Is Francis P. Sempa A FASCIST FOR AMERICA?

March 3, 2022

How Mississippi could cause World War III

By Francis P. Sempa at American Thinker:

Mississippi senator Roger Wicker may be the most dangerous officeholder in Washington.  A member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Wicker keeps publicly making proposals that would effectively have the United States at war with Russia.  His latest proposal, as reported in the HuffPost and National Review Online, is for the United States and “a strong coalition of like-minded nations” to consider imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine.  He is now the second member of Congress — joining GOP Representative Adam Kinzinger — to recommend the no-fly zone idea.  Kinzinger recently suggested on social media that a no-fly zone over Ukraine would “give the heroic Ukrainians a fair fight.”

Senator Wicker, according to the HuffPost, explained his support for the no-fly zone as follows: “Tens of thousands of women and children fleeing from Kyiv west have created a humanitarian situation that the international community needs to step in and be involved in.”  Previously, Senator Wicker suggested sending U.S. ground forces to Ukraine and said that in responding to Russian aggression in Ukraine that “nothing should be taken off the table,” including a nuclear first strike.

Fortunately, both Wicker’s colleagues in the Senate and the Biden administration swiftly distanced themselves from his proposal.  But Wicker is in line to become the ranking Republican on the Armed Services Committee — and if the GOP takes back the Senate in 2023, he will likely chair the committee.  (The current ranking GOP member of the committee, Senator James Inhofe, has announced his retirement.)  It is doubtful that the GOP leader, Mitch McConnell, will do anything about this.

Have Senator Wicker and other war-mongers — yes, war-mongers — not learned from history?  When a great power meddles in a regional war, as in 1914 in the Balkans, the war usually escalates and widens.  In 1914, what German chancellor Otto von Bismarck once termed “some damned foolish thing in the Balkans” led to the cataclysm of the First World War.  It is that analogy rather than “Munich” or the “domino theory” that should concern us the most.

Perhaps Senator Wicker’s Mississippi constituents can send him packing in 2024 (when he is up for re-election).  Until then, he should be moved to Senate committees where he can do less harm.

Answer to THINK ABOUT! Francis P. Sempa is, in his attack AGAINST SENATOR WICKER above, is more unAmerican in speech as he, Francis, is.

(“HE IS VIOLENTLY ATTACKING FREE SPEECH”? …….”may be the most dangerous officeholder in Washington!”)

Where is there proof Senator Wicker is a “war-monger”? Why is Senator Wicker not to be discussed with at a table?

Mr. Sempa believes, apparently, in the red, white, and blue perfection of “HuffPost”, a notorious red line of lefty fascistic American politics for more than a generation!

From a society of free thinking Americans, WE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT TO BELIEVE IN SEEKING TRUTH FOR GENERATIONS. Mr. Sempa must have gone to a wrong school.

OUR TODAY’S DEM AMERICAN PARTY HAS PAID LITTLE ATTENTION TO THE IMPORTANCE OF FREE SPEECH! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME! (WE DON’T VOTE VERY HONESTLY REGARDING NATIONAL ELECTIONS THESE DAYS….HAVE YOU NOTICED?)

‘CITIZENS’ OF SOVIET RUSSIA AND COMMUNIST CHINA HAVE NEVER KNOWN CIVILITY, TRUTH, SECURITY…..THEY ARE TRAINED TO SURVIVE AND OBEY, OR ELSE!

MARCH 3, 2022 BY JOHN HINDERAKER at PowerLine:

THE AXIS OF EVIL REUNITES

When I was growing up, the USSR and Communist China formed the original Axis of Evil. Then, in later years, the “Sino-Soviet split” changed the geopolitical calculus. Now, it seems that a Russian-Chinese alliance may be re-forming.

A week ago, it was reported that American diplomats went to their Chinese counterparts with evidence of an impending Russian invasion of Ukraine, in hopes that President Xi would try to talk Putin out of it:

Over three months, senior Biden administration officials held half a dozen urgent meetings with top Chinese officials in which the Americans presented intelligence showing Russia’s troop buildup around Ukraine and beseeched the Chinese to tell Russia not to invade, according to U.S. officials.

