.

I must say that anyone who, knowing the above, claims that Joe Biden has received required majorities of legitimate votes to become a duly elected president is either stupid or willing to cover up the truth about the rigged elections that we have allowed to continue in America.

I am not going to analyze the stupid.  However, I would like to look into possible reasons why an intelligent observer would opt for cover-up of election fraud if it did take place.

Reason 1: The election fraud–denier wanted President Trump to be removed from the Oval Office.

There were many individuals and groups who for more than four years have been desperately trying to stop Mr. Trump from becoming the president in 2016 and then, after his inauguration, to remove him by any means available.  False charges of his collusion with Russia and other impeachable offenses were being thrown on him and investigated vigorously for most of his term as the president, to the tune of mass propaganda from the majority of the “mainstream” media portraying him as a monster, a dictator, a profiteer, a destroyer of the world order, and such.  Obviously, the anti-Trumpers are not going to allow anybody to question the validity of the election of Mr. Joe Biden.

Reason 2: The election fraud denier-wanted a Democrat to be elected as the president.

Although any individual voter is free to vote for whomever he wants, when government officers let their personal political preferences override their official duty, then prerequisites for corruption are met.  For instance, if judges or election officials refuse to seriously consider election fraud because of their affiliation with or support of the Democrat Party, then corruption has taken place.  Not that the Democrat Party has a monopoly on this kind of wrongdoing, but it has gained notoriety as the party that cheats the most and the best.

Reason 3: The election fraud–denier was afraid of violence that investigation of election fraud may lead to.

Unfortunately, many of those in positions of power who could order serious and impartial investigations of the alleged election fraud and possible overturning of the results, if proven fraudulent or invalid, were concerned with a threat of violent riots of left’s militant organizations, like BLM and  Antifa. Some could have been trying to save our country from a civil war or something equally horrible, while others were afraid for their own safety.  As much as I disagreed with their decision to support the cover-up of election fraud, their position had a dose of rationality.

Imagine that you are a judge or a justice, and you have a family to feed and protect.  Wouldn’t you be concerned that your controversial judgment may irritate BLM or Antifa into bringing their “protests” to your neighborhood and trying to harm your spouse and your children or burn down your home?  It seems likely that without violence by BLM and Antifa earlier this year, the well orchestrated election fraud would not have stood a chance to be left uninvestigated.  If a thorough investigation proved that the results were invalid, Mr. Joe Biden would not stand a chance of being declared the winner.

The above realization implies that we are seeing a dawn of mobocracy in the U.S. as a replacement for our Constitutional Republic as a form of government.  That spells out bad news for virtually everyone, including even the mobsters.  We need brave leaders who will put the safety of law-abiding Americans in front of these leaders’ personal safety and political interest.

Reason 4: The election fraud–denier wants to be “pragmatic” — that is, to accept whatever happened and go along with whatever comes out of it.

By doing so, the election fraud–denier makes himself a perfect target for all kinds of predators, social parasites, and control freaks.  He does not realize that losing a battle does not require capitulation of the war, and that losing a war does not require surrendering the nation to the hostile power that waged it.  Some election fraud–deniers of this kind go even as far as to insist that if we cannot (or don’t want to) fight them (the election fraudsters and power-grabbers), then we may as well join them.  That may be a nice little trick that may work, to some extent, in low-stage games, but not when submission of a once free people to the power of the government that is not accountable to them is at stake.  Such submission is almost always permanent, and the longer it lasts, the more difficult it is to abolish. Clearly, if the president is determined not by the will of the people, as prescribed in the Constitution, but by rigged elections under control of determined and ruthless cabal, then the president, and other elected officials, is accountable to the cabal and not to the voters.

Reason 5: The election-fraud denier was concerned that any serious investigation of election fraud might erode public trust in our elections.

Surely, many politicians who were not enthusiastic about how the elections 2020 were carried on, wanted to protect a”higher good,” a public trust that our elections are free, fair, and honest.  As much as such may seem on its surface a noble concern, it is based on a fallacy. It presupposes that public trust in elections integrity is far more important that the actual integrity of the elections, which it is not.  For why would We the People agree to be cheated of our right to elect the president of our choice just to maintain appearances that we were not cheated of that fundamental right? True, our Constitutional Republic has not been perfect, yet so many of us wholeheartedly support it. But among other strengths, it has an exceptional ability to self-repair.   That is definitely not a feature of any rigged election system; once in place, it has a natural tendency to get worse and worse until it is overthrown by its victims — a costly and destructive option that is less than certain to deliver the desirable results.

