Is Evil Winning Its Battle In Our America?

Woe to Those Who Call Evil Good

[…] It’s been said that not even Sodom and Gomorrah reached the level of decadence that we see today in America. Praise God for the remnant and the churches that intercede. In my opinion, they are the only thing keeping God’s judgment at bay.

Sin Fascinates Before it Assassinates

When Isaiah pronounced this “woe,” the nation of Israel had become comfortable in their sin. Moral conviction was fading and obedience to God was passé. As a result, they began to compromise and drift further from God. They were calling evil good and good evil. Two of the top evils were infanticide (laying their newborn children on the searing hot arms of Molech as a sacrifice) and sexual sin. Ring a bell? We still sacrifice our children on the altar of sexual sin.

As I’m writing this, the news just broke of Justice Alito’s thoughts on Roe v. Wade. The news that this law might be overturned has created a huge uproar. Imagine being angry that babies will live — “woe be to those who call good evil.”

Israel, not unlike America today, paid no attention as their leaders seduced them to do more evil than any other nation before them. (2 Kings 21:9) They failed to see that when sin fascinates, it assassinates.

Can You Hear Isaiah Today? I Sure Can.

  • Woe to the school districts that promote sexual perversion and undermine the family.
  • Woe to the universities that mock God and teach their students to do the same.
  • Woe to politicians who call evil good and good evil, and have the blood of the innocent on their hands.
  • Woe to pastors and Christian leaders who encourage sin by their silence, and who openly embrace apostasy.
  • Woe to the media who lead people astray by twisting the truth to promote the demonic agenda of darkness.
  • Woe to the film industry that bows to the whore of Babylon — the stench has reached the nostrils of God.
  • Woe to liberal churches who say that they love people, but hate God’s Word.

[…]Why do certain groups seek to silence God’s truth and adamantly oppose His Word, whereas Christians are open to dialogue and discussion? It’s because the truth invites scrutiny, and error runs from being challenged. It also has to do with the darkness hating the light because their deeds are evil. In short, God’s Word exposes evil hearts and demonic plans. . .

This Week’s Spygate Trial Is Bad News For Hillary Clinton

BY: MARGOT CLEVELAND at the Federalist:

Despite machinations attempting to hide the full truth of how Spygate conspiracies to entrap Donald Trump were spun, lots will come out into the open.

Subpoenaed Fusion GPS employee Laura Seago is likely to stay mum during questioning at the criminal trial of Michael Sussmann that starts this week. Her silence will be yet further evidence that the Hillary Clinton campaign financed and seeded the Russia collusion hoax to both the press and U.S. intelligence agencies.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin this morning in a D.C. federal court in the criminal case against former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann. While Sussmann faces a single charge of making a false statement to former FBI General Counsel James Baker, proof of that federal crime requires prosecutors to show Sussmann lied when he shared Alfa Bank data and whitepapers with Baker, telling the FBI lawyer that he was not acting on behalf of a client.

To prove that lie, Durham’s team, led by long-time prosecutor Andrew DeFilippis, will present evidence to the jury that Sussmann, in fact, was acting on behalf of two clients—the Clinton campaign and tech executive Rodney Joffe. The special counsel has already previewed much of the evidence it intends to present over the course of the expected two-week trial.

Prosecutors will first seek to establish that the Alfa-Bank hoax—a conspiracy theory that claimed Donald Trump had established a secret communications channel with the Russia-based Alfa Bank—originated with Sussmann’s client, Joffe, but was then shared with the Clinton campaign through its Perkins and Coie attorneys. The testimony of Georgia Tech researcher Dave Dagon, whom the special counsel gave immunity to last summer, will be key in this regard.

In the months leading up to the 2016 presidential election, Dagon worked closely with Joffe and the originator of the Alfa-Bank data, April Lorenzen, reviewing the data and a whitepaper supposedly showing the Russia-Trump connection. According to Durham’s indictment, Dagon also collaborated with Joffe and Lorenzen to craft another conspiracy theory related to the Russian-made Yota cell phones. In February 2017, Sussmann provided the CIA data related to the Yota cell phones, claiming that the Russian phones were typically used by top Russian officials and that the data showed the cellphones being in multiple locations near Trump, including in the executive office building of the president.