Each time, the Chinese officials, including the foreign minister and the ambassador to the United States, rebuffed the Americans, saying they did not think an invasion was in the works.

You could say it never hurts to try. Or you could say that hopeless naïveté is a bad thing in international relations.

Today, it is being reported that China asked Putin to delay the invasion until the conclusion of the Winter Olympics:

China asked Vladimir Putin to delay any invasion of Ukraine until after the Winter Olympics in Beijing, according to a Western intelligence report.
***
The Olympic closing ceremony took place on Feb 20. On the following day Putin recognised two breakaway areas in Ukraine and sent troops in to help separatists.

Then, on Feb 24, the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began.

Earlier, at the start of the Olympics, Putin visited Mr Xi and they signed a strategic partnership aimed at countering US influence.

As Western sanctions against Russia take effect, closer economic cooperation between Russia and China appears inevitable. Whether a full-blown strategic alliance is in the works remains to be seen, and of course Putin’s future–perhaps shaky if the oligarchs are sufficiently angry about losing their international lifestyles–could be an important factor. But for now, signs of a re-emergence of the original, and most sinister, Axis of Evil seem ominous.

(Note: I used to teach Russian……the language, until 1972. I was lucky to create a tzarist accent, but had no clue of my Russian speech type when I first visited the USSR in the summer of 1966.

In the USSR then humans were to speak Russian in public WHETHER IN THE UKRAINE, LATVIA, OR SIBERIA OR ELSE!… Citizens were ordered to be obedient based upon whatever came from Moscow.

I returned in October, 1990 with a group of Minnesotans who had gathered money to soften the horrors of the victims of the Chernobyl disaster a few years earlier.

Scores of years of fascist cruelty and control in public will reduce a nation’s population’s into loneliness and ability to speak freely in public!

IT IS NO DIFFERENT IN OUR COLLAPSING AMERICA. I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN A JUDEOCHRISTIAN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA….THE ONE THAT WAS IN ITS WORLD BATTLE FROM 1941 THROUGH SUMMER OF 1945….A WORLD OF HORROR!

Nevertheless, the America where I lived remained beautiful until the 1960s when so many universities were preaching lies and selling “free” Communism from coast to coast….and Woodstock appears.

America has gone downstairs ever since…..until recently…….there came a change in the Weather…..or A CHANGE IN THEE! ghr.

Hannity: Why don’t we just take Putin out?

ALLAHPUNDIT Mar 03, 2022 at HotAir:

“What is going on with Sean Hannity?” Tom Bevan tweeted this morning. “Two nights ago he suggested a NATO country bomb the Russian convoy, last night he argued in favor of assassinating Putin. Dangerous stuff.”

Love it or hate it, it illustrates Fox’s commitment to viewpoint diversity. How many other networks have a Putin apologist hosting at 8 p.m. and a guy who wants to kill Putin hosting at 9?

I think Tucker’s track record on Russia is part of the reason Hannity has been off the rails this week in suggesting countermeasures against Putin. For years he’s had to listen to critics claim that Carlson is more in tune with the MAGA base than he is, especially on foreign policy. Putin’s attack on Ukraine exploded that myth. Hannity’s hearts-and-minds victory over Tucker has evidently left him so exuberant that he’s willing to, uh, start World War III to spike the football.

It makes me laugh to see a guy who spent six years attacking the “deep state” as thoroughly corrupt and incompetent now asking them to somehow penetrate Putin’s inner sanctum and take him out.

The guy won’t let his own advisors within 20 feet of him, Sean. How do you propose going about this?

Relatedly, if the CIA manages to pull it off, can I hole up in your no doubt very comfortable, handsomely appointed bomb shelter?

I don’t know what would be worse, failure or success. Strike at Putin and miss and there’s no telling how he might react. Certainly, he’d aim to assassinate Biden or the next U.S. president in reprisal. Strike at Putin and succeed and it might lead Russia to dig in further on Ukraine:

Steven Fish, a political science professor at the University of California at Berkeley, said killing Putin would not solve much.