Moreover, concerns that any serious investigation of election fraud might erode public trust in our elections are in many cases hypocritical, as they often come from the very groups and individuals who were not concerned with weakening of the presidency by endless investigations of false charges against Trump or who spread the mass anti-Trump propaganda that grossly undermined public trust in the Office of the President of the U.S.

Why would we, without serious and thorough investigation, accept categorical assurances by election fraud–deniers despite mounting evidence that organized election fraud took place in 2020 and was widespread, while President Trump’s categorical assurances that he did not collude with Russians were deemed not enough so that all the false allegations against him had to be seriously and thoroughly investigated?

There is no good reason for us to accept these assurances. The Constitutional laws and processes that make this Republic have been weaponized to facilitate a grab of sweeping power by the transnational cabal that has long considered the U.S. as an obstacle to imposition of their rule over the world. Never mind that America’s $20+ trillion a year economy for grabs by the said control freaks would have been a sufficient reason in its own right. Now, it’s up to us, the American people, to resist the cabal and defend our freedom and the Constitution that stands for it.

As George Orwell wrote in 1984, “[w]e know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it.”  So will our future rulers not relinquish the power they grabbed with 2020 election fraud, if we let them have their way?

And So The Covid Cases Continue On!

Photos: A really good way to catch COVID, for free

By Monica Showalter at American Thinker:

In Southern California, COVID cases are exploding, and not surprisingly, it’s hit a lot of families, including mine.

So when a San Diego County contract tracer called up and advised me to wear a mask inside my home at all times, even though I’d been breathing the same air as everyone else and nevertheless had no symptoms, I thought it might be a good course to take a COVID test. The County of San Diego offered them at several locations for free. They’d collect data of course, but it seemed low risk in exchange for some important information. Was I in for a surprise.

I chose the location at the University of San Diego, held near a large, out-of-the-way, double-sized parking lot, near the bottom of its hilltop, and the County operation there was open on a Sunday.

Ironically, it wasn’t the safest setting you’d expect. For an operation about containing a pandemic, actually, it was completely packed.

Hundreds, maybe thousands, stood in line to get tested. The parking lot was so full, all the way back to the improvised gravel, that it was a challenge to find a spot.

Sure, social distancing was done, to correct six-foot specifications, and everyone in the long, long, line, was very cooperative, quite unlike what you see at Target, Costco and WalMart. Nobody needed to be told to wear a mask, everyone had one. And the officials, both those policing the lines, taking the intake data, and administering the test were all cheerful, courteous, and polite.

A couple of photos – I’ve whited all the visible faces out:

But even with all those precautions, it was too much. The exposure in the line extended for an hour and a half and outside was not so bad, but some of it was inside, in a semi-closed garage.

Inside the structure, waiting in line, I could feel the tickle of disease in my nose and in the air. Six-feet is probably fine for most occasions but there’s little movement in a line and with big crowds, it amounts to extended exposure.

All I could think was that with Christmas-crush crowds like these, not all that different from what you see in a mall, if you didn’t have COVID going in, you probably might coming out. The quarters seemed too close for extended exposure.

When I woke this morning, I had a very sore throat, something I hadn’t had before, not like this.

Which raises questions on how much county officials presumably working to contain the spread of COVID really know. Long lines, extended exposure, some waiting inside, it seems outright ideal conditions for catching COVID, even with everyone wearing flimsy non-medical-grade masks. Are the officials dismissing everyone in line as already having COVID? A lot of people in line seeking the free test probably did have it. Their presence there could well have spread it to those who didn’t.

Could they have made it a bit safer than it seemed as not? It seems possible – in one way, by not holding it inside. The large crowds coming in at once were an issue, too. Might it not make sense to “meter” entries, perhaps to one-hour windows, as some testing places do, instead of take all comers? That might make the event safer.

For all the complaints and fears about voting lines, the long lines at the COVID testing sites seem strikingly unaddressed. Is it just politics that activates press scrutiny? Why is no one asking about this?

As for me, with my sore throat, I understand it’s five days incubation to set a COVID infection. Regardless of what my test shows, available by email from the County in two to four days, I hope I can fend this new symptom off with a heavy dose of Vitamin C, D, and zinc.

The Fascist Dems’ War Against America!

Losing our religion… history… and freedom

By Eric Utter at American Thinker:

The U.S. has, simultaneously, come unmoored from its Judeo-Christian origins, eschewed its shared history and traditions, and lost its MoJo, its Johnson, its testosterone. (The latter may seem incongruous with the former, but it is not.) We have been so accommodating to everyone and everything but ourselves and our way of life that we have forgotten who we are. We do not want to offend those who wash up on our shores, so we subject ourselves to extremes of political correctness and identity politics, even as we give them money and a chance. In doing so, we have lost our shared identity, our cohesiveness, our religiosity… and our soul.