Dagon’s role, however, extended further, with him serving as the go-to expert to push the Alfa Bank story in the media. Emails reveal that the private investigative firm Fusion GPS, which Perkins and Coie hired on behalf of the Clinton campaign, pushed Dagon on reporters skeptical of the Alfa Bank story. Dagon’s testimony concerning his assistance to Fusion GPS in these efforts connects the Alfa-Bank hoax to the Clinton campaign because it was Perkins and Coie who hired Fusion GPS and not Joffe.

While Dagon holds some insight on Fusion GPS’s role in feeding the Alfa-Bank hoax to the media, prosecutors have also subpoenaed Fusion GPS’s “tech maven” Seago to testify. In response, Seago’s attorney, Holly Pierson, informed the government that Seago would invoke her Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination absent a court order of immunity compelling her to testify at trial. Last month, on a motion by the special counsel, presiding judge Christopher Cooper entered an order immunizing Seago and compelling her to testify.

The court’s order, however, addressed solely Seago’s right not to incriminate herself, and did not address the question of attorney-client privilege. Another ruling last week by the D.C. federal judge addressed Joffe and the Clinton campaign’s claims of attorney-client privilege.

In that order, the court held that internal Fusion GPS emails related to “ordinary media-relations work” undertaken on behalf of the Clinton campaign were not protected by attorney-client privilege. Other emails, though, including eight emails with their attachments exchanged between Sussmann, Joffe, and Fusion GPS’s Seago, were protected by attorney-client privilege according to the court.

While the court’s order last week addressed only the few dozen emails at issue, the court noted it “will apply the principles set forth above to any assertions of privilege during witness testimony at trial.” Consequently, if prosecutors seek to inquire of Seago about communications she had with Joffe about the Alfa-Bank data and whitepapers, Seago is likely to respond that she cannot answer the questions based on attorney-client privilege.

Such a rejoinder, however, during the highly publicized Sussmann trial will force focus on the basis of that claim. And the premise underlying the court’s ruling that communications between Seago, Joffe, and Sussmann were protected by attorney-client privilege was that Joffe shared a “common interest” with the Clinton campaign.

Testimony by Seago that Fusion GPS worked with Joffe to push the Alfa-Bank conspiracy theory would further the special counsel’s goal of establishing that Sussmann represented Joffe and the Clinton campaign when he met with Baker; but her hiding behind attorney-client privilege would as well.

In fact, according to court filings the special counsel issued trial subpoenas to both the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee “requesting the testimony of witnesses regarding the assertion of attorney-client privilege in front of the jury,” illustrating that Durham’s team sees value in the jury hearing from witnesses that the Clinton campaign sees itself as the client related to communications relevant to the Alfa Bank data.

Likewise, if Seago refuses to answer questions regarding conversations she had with Joffe and others regarding the Alfa Bank data, prosecutors can still win from that loss, with jurors learning from the assertion of privilege that the Alfa Bank theory arose from communications with Joffe, on behalf of the Clinton campaign.

The real loser, though, will be Hillary Clinton, who risks the spectacle of a court ruling during public proceedings that Seago’s communications with Joffe were protected by attorney-client privilege given Fusion GPS’s role of assisting the Clinton campaign. And that is but a sliver of the evidence likely to come out during Sussmann’s trial connecting Clinton to Spygate.

Jerk Maher Is Occasionally Civil?

Bill Maher Cites Obama’s Big Lie When Warning Liberals About Biden’s Thought Police

Bill Maher Cites Obama's Big Lie When Warning Liberals About Biden's Thought Police

Source: Janet Van Ham/HBO via AP

Bill Maher would probably like to make fun of conservatives like he’s done in years past. I admit some were funny jabs. He’s a comedian. He’s pro-free speech. He hates the political correctness ethos that’s infected his side of the aisle. It’s why he’s shot inside the ship more than a few times. He’s returned fire against his own because they’ve lost their minds. The man just likes having conversations with anyone. He and Ann Coulter are best friends. He sat down with The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro where he discussed how his side has lost the plot. Defunding the police, kids being transgender at age four—this never happened. Being “woke” was not a thing. Introducing yourself via pronouns was not a thing either. So, when Joe Biden decided to form a thought police task force at the Department of Homeland Security ahead of the 2022 midterms, you can only imagine how Maher would react given his past remarks about Big Tech censorship concerning the Wuhan lab leak theory and Hunter Biden’s laptop.

First, it just shows you how out of touch Joe Biden has become thinking that so-called misinformation, which is just anything that makes him look bad, is what’s causing his bad polling numbers. It’s just that he has a trash agenda. Yet, Maher warned liberals about this thought police task force, noting they would have had a field day over Barack Obama’s lie about healthcare. Remember, if you like your plan, you can keep it? The HBO host also said that people comparing it to “1984’s” Ministry of Truth in Oceania are right.