“If the Americans assassinate Putin, they will make him a martyr at home rather than allowing his cult of lies, impunity, arrogance, egomania, and inhumanity to undo him,” Fish said in an email. “There is no poetic justice in our assassinating Putin and doing so would not discredit Putinism in Russia and around the world.”

“We need to leave the honor of taking Putin down to the Russian people,” he added, “who do not want this war and have already begun to turn against him.”

Correct. There’s one group and one group only that can liquidate Putin without bombs going off and the west is presently engaged in tightening the economic screws on them to encourage them to do so. Nothing captures Putin’s predicament as vividly as this clip. Pour one out for the Russian people’s savings accounts:

Russia’s stock market has been closed all week to forestall a massive crash. Shares in Russian companies are still being traded in London — or were, until a few hours ago. Trading has now been suspended due to sanctions but not before the value of several companies collapsed utterly. “Sberbank was down 99.72% year-to-date to trade for around a single penny on Wednesday, while Gazprom was down 93.71%, Lukoil 99.2%, Polyus 95.58%, Rosneft 92.52% and EN+ 20.51%,” reports CNBC.

We’re not going to assassinate Putin, but will Hannity accept the utter devastation of the Russian economy as a consolation prize?

https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?dnt=true&embedId=twitter-widget-2&features=eyJ0ZndfZXhwZXJpbWVudHNfY29va2llX2V4cGlyYXRpb24iOnsiYnVja2V0IjoxMjA5NjAwLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X2hvcml6b25fdHdlZXRfZW1iZWRfOTU1NSI6eyJidWNrZXQiOiJodGUiLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X3NwYWNlX2NhcmQiOnsiYnVja2V0Ijoib2ZmIiwidmVyc2lvbiI6bnVsbH19&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1499396368749588481&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fhotair.com%2Fallahpundit%2F2022%2F03%2F03%2Fhannity-why-dont-we-just-take-putin-out-n452723&sessionId=f4e914318037fb5752ad73c726f3307f939fd1c2&siteScreenName=hotairblog&theme=light&widgetsVersion=2582c61%3A1645036219416&width=550px

It can’t be overstated how draconian the sanctions are that have cut off Russia’s central bank from the west. It’s no exaggeration to call them an economic weapon of mass destruction, and like any weapon of mass destruction, the damage done is so massive that it will inevitably spill over to non-targets. Economists are fretting about what deplatforming Russia from the western financial system will mean for Americans and Europeans:

One former Obama administration official who worked on sanctions, who agreed to talk on the condition of anonymity to speak candidly, said the scale of the restrictions on Russia has been so huge and unprecedented that its knock-on impact also could be huge and unprecedented. The former official noted that Russia’s central bank, whose U.S.-accessible assets Washington froze in a Rubicon-crossing move, had more assets than the entire economic output of Iran.

“It’s not apples and oranges,” the former official said. “It’s apples and elephants.”…

These sanctions could end up hurting the West, too. As my colleague Rick Noack has written from Paris, many in Europe are steeling themselves for the knock-on impact of European Union sanctions on Russia, including higher prices for gas, electricity and food. “This major crisis will have consequences on our lives, our economy,” French President Emmanuel Macron said last week.

As noted yesterday, we’re now in a race to see which people can endure more pain before yielding, Ukrainians and their western allies on the one hand and Russians on the other. Notably, the Times reports today that Moscow’s regional office of the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers of Russia is fielding upwards of 2,000 calls each day since the war began from parents concerned about their sons. “The parents’ first question is: What happened to my child?” said one official. “Is he alive?”

There’s a decent chance the answer is “no”

YES, IT WAS DEM AMERICA’S LIARS WHO PUT FASCIST NUT BIDEN INTO THE WHITE HOUSE!

The Biden Inflation Octopus

In the end it doesn’t matter whether Biden was deluded or diabolical. Come November, Americans will rightfully blame him for willfully damaging their lives.

By Victor Davis Hanson at American Greatness:

March 2, 2022

The Democrats will suffer historic losses in the November midterms.

This disaster for their party will come about not just because of the Afghanistan debacle, an appeased Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, the destruction of the southern border, the supply chain mess, or their support for critical race theory demagoguery.

The culprit for the political wipeout will be out-of-control inflation—and for several reasons.