God created man and woman distinctly and with purpose. “Male and female He created them.” He said “Be fruitful and increase in number”… and take dominion over the animals and every living creature. Today, we don’t believe there are distinct genders, and can’t tell if we are men or women — or any one of an infinite number of genders on a spectrum. We permit hundreds of thousands of abortions a year but feel bad swatting a mosquito or killing a mouse. It is not a coincidence that we are losing belief in ourselves as we are losing belief in God.

We have put up with the preposterous debasing of our Founders and watched quietly as their statues have been vandalized, destroyed or removed. We have meekly allowed our history to be rewritten and our Constitution and Bill of Rights to be assaulted.

We have ‘progressed’ from “Gunsmoke,” “The Magnificent Seven,” and “Father Knows Best” to “The View,” “Oprah,” and “Heather Has Two Mommies.” The Marlboro Man is out, the metrosexual is in. John Wayne is mocked for his ‘toxic masculinity,’ transgenders are reading to our elementary school kids.

When a society loses either its religious heritage, its shared history and identity, or its collective cojones, its continued existence becomes problematic. When it loses two of the three, it will fall, whether sooner or later. When it loses all three simultaneously, it will effectively be gone in the cosmic blink of an eye.

Irreligious, mis-educated, feminine… and infantilized. That’s us.

As a result, we are more diverse in superficial ways, like race, than ever before. But less diverse in thought.

And freedom.

Where Is Our Nation’s Supreme Court When Needed?

A Supreme Court in Hiding is Dangerous for Our Country

By Jerome Michaels at American Thinker:

In accordance with Art VI of the Constitution, every sitting Supreme Court justice has taken an oath swearing that he or she will “support this Constitution.” The Constitution the justices have sworn to protect is predicated upon free and fair elections so that the government reflects the will of the People. When the justices refuse to protect election integrity, they are violating their sworn oath and putting our constitutional republic at grave risk.

I recently wrote a suggested Supreme Court opinion. It said the Court must decide “credible and significant” claims of election wrongdoing on their merits before elected officials are sworn in—-except for the President, where the Constitution provides a fallback political method of election. My article suggested what the Supreme Court should do. This article discusses their inaction and warns of the consequences if the justices continue to run and hide.

Americans paying attention to the 2020 Election must be baffled by our courts. A thousand sworn statements about election wrongdoing, bizarre 4 a.m. “vote spikes” for one candidate, hundreds of thousands of ballots driven from one state to the another, counting machines with 68% error rates, etc., etc. Such claims should at least get a day in court.

Yet so far, they can’t get a sniff. With few exceptions, no state or federal court in our country has had the courage to look at the merits of these claims. The most significant challenge to our Constitutional Republic since the first Civil War can’t get a parking ticket.

The Pennsylvania Supremes liked “laches” or simply put, “you waited too long.” The claim asserted was simple—- the Pennsylvania Constitution does not authorize mail-in voting so the legislature can’t do it. (One brave judge said “good point” and was promptly swept away by her betters). The Pennsylvania Supremes said you had to sue before the election. Of course, if you had, they would have said “go away you haven’t been injured.” Welcome to the legal Land of Oz.

The Michigan Federal Court liked a different spin on “too late.” They used “mootness” which means “too late because the thing you feared already happened and this court can’t fix it now.” While the Plaintiff had been frantically waving his arms begging the courts to stop certification, the political forces in Michigan went ahead and certified anyhow as the courts snoozed. Sorry, bub — too late.

The free and fair election crowd went for a positive spin — “No problem; doesn’t matter.” The newly minted, conservative Supreme Court is the main game. Lower courts getting out of the way is much like the Chicago Bulls clearing the other kind of court so Michael Jordan could take the last shot.

In a stroke of brilliance every non-brainwashed citizen could see, the State of Texas stepped up with the answer. An original complaint to the Supreme Court where the States that followed their election laws sued the States that violated theirs. The claim was also simple — we jointly elect the President as a group of 50 States and our vote is being nullified since four States cheated. The argument was especially strong because if results from the four cheating States were reversed the election result changed.

Since State vs. State is an original complaint to the Supreme Court (not an appeal) the Court had the flexibility to handle it any way they wanted. Twenty-three other States and the campaigns joined in, making it a perfect solution because almost all the players were present and the Court could do whatever was right.