“It’s exactly what it sounds like,” he said (via The Blaze):

On Friday night’s episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the liberal talk show host said he agreed with the newly-formed department’s role in combatting Russian disinformation since “they are our adversary and trying to hurt us.” However, Maher was deeply concerned with how the Disinformation Governance Board could be politically weaponized…here’s from the Department of Homeland Security, ‘Disinformation is defined as false information that is deliberately spread with the intention to deceive or mislead,'” Maher quoted the DHS.

“Well, you could have said that about ‘If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,’” Maher suggested, recalling Obama’s vow that was proclaimed “Lie of the Year” by PolitiFact in 2013.

“It said also, here’s a phrase, ‘can take many forms.’ Okay, now we’re going faster down the slippery slope,” Maher warned.

Maher declared, “Okay, so government should not be involved in deciding what’s true or not true!”

Maher then questioned what would happen to the Disinformation Governance Board if Republicans regained the White House in the next presidential election.

Maher mentioned that many people are labeling the Disinformation Governance Board as the “Ministry of Truth” – the department of propaganda in George Orwell’s dystopian book “1984.”

“Yes, they’re right to compare this to Orwell in the Ministry of Truth. It’s exactly what it sounds like,” Maher exclaimed.

Maher also slammed the incoming director of the new Disinformation Governance Board for wanting to enable verified Twitter users to edit other users if they feel like a tweet is misleading.

During a recent Zoom call, Nina Jankowicz said, “Verified people can essentially start to ‘edit’ Twitter [in] the same sort of way that Wikipedia is so they can add context to certain tweets.”

Maher noted that Twitter users can easily add a reply to tweets – which could provide context.

“Oh, you mean like what Twitter is? That’s what Twitter is. Somebody says something and then you add context,” Maher snapped back sarcastically, then added, “These are not bright people in our government.”

Well, that’s for sure, sir. Democrats sure act as if they’ll be in the majority forever. That’s coming to an end this year. I hope they understand that—and I’m not so sure we should dissolve this thought police task force once we regain control in due time. They set the rules. And we know the left has been spewing a steady lava stream of misinformation.

(Do you really think the mayor can ban THE BAN?)

Chicago mayor bans unaccompanied teens from park

JAZZ SHAW May 16, 2022 at HotAir:

AP Photo/Nam Y. Huh

There’s a new sort of lockdown coming to the Windy City this week, but it doesn’t have anything to do with COVID, face masks or vaccinations. Millennium Park in Chicago is considered an iconic tourist attraction and a busy gathering place for locals when the weather is pleasant. It’s also the location of a massive steel sculpture locally known as “the bean.” But there has been a steep rise in a very different type of “action” in the park recently. Just over the past weekend, multiple people were shot in the park, with a 16-year-od boy being killed. More than 30 people were arrested with illegal weapons. After public pleas for an end to the violence from city officials, Mayor Lori Lightfoot declared a ban on “unaccompanied minors” in the park after 6 pm on Thursdays through Sundays. Lightfoot insisted that the Chicago Police would ensure that the ban will be “strictly enforced and violations will be dealt with swiftly.” This announcement was immediately met with a combination of outrage and scorn and questions of how such a ban could be efficiently and legally enforced have yet to be addressed. (Chicago Sun-Times)

Following another night of springtime chaos downtown, Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Sunday announced she’s banning minors from Millennium Park on weekend evenings unless they’re accompanied by an adult.

Declaring the city “cannot allow any of our public spaces to become platforms for danger,” Lightfoot said unaccompanied minors won’t be allowed in one of the city’s most iconic tourist attractions after 6 p.m. from Thursday through Sunday, unless they’re with “at least one responsible adult.”

The mayor announced that measure after a frenetic stretch from Saturday evening into early Sunday that started with crowds of young people congregating in the Loop — and ended with a 16-year-old boy fatally shot near “The Bean,” two men wounded in a separate attack nearby and 26 juveniles and five adults arrested.

This is being framed as a need to find a way to protect the children of Chicago, and in at least some cases, that’s an accurate portrayal. Innocent bystanders are too often victims of these shootings. But if Lightfoot were being honest, she would admit that a lot of the shooting is being done by children, because we’re primarily talking about gang violence and gangs start recruiting new members at very young ages.