First, the Biden Administration is in such denial of inflation that it sounds to Americans simply callous and indifferent to the misery it has unleashed.

Biden officials have scoffed at price spikes as “transitory.” Or they have preposterously claimed spiraling costs are a concern only to the elite. They blame the Ukraine crisis. Or they fault the out-of-office bogeyman, Donald Trump.

The administration assures us that consumer prices are only rising at an annualized rate of 7.5 percent—as if the steepest increase in 40 years actually is not all that bad.

Yet the middle class knows that inflation is far worse when it comes to the stuff of life: buying a house, car, gas, meat, or lumber.

Second, inflation is an equal opportunity destroyer of dreams. It undermines rich and poor, Democrats and Republicans, conservatives and liberals. It unites all tribes, all ideologies, all politics against those who are perceived to have birthed the monstrous octopus that squeezes everything and everyone it touches.

The conservative passbook holder sees his meager life savings eaten away. The liberal teacher’s car payments stretch from six to 10 years.

The prospective Republican home buyer sees his hard-earned potential down payment eaten away each month. The Democratic carpenter feels his new higher wages buy even less.

Third, inflation is ubiquitous, inescapable, omnipotent—and humiliating. It destroys personal dignity. And its toxicity is insidious, sort of like seeping, odorless, colorless, but nevertheless lethal carbon monoxide.

Unlike now-unpopular critical race theory, it cannot be avoided for a day. You cannot tune it out like one does the mess in Afghanistan or the now nonexistent southern border. Inflation attacks everyone in 24/7, 360-degree fashion.

It belittles you at the gas station. It downsizes you at the food market. It humiliates you in the obscene real estate market. It makes you look stupid when you are paying for a new car. It ridicules you when you buy lumber. Suddenly you apologize that you really cannot afford your child’s braces.

Fourth, inflation undermines a civil and ordered society. It unleashes a selfish “every man for himself” mentality, the Hobbesian cruelty of a “war of all against all.”

Inflation is the economic and emotional equivalent of smash-and-grab or carjacking. It is a brazen robber in broad daylight that so infuriates Americans by its boldness. It convinces them their very civilization is dying.

One day a friendly, hard-to-find plumber announces that he will work for cash only to avoid taxes that all others must pay. You notice at your neighborhood Walgreens suddenly lots of once inexpensive stuff is now pricey—and locked up because of shoplifting fears.

You sense that price stickers are mysteriously glued on top of older, original, and cheaper price stickers.

In warranted paranoia, you begin to wonder if you are being price-hiked by the car salesman, the barber, or the mechanic, and conclude that in order to survive, you too should price-hike others.

The noble fool who won’t play the inflation roulette game is reduced to the clueless standing naif victim of musical chairs—with nowhere to sit once the music ceases.

Fifth, Americans know that our current inflation is self-induced, not a product of a war abroad, an earthquake, or the exhaustion of gas and oil deposits.

Biden ignored the natural inflationary buying spree of consumers who were released from being locked down for nearly two years unable to spend.

Instead, he encouraged gorging that huge demand by printing trillions of dollars of funny money for all sorts of new redistributionist entitlements, green projects, and pet congressional programs.

The Biden Administration eroded the work ethic. It kept labor non-participation rates high by subsidizing with federal checks those staying at home.

It nihilistically slashed gas and oil production by canceling federal leases, oilfields, and pipelines while pressuring banks not to lend for fracking.

In just a year, Biden reduced America from the greatest producer of gas and oil in the history of civilization to an energy panhandler begging the Saudis and Russians to pump more of the oil that America needs but will not tap for itself.

Americans know the inflation octopus was willfully birthed. They are confused only whether Team Biden unleashed it out of incompetence—or a neosocialist idea of eroding the value of money for those who had it while gifting cash to those who didn’t.

Or was Biden deluded by crackpot “modern monetary theory,” the fool’s gold that claims printing money ensures prosperity?

In the end, it doesn’t matter whether Biden was deluded or diabolical. Come November, Americans will rightfully blame him for willfully damaging their lives.

LIARS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS DEMS……THEY WERE RAISED AND SCHOOLED GODLESS!