Well, the Supreme Court justices decided to do the one thing that wasn’t right — they ran and hid. “Texas, you have no standing to complain about another State violating its own laws.” What?

The Constitution specifically says States suing other States can file Original Complaints with the Supreme Court. And while, generally, it may be true one State can’t complain about another State violating its own laws—-what in the world does that have to do with a situation where the 50 States jointly elect a President? With all due (rapidly diminishing) respect, what the Supreme Court said is utter nonsense. In the most important game in history, Michael took the ball, put it down on the court, and walked away as time ran out.

So, what are we seeing and where is this going? Simply put, judges are meek by nature and we are seeing the biggest “judicial deer in the headlights”in our history. It’s the nature of the beast. After all, who become judges? Former lawyers. Lawyers fight for a living. They fight for clients, they fight with partners, and they fight each other in cases.

When these lawyers have had enough fighting (or are not very good at it) they become judges. Once ensconced on that raised podium, a judge tries like crazy to avoid the fighting.

Ninety-plus percent of cases settle. Why? The judges and the system browbeat parties and their attorneys to avoid the fight with forced mediation and mandatory settlement conferences. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it does reflect the judges’ desire to be left alone. The “RBG as a crusading force for good” image is either a fantasy or a rare exception.

Make no mistake—-the American court system is terrified by the 2020 Election lawsuit claims. Think about it. If substantially proven, the claims establish that one of the major political parties mounted a coordinated effort to illegally steal a Presidential election. The courts are hiding under their collective beds and hoping the bad orange man will just go away. To reinforce this natural fear of conflict, the Left has seeded this ground with doxxing, cancel culture, and riots by Antifa and BLM.

With the 2020 election, there will be grave consequences following the Supreme Court’s insistence on being left alone. Earlier, I focused on the beginning section of the Declaration of Independence, the part saying a just government only exists with the consent of the People through free and fair elections.

The next part of the Declaration has a much darker side which the Supreme Court may bring into play if it stays in its rabbit hole. The Declaration is plain: The People have a duty to overthrow the government if it is not justly based on their collective consent. That duty reaches a critical stage when all the institutions fail them. The Supreme Court may have been our last hope. So far, the justices have utterly failed us.

Assuming the Supreme Court continues to avoid its primary reason for living — protecting the Constitution — can we expect a Second Declaration of Independence, followed by conflict, to address this fundamental failure? I hope not. That is the last thing any of us should wish.

Fortunately, the Supreme Court has the power to avoid such an outcome by protecting election integrity. If it does not and, instead, completes the failure of our political and judicial institutions, history will record that the Supreme Court’s dereliction was a major cause of any conflict that follows. At the moment the People need them most, the Justices are running and hiding. Disgraceful. They must step up to keep the future of our Country safe and whole.

The Crooks, Joe and Son, Top Criminals in Their Corruption in the Ukraine!

Ukraine press conference explicitly ties Hunter and Joe Biden to corruption

By Andrea Widburg at American Thinker:

A video from a press conference in Ukraine is going viral.  It is the follow-up to a video press conference that Ukraine released over a year ago, in which members of the Ukraine Parliament demanded that President Zelensky and President Trump investigate billions of dollars of corruption in Ukraine that is tied to the U.S.  The newly released video is meant to provide documentary and eyewitness information about the corruption — and the Biden family figures prominently in the story.

The video is long — over an hour — and not all of it involves the Biden family. This post quotes those portions of the press conference that address Biden family corruption.  The gist of it is that, while Democrats obsess about Trump’s purported criminality, despite the absence of any evidence, their chosen standard-bearer is extraordinarily corrupt.

Indeed, I would argue that Biden is one of the most corrupt politicians ever in America.  In the past, corrupt politicians have confined themselves to playing dirty in their own backyard, making money from deals with fellow Americans.

I believe that Biden is the first person ever to serve in the highest reaches of government — the Senate and the vice presidency — who sold his country out to the highest foreign bidders.  It’s an insult to everything America has stood for since its inception that massive election fraud might allow this person to set foot in the Oval Office.

With that intro, here’s the video, followed by quotations from the video regarding Joe and Hunter Biden.  I recommend Nabu Leaks for more information, enlarged pictures of the relevant documents naming the Bidens, audio of phone calls between Biden and former President Poroshenko after Trump won the election, and the full transcript of the press conference.

From the introduction:

At one of the first press conferences about a year ago, we showed bank transactions for hundreds of thousands of dollars to the family of former US Vice President Joe Biden, namely to his son Robert Hunter Biden. The latter was a member of the board of directors of the infamous gas production company Burisma.