With that said, the ban is problematic on a number of levels. The park is very large and is frequently packed with thousands of people. Are the Chicago Police going to be stopping every person who looks like they might be 17 or younger and demand ID simply for the crime of “being in the park?” If the Mayor wanted to close the park entirely, that would be one thing. But allowing only those above a certain age to walk on the grass is going to be an enforcement nightmare, assuming this ban is even legal.

Making exceptions for youths who are with a “responsible adult” sounds like a nice gesture toward families wishing to bring their children out for a stroll in the park, right? But what if some of the children are already gang members and they are accompanied by an older gang member who is 18 or over? Can you kick them out of the park without proving that the older gang member is somehow not a “responsible adult?” Are the cops going to have to make those calls on the fly? You can see how this plan falls apart rapidly.

The Police Superintendent was asked by reporters how he planned to enforce the ban on Sunday. He didn’t have much in the way of answers that didn’t sound like word salad.

Police Department Superintendent David Brown wouldn’t give specifics on how officers will enforce the new policy.

“It’s got to be strategic and surgical in the way we do it, one step at a time instead of this broad measure that you might have to pull back because it’s too broad and not effective,” Brown said during a news conference Sunday afternoon.

Strategic and surgical? What does that even mean? The gangs have been running wild in Chicago for far too long to expect them to be put off by a new mayoral policy. If the cops are seriously going to try to enforce this, they will need to be stopping and questioning scores of younger people on an hourly basis, along with checking all of their ID cards, assuming they even have one. That’s going to require a lot of police resources. And for every cop playing hall monitor in Millennium Park, there’s one less cop out there trying to break up mass lootings, stop carjackings, and hunt down killers.

Are Dems Becoming Soviet America?

Democrats Blame Inflation on ‘Greed,’ Instead of Their Own Failed Policies

By Brian C. Joondeph at American Thinker:

Inflation, over the past year, has gone from conspiracy theory, to transient, to no big deal, to ignored, and now finally reluctantly acknowledged by the ruling class. Yet to consumers paying more for groceries, restaurant meals, airline tickets, and gasoline, it is painfully real.

Democrats in Congress and the White House are reticent to take any responsibility for inflation with their reckless spending and deliberate hampering of getting petroleum products out of the ground and into cars and homes.

After presiding over a more than doubling of gasoline prices during his first year and a half in office, President Biden is adding fuel to the inflationary fire by canceling offshore oil lease sales in Alaska and the Gulf Coast. Gas prices hovered around $2 per gallon during most of 2020 only to set records four days in a row this past week, settling at $4.44 per gallon, hence the ubiquitous Joe Biden “I did that” stickers peppering gas pumps nationwide.

Not only fuel, but also food prices, increasing at the fastest rate in 40 years according to the US Department of Agriculture. For example, meats, poultry, fish, and eggs are up 14 percent with fruits and vegetables costing 8 percent more.

And that assumes you can find these items. Baby formula stocks are low and getting worse, according to CNN, now at a 40 percent out-of-stock rate. What’s the solution? Rather than keeping American grocery store shelve stocked with baby formula, the Biden administration is shipping available supplies to our open southern border to feed migrant children. Or to Ukraine, along with $40 billion in aid which could be better spent on crumbling American infrastructure. The answer for hungry American babies? Get in line or make your own formula.

What do the money mavens say? Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell can’t promise a “soft landing” for the U.S. economy, acknowledging the possibility of a recession. One more quarter of negative GDP and we are officially in a recession. The Fed promises small interest rate hikes to fight inflation, but with a $30 trillion national debt, every percent interest rate increase translates to $300 billion more in annual interest payments. This is money we don’t have.

We can always borrow money to pay interest to those we borrowed the money from. That makes sense. As much sense as just printing money to pay our expenses, worsening the inflation we are supposedly trying to fight. When in a hole, stop digging.

It’s convenient for the White House to blame Russia’s Ukraine invasion for inflation but economic history paints a different picture. As reported by Fortune, at the time of the invasion, inflation was already at 7.5 percent and gasoline cost $3.54 a gallon. The Russia-Ukraine war is making things worse, but inflation was already here before the war. Nice try.

Rather than applying basic economics to our looming problems of inflation and stagflation, Democrats have contrived a theory as nonsensical as blaming Donald Trump for Joe Biden’s policy decisions. The Washington Post coined this approach “Greedflation”:

The theory goes something like this: The reason prices are up so much is that companies have gotten “greedy” and are conspiring to “pad their profits,” “profiteer” and “price-gouge.” No one has managed to define “profiteering” and “price-gouging” more specifically than “raising prices more than I’d like.”