MARCH 3, 2022 BY STEVEN HAYWARD at PowerLine:

THE CLIMATISTAS ARE LYING AGAIN

The only thing that could have made President Biden’s State of the Union speech worse is if he had droned on and on about climate change. In fact, as Ben Zycher notes, Biden barely mentioned the subject: the word “climate” was only mentioned twice.

True, his two mentions were absurd, such as this one:

Second — cut energy costs for families an average of $500 a year by combatting climate change. Let’s provide investments and tax credits to weatherize your homes and businesses to be energy efficient and you get a tax credit; double America’s clean energy production in solar, wind, and so much more; lower the price of electric vehicles, saving you another $80 a month because you’ll never have to pay at the gas pump again.

I guess Biden thinks electricity to charge car batteries is free?

Meanwhile, the climatistas are down in the dumps:

War Abroad and Politics at Home Push U.S. Climate Action Aside

War and politics are complicating the efforts of the two biggest polluters in history — the United States and Europe — to slow down global warming, just as scientists warn of intensifying hazards.

On Tuesday evening, President Biden barely made a mention of his climate goals in the State of the Union speech despite promises to make climate an issue that drives his presidency. European politicians have their own problem: They are struggling to get out from under one of the Kremlin’s most powerful economic weapons — its fossil fuel exports, which Europe relies on for heat and electricity.

Oil and gas prices are soaring globally. That is a boon to those who extract and sell the very products that drive fatal heat waves, wildfires and sea level rise. And it is leading to new demands for increased drilling in the United States, already one of the world’s biggest producers of oil and gas.

But here’s the important part:

The developments come just days after an exhaustive report from the United Nations that implored world leaders to sharply reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gases that are dangerously heating the planet. To fail, they said, is to face a harrowing future where the rate of global warming outpaces humanity’s ability to adapt.

The IPCC always releases its periodic reports in three parts, to assure repeat headlines and opportunities for the climatistas to scream about the end of the world. The report of Working Group I (the science of climate) came out last August, generated the obligatory headlines, and now the report of Working Group II (impacts of climate change) is out, but because of the Ukraine crisis and the soaring coast of energy everywhere right now, it isn’t getting much traction. Bad timing on Putin’s part, since the climatistas are his most useful Western idiots.

Naturally the WGII report has the usual gloom and doom, “time running out,” and other familiar climate cliches. It also appears to be out of harmony with certain aspects of the WGI report last August, which dialed back some of the more extreme model scenarios of the future because it recognized honestly that the high-end emissions forecasts are becoming less and less realistic every day. But WGII goes all-in on the discredited high-end forecast, known in the climate policy trade as RCP8.5.

Roger Pielke Jr. Has long had the goods on this unrealistic forecast, and also why much of what WGII claims to be happening is not backed up by current scientific literature:

Each of the three studies utilizes the out-of-date and implausible extreme RCP8.5 scenario to project climate changes for 2100. So not only is society frozen in time, unable to adapt — which is clearly implausible, but future climate change is projected based on an extreme scenario that is also implausible. Implausibility built on implausibility offers no practical insight as to the role of adaptation in reducing vulnerabilities and increasing resilience. We might expect this sort of thing from a passionate advocacy group spinning science for theatrical effect, but not the IPCC. . .

The report concludes (TS-31) with high confidence that “Flood risks and societal damages are projected to increase with every increment of global warming.” This is simply not true. And by “not true” I mean that it is not an accurate representation of the literature that WG2 cites to justify this claim. It is also empirically false, as vulnerability to floods has dramatically decreased even as the planet has warmed.

Read the whole thing, as the saying goes. Meanwhile, a few charts that bear on the issue:

Chaser—here’s a short graphic look at why Putin thought he had Europe over a barrel (so to speak):

VEEP THOUGHTS BY KAMALA HARRIS

by Scott Johnson, March 3, 2022, at PowerLine:

Is it possible to imagine the treatment Kamala Harris would receive if she were a conservative Republican rather than a ludicrous leftist dolt? She might be laughed out of public life. She might be mocked into oblivion. I’m pretty sure she would not have ascended to the position that is proverbially one-heartbeat-away from succession to the 79–year-old Dementia Joe. As it is, the reality may be beyond satire.