Burisma belongs to the fugitive Yanukovych-era minister Mykola Zlochevsky.

The inclusion of Biden in the Burisma leadership and payment for his services is nothing more than a political cover that protected Zlochevsky from the Ukrainian law, namely from the criminal code.

Two foreign witnesses whose identities are protected — Witness 1 and Witness 2 — came forward to testify about the facts of the case. Konstantyn Kulyk, the Head of the Group of Prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, explained what the witnesses offered:

One quote from a statement by a Witness:

“All the described financial transactions were fictitious. And a lot of money was paid in Ukraine so that the state authorities turned a blind eye to it.”

In the period from November 2014 to October 2015, the Witnesses noticed strange recurring payments that, at the direction of Oleh Nelin (Zlochevsky’s assistant in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine), were sent from the account of BURISMA HOLDINGS LTD, which was opened for the personal needs of Mykola Zlochevsky, in the Latvian PrivatBank AS to the account of the American company ROSEMONT SENECA BONAI LLC.

The witnesses drew attention to these payments since about 20 times the same uneven amount was recurring — $83,333.33 as payment for consulting services.

In the period from November 2014 to October 2015, the money stolen from Ukrainians, located on account of BURISMA HOLDINGS LTD with the Latvian PrivatBank AS, was transferred to the account of ROSEMONT SENECA BONAI LLC in the American bank MORGAN STANLEY in payments in total amounting to $3.4 million for consulting services.

This is a payment for the political “cover” that Biden provided to Zlochevsky.

The video offers a graphic image showing the flow of money and favors:

Andrii Derkach picked up the narrative.  He focused on Joe Biden’s conversations with former president Poroshenko when Viktor Shokin, a prosecutor, started looking into Zlochevsky’s graft.  As we all know, Biden openly boasted about holding up money from the U.S. unless Poroshenko fired Shokin.

The press conference included audio from a November 16, 2016 conversation between Biden and Poroshenko.  Biden was wheeling and dealing for influence and money — and conducting foreign policy behind Trump’s back.  The men spoke again in February 2017, at which time Biden smothered Poroshenko with fulsome compliments.

Ukraine’s government is gunning for Joe Biden.  The Ukrainians know that Biden helped prop up a corrupt government in their country and that he profited mightily from doing so.  No wonder this video has gone viral.

The Most Abused Man in America Is The One Americans Admire Most!

In a new Gallup poll, 18 percent of Americans name President Trump as the man they admire most. No one else reaches that mark. Former president Obama comes the closest at 15 percent.

The sitting president usually comes in first in this poll, which Gallup has taken for decades. But throughout most of his presidency, Trump trailed Obama. (The two men tied last year.) In fact, Obama has been at the top of the list for the past 12 years, a run that ties Dwight Eisenhower for the longest in the survey’s long history.

I think Obama dropped to second this year because he had to share liberal votes with Joe Biden. The president-elect came in a distant third with 6 percent. Anthony Fauci and Pope Francis round out the top five with 3 percent and 2 percent, respectively.

To me, the most interesting result is that 48 percent of Republicans named Trump the man they most admire. You can look at this in two ways.

On the one hand, a Republican president should, perhaps, be even more admired by Republican voters. On the other hand, no other figure was named “most admired” by more than 2 percent of the Republicans surveyed.

If Trump decides to run in 2024, he will be the clear frontrunner, it seems to me.

On the female side of the Gallup survey, Michelle Obama remains most admired. She was named as such by 10 percent of respondents. Kamala Harris was second at 6 percent, followed by Melania Trump at 4 percent.

Jill Biden did not crack the top ten, her doctorate notwithstanding. In fact, Dr. Jill didn’t reach the 1 percent mark.

Among those more admired than Jill Biden are non-doctors Dolly Parton, Betty White, Jacinda Ardern, and even Gretchen Whitmer.

Jill Biden will do better next year, I’m sure — with extra points if she stops insisting on the “Dr.” appellation.

“There’s No Scientific Basis For Shuttering Schools”

by Mollie Hemingway at the Federalist:

.“There is no scientific basis for shuttering schools. There is no scientific basis for shuttering restaurants for the reasons that you already alleged,” she continued, noting that restaurants in New York were shut down for just over a 1 percent virus transmission rate.

While states such as California and New York have turned to strict lockdowns and restrictions on activities, Hemingway said these restrictions have caused great harm to people and businesses.

“The reality is this is a virus. It’s going to behave as a virus,” Hemingway concluded. “And it is not something as simple as what we have been told will keep these things under control, whether it’s mask mandates or destroying small businesses so these large corporations can flourish.”