The problem with this narrative is that it’s just a pejorative tautology. Yes, prices are going up because companies are raising prices. Okay. This is the economic equivalent of saying “It’s raining because water is falling from the sky.” Well, why?

The greedflationists argue that something fishy is afoot because companies are not merely “passing along” their higher costs; their profit margins are expanding, too. But this is exactly what you’d expect when flush customers are buying more stuff and willing to pay whatever’s necessary to get what they want. Prices and profits rise.

At best, this approach has done nothing to curb inflation. Worse, it has distracted Democrats from taking actions that could help, because this “greedflation” narrative has persuaded both policymakers and the public to misdiagnose the problem’s causes.

This warped thinking mirrors the “pay your fair share” argument to raise income tax rates, thinking somehow that the rich don’t pay enough taxes. As Tax Foundation notes, “The top 1 percent paid a greater share of individual income taxes (38.8 percent) than the bottom 90 percent combined (29.2 percent).”

How convenient to blame one’s own failed policies and solutions on some bogeyman, whether “the rich” or cigar-chomping “greedy price-gouging corporatists.” While at the same time, Congress has no hesitation in spending $40 billion of taxpayer money, which we actually are borrowing, to fund a proxy war against Russia where we have no vital national interest.

Ignoring the real causes of inflation means that any policy prescriptions out of Washington D.C. will make the problem worse rather than better.

Not all countries are suffering American levels of inflation. For example, the inflation rate in Japan is 0.6 percent, Saudi Arabia 1.1 percent, and Bolivia 0.9%. Yet in America and much of the West, we are in real double-digit territory with no sign of improvement.

Is this simply economic stupidity? Doubtful as even the likes of Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has an economics degree from Boston University. Even if she wasn’t the brightest student or slept through most of her classes, she and her congressional colleagues understand the utter foolishness of borrowing and spending money we don’t have.

Or is this approach more sinister?

Former Soviet Premier Vladimir Lenin correctly observed, “The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.” This is exactly what is happening in America. Democrats want tax increases to fight inflation, which even the corporate media recognizes as “reckless.”

What better way to demoralize and destroy a society than by making the people poor and hungry? Which is exactly where we are headed.

THAT PRISON CALLED COMMUNIST CHINA!

China’s monstrous organ harvesting practices

By Andrea Widburg at American Thinker:

One of China’s booming industries is providing organs for transplants into Westerners. According to credible testimony before the House Human Rights Commission, though, it doesn’t get those organs through legitimate donations from people who have died through Acts of God. Instead, China is executing healthy young political dissidents and Uighurs in its thousands of concentration camps to provide organs for this market.

A country’s moral system is broken when physicians, rather than abiding by the Hippocratic oath to “first do no harm,” use their medical expertise to engage in grotesque experiments on people or, even worse, to kill them for profit. Dr. Mengele famously, and cruelly, experimented with twins, dwarfs, and other people who satisfied his twisted curiosity. Other Nazi doctors used concentration camp inmates to do experiments with freezing and cooking people to death, causing lathyrism (a deadly neurological disease caused by a diet only of chickpeas), seeing what would happen to pregnant women if their legs were tied together during labor, and other sadistic ideas even beyond imagination.

Che Guevara was trained as a physician but found his greatest pleasure in sadistically murdering people. Radovan Karadžić, who committed genocide in the former Yugoslavia, was a psychiatrist.  Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian dictator, is a doctor. And I would argue, although “trans activists” would disagree, that those physicians who give dangerous hormones to and conduct mutilating surgery on teens in order to shape them into a bizarre image of the opposite sex also fall into the category of physicians gone bad.

Image: Falun Gong’s daily D.C. protesting against China’s organ harvesting. YouTube screen grab.

Things are a bit different in China because it’s not clear that the physicians are willing accomplices to its grotesque medical practices. In China, according to testimony before the Human Rights Commission, the entire system is rotten because the Communist Party forces physicians (although some may be willing) to harvest organs from healthy young people who have minutes before been executed solely so that their organs can be harvested:

One of the world’s top experts on China’s forced organ harvesting industry told Congress on Thursday the Communist Party may be “harvesting” as many as 50,000 concentration camp victims, killing them to sell their organs, a year.