Science officially changing: Federal agencies dropping mask mandates

ED MORRISSEY Mar 03, 2022 10:01 AM ET

 Share  Tweet

Jim Lo Scalzo/Pool via AP

So far, Reuters reports, the science has only officially changed at the Department of Justice and at the Pentagon. Expect it to change across the entire executive branch quickly, even if still behind Congress’ unmasking for the State of the Union speech — and of course, nearly every other state in the country except Hawaii. The White House quietly changed its directive late on Monday to remove mask mandates in low-hospitalization areas.

That, however, might shine an uncomfortable light on local Beltway officials:

The U.S. Defense and Justice departments are no longer requiring masks be worn indoors at Washington-area facilities, they said on Wednesday, following the latest COVID-19 guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Other agencies are expected to follow suit this week.

The change affects about 20,000 military and civilian employees at the Pentagon.

The Justice Department said masks are no longer required at its operated buildings in Washington and will implement new workplace policies, “including a phased increase in onsite presence, over the next two months.” Facilities outside Washington must follow the CDC’s community level guidance, it added.

First off, let’s just point out how late the White House and CDC are on this issue. Red states stopped imposing mask mandates months ago, and in some cases even before vaccines became widely available. The Omicron wave proved mask mandates essentially useless; transmission levels spiked up roughly equivalently in states with and without them. It’s that data — and the rising anger from blue-state voters that hit critical mass in the New Jersey and Virginia elections — that finally convinced Democratic governors to rescind mask mandates several weeks earlier.

So what’s the catch now? The new White House guidance allows federal agencies to dump mask mandates based on community levels of hospital utilization, the CDC’s butt-covering guidance change last week. Apparently the White House is giving DC-based facilities a waiver from the community-level requirement, but it still leaves the DC school system in a place where they have to explain keeping their mask mandates on children with absurdly low levels of risk while some of their parents that work in federal agency building don’t have to mask at all. As Reuters points out, even without a waiver, DC facilities would still qualify — as DC’s community utilization level is rated as “low.”

And of course, that big office at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue just held a maskless septuagenarian party Tuesday night. Kinda tough to argue that kids have to wear masks in DC to protect their grandparents when you watch America’s gerontocracy on live TV spending over an hour in close proximity without masks while cheering and shouting a substance-free speech. All of this is silly hypocrisy, including and especially the DC public schools that will have to hit reverse sooner rather than later as the White House tries to sound its own belated retreat. Such are the conundrums that arise when the political science drives arbitrary policies in the absence of — or deliberate eschewing of — epidemiological data.

Not to mention that all of this leaves Democratic midterm incumbents in a hypocritical quandary, especially after Tuesday’s spectacle. How do you ditch your single most visible virtue signal while on the stump?

Democratic lawmakers are distancing themselves from the strong pro-mask stance they took for most of the pandemic, which is becoming more and more of a political liability at a time when many Americans are reaching their limits of COVID-19 fatigue.

Democrats are being battered by poll after poll showing that President Biden’s approval rating is hovering around 40 percent, and lawmakers say COVID-19 fatigue is a major factor behind why so many voters are dissatisfied with the direction of the country. …

Democrats won control of the White House and Senate in the 2020 elections after embracing masks and other COVID-19-prevention protocols as a sign they were taking the pandemic more seriously than former President Trump, who repeatedly refused to wear a mask in public.

But now there are myriad signs that Americans are growing sick of masks and other restrictions.

They’ve figured out the hypocrisy of that virtue-signaling, after two years of watching Democrats and culture leaders demand mask mandates for others while ignoring the requirement for themselves. Even before the State of the Union, the Super Bowl exposed the hypocrisy on a far larger stage. Now Democrats are stuck between pandering to the dwindling crowd of hysterics they have assiduously courted over the last two years and the normies that will actually decide elections in 2022.

Zuckerbucks declared ‘bribery’ by special counsel in Wisconsin

By Monica Showalter at American Thinker:

Is the needle finally moving?

Seems the election takeover by Mark Zuckerberg’s minions in Wisconsin has now been declared “bribery” by Wisconsin’s special counsel, who was appointed to investigate the state’s 2020 election.

According to The Federalist:

Nearly $9 million in Zuckerberg grant funds directed solely to five Democratic strongholds in Wisconsin violated the state’s election code’s prohibition on bribery. That conclusion represents but one of the many troubling findings detailed in the report submitted today by a state-appointed special counsel to the Wisconsin Assembly.

Last August, Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos authorized the Office of Special Counsel, headed by retired state Supreme Court justice Michael Gableman, to investigate concerns about election integrity and the 2020 election. Gableman delivered an interim report to the state assembly on November 10, 2021. Earlier today, the special counsel provided a second interim report to the state legislative body, noting the report “is final in the sense that it provides a list of recommendations with time for the Legislature to act before the close of its session in March.”

That’s quite a different thing from what the Zuckerbucks NGO that was named in the damning report — The Center for Tech and Civic Life — claimed it was doing.

Get a load of its great gaslight posted on its website about what it was doing.

Every community depends on their local election office to lead a voting process that is trustworthy and inclusive. But too often election officials must spend their limited resources struggling against outdated technology, all while facing a steadily growing list of responsibilities, including:

  • implementing election legislation
  • educating voters
  • equipping voting locations
  • training poll workers
  • tackling cybersecurity concerns

Across many jurisdictions in the U.S., there are often only a handful of people responsible for all of this critical work.

Where we come in

We offer election officials  affordable opportunities to expand their communication and technology skills through tools and trainings.

As a result, they’re able to:

  • conduct more trustworthy, inclusive elections
  • troubleshoot and prepare for problems in advance of Election Day
  • better inform their community with the information they need in order to vote
  • increase civic participation

No word from them so far, and it’s been a day, about what they think about the Wisconsin special counsel’s report.

Now let’s look at how that nice-sounding activity looked on the ground to those who were under it.  Here’s a June 2021 report from John Solomon’s Just The News:

The now-retired elections clerk in a key Wisconsin county says political activists working for a group funded by Mark Zuckerberg money seized control of the November elections in Green Bay and other cities, sidelining career experts and making last-minute changes that may have violated state law.

“They had no business doing that,” ex-Brown County Clerk Sandy Juno told Just the News, recounting how funding from the Zuckerberg-backed Center for Tech and Civic Life injected chaos and unnecessary changes to how ballots were counted in Green Bay in November.

…and…

Juno told Just the News editor-in-chief John Solomon on Tuesday night’s “Securing our Elections: Protecting Your Vote” special on Real America’s Voice that election management in Green Bay was turned on its head last year after a massive infusion of cash from CTCL.

The group poured millions of dollars into multiple key Wisconsin Democratic strongholds in the months leading up to last year’s presidential race, ostensibly in an effort to shore up voting systems and infrastructure amid the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic. The organization was ultimately funded with more than a third of a billion dollars by Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan; that money was funneled to additional election funding efforts across the country.

Juno claimed that following the infusion of the CTCL cash into Green Bay “the mayor’s office and chief of staff began to take over election functions.”

“And that is not something under state statutes they have the authority to do,” she said, “because under Wisconsin law, municipal clerks, the county clerk and the Wisconsin Elections Commission are the individuals charged with running elections.”

Juno said the COVID-19 pandemic had already thrown the year into chaos prior to CTCL’s involvement in Wisconsin’s elections.

“As we got closer to the November election,” she said, “we found out that this outside group had come in and was basically trying to redo our forms and documents that we use statewide. And these people were from out of state and had no business doing that.”

“So they were beginning to get involved with things that they didn’t have the expertise,” she continued. “They were working primarily with our five major Democratic base cities. So they were breaking the consistency of documents and processes and procedures used statewide.”

This is exactly what the special counsel’s investigation found.  Can you imagine what that must have been like for those officials affected — to see well heeled Zuckerbuck leftists from out of state waltz in and take over local election efforts, arbitrarily changing rules, redoing forms to manipulate results, telling elected officials to go to hell because they were in charge here?  It would have been like a coup or terrorist attack, a clearly illegal takeover by outside dirtbags who otherwise belonged in jail.

That was hardly all.  The report focuses on the unequal treatment of voting districts, with urban districts getting virtually all the cash and the rest of the state getting nothing.  Here’s how bad it was:

On pages nine and ten, the WSVP requires that the Zuckerberg 5, “[p]rovide assistance to help voters comply with absentee ballot request & [sic] certification requirements.” App. 15-16. None of the private funding in this regard would benefit residents outside the Zuckerberg 5. Id. Instead, it targeted only the “Biden profile voter.” In Green Bay, the City would use the private money to fund bilingual LTE “voter navigators” to help Green Bay residents properly upload a valid photo ID, complete their ballots, comply with certification requirements, offer witness signatures, and assist voters prior to the elections.

“Vote navigators”?  Really?

The counsel, in fact, found that it was all a slimy bribery operation, which is an awfully strong charge that should require prosecution.

The Zuckerbucks effort was horrific in Wisconsin, which inexplicably voted against President Trump despite all polls and patterns that suggested that the state would vote for him, plus some weird shifts in direction coming after midnight.

Now we learn that these creeps’ takeovers of five Wisconsin districts in the five biggest urban areas according to the special counsel report had something to do with it, and it wasn’t just horrified county clerks who were targets.  The report states that election officials were culpable as well as the Zuckerbuckers — illegal drop boxes were put out; nursing homes were targeted for incapacitated elderly people and people not qualified to vote, taking in a 100% vote rate; voting rolls were not updated; and the gates were opened wide for illegals to cast ballots.

All of this suggests that some kind of cabal was at work, with some kind of horrible conspiracy to turn America into the kind of place nobody would want to vote in, a Venezuela-style election setup where one party alone wins, and when the manipulations don’t work, the outright fraud kicks in.

And that brings us back to the story of the century: the open admission by huge numbers of oligarchs and far-left activists that they conspired together to “save democracy” by rigging the 2020 election.  That story, published by Time magazine’s Molly Ball in December 2020, let the cat out of the bag about the vile elite that will stop at nothing to steal elections and disenfranchise American voters under the rubric of “saving democracy,” which they grotesquely crowed about.

America is a shambles as a result, and it never would have happened were the 2020 election not stolen as it was by these elites.  Mark Zuckerberg and his Zuckerbucks operation were front and center in this cabal, and it’s a mystery that that front group has not been shut down.

To date, the Zuckerbucks NGO has not made any statements about the bribery charge from the Wisconsin report and likely thinks that if it stays quiet, it will all blow over, and they can stay in business as usual.

But the charges are really pretty strong and likely will require some kind of sanction or prosecution or de-certification or shutdown.

Elections have consequences, and stolen elections have even bigger consequences.  One can only hope Wisconsin and all other states whose election apparati have been corrupted by Zuckerbucks and other machinations enact enough reforms to save 2022 and 2024 from this crime and thievery to get these bounders out of America’s system.  If they want power, they can run for office and see if anyone wants to vote for them — the same way other people do.

Loony Tune Pelosi Wiggles Her Shiver Dance For America’s Loony Tune President!

AN SOTU POSTSCRIPT

A couple of observations on two strange aspects of last night’s event that have been widely commented upon. First, Nancy Pelosi’s bizarre actions while Joe Biden was talking about soldiers who were exposed to toxic “burn pits.” What on earth was she doing?

And am I the only one who thinks that, with the plastic surgery she has had, Pelosi has taken on something of the air of a high school girl, as in this performance during the SOTU?

Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris, in close proximity as they were last night, give off a force field of weirdness.

The second moment: Biden’s unscripted “Go get him!” at the end of his speech. Apparently no one knows what he was talking about, if anything, but it reminded me of the famous scream–“Heee-yaa!”–that led to Howard Dean’s exit from the presidential race in 2004. I never actually saw much wrong with the scream, but it crystallized concerns a lot of people had about Dean, a relatively unknown commodity. In Biden’s case, a disconnected “Go get him!” hanging in the air might well crystallize concerns a lot of people have about Biden’s mental fitness. But those concerns will remain unspoken in polite society.