Ethan Gutmann – a senior research fellow in China studies at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and co-author of the landmark works on the subject, “Bloody Harvest” and “The Slaughter” – noted each healthy individual killed to extract his or her organs could yield two or three organs, meaning China would be selling as many as 150,000 organs from these victims.

[snip]

The hearing followed the publication of years of evidence that China was killing healthy people to sell their organs on the black market to wealthy buyers, most recently a study published by researchers at Australian National University (ANU) in April accusing China of “execution by heart removal.”

For the CCP to execute prisoners by ripping out their hearts to prop up its regime is really no different than what the Aztecs did, ripping the beating hearts out of their prisoners to prop up their regime. The Aztecs were placating their blood-thirsty gods; the Chinese Communist Party is enriching its blood-thirsty political class.

The same Breitbart article from which I quoted, above, quotes Gutmann about the selection process, something that sounds very much like Mengele’s Auschwitz “playground”:

“There are two kinds of people who leave the camps early: The first are young people, about 18 years old. The announcement that they are ‘graduating’ is often made during lunch. Sometimes light applause is encouraged,” Gutmann explained. “‘Graduation’ is a euphemism for forced labor, often at a factory out east.”

“The second group’s average age is usually 28 or 29 – the exact stage of physical development that the Chinese medical establishment prefers for organ harvesting,” he continued. After medical tests, he noted, those chosen in this group “vanished in the middle of the night. Witness testimony from approximately twenty camps is strikingly consistent: between 2.5% to 5% annual disappearances for the 28-year-old age group.”

“If we assume that at any given time since 2017, there are approximately a million Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz and Hui in the camps, my estimate is that 25,000 to 50,000 camp detainees are being harvested every year,” Gutmann explained.

“Twenty-eight-year-olds from the Xinjiang [East Turkistan] camps can be theoretically harvested for two or three organs, translating into a minimum of 50,000 organs or a maximum of 150,000 organs,” he further concluded.

Back in the 1970s, the American political class thought that it could tame communist China and gain an ally against the Soviet Union by welcoming China into the West. By the 1990s, the American political class saw China as a vast, untapped reservoir of cash that went directly into that class’s pockets. Now, in the second decade of the 21st century, it’s clear we’ve created a monster. Even as China shows a single-minded determination to become the world power, we can see that it’s a completely amoral system that uses the vast economic and scientific resources we handed it to engage in genocidal “medical” practices against populations it deems undesirable.

Racist Dem Vermont Goes “WOKE”!

May 15, 2022

Supreme Court’s 9-0 flag-flying decision startles, dismays wokesters in Vermont public schools

By John Klar at American Thinker:

National outrage over George Floyd’s death was particularly virulent in super-progressive (“woke”) Vermont, where schools widely displayed the BLM flag beside the American flag.  Unconcerned that this was a blatantly illegal government endorsement of an overtly partisan organization, proponents donned the “hear no evil from constitutionalists” earmuffs and prided themselves on agitating their neighbors by violating the Constitution.

Many Vermonters have complained publicly that this is obvious abuse by government, but school officials have stonewalled, gaslighted, and suppressed all efforts to assert this axiomatic constitutional truth.  The state’s capital city of Montpelier shamelessly painted BLM on the road in front of the Vermont State House and condemned as racist an effort to display “Liberty and Justice For All” beside it.  This is a cohesive, deliberate drive to eliminate basic constitutional guarantees to be replaced with an anti-constitutional ideology: the BLM flag is elevated as a superior symbol.

The United States Supreme Court’s recent 9-0 Shurtleff decision, which said the government of Boston discriminated against a petitioner by refusing to fly the “Christian flag,” has caught the attention of these miscreants where parents and taxpayers were ignored.  A state leader in this patently illegal flag display has been the Randolph Union High School (RUHS).  The school mascot was reinterpreted as racist — the ghost rider on a horse looked too much like a KKK member — after the woke school principal draped an actual robe over it to project his racist interpretation onto the community.  Now Vermont is pushing a law for the state to oversee all mascots to supposedly “provide positive and inclusive learning environments for all students.”

RUHS children have been systematically conditioned with CRT and BLM ideology, a bold and obscene indoctrination into liberal-only politics.  Speech that detracts from the Democrat ownership of RUHS is verboten.  Study materials portray police and conservatives as racists and reference “right-wing nuts.”  The left-wing nuts are praised.

Students at RUHS can wear gay pride T-shirts but not shirts that say, “There are only two genders” (that’s a political attack on sensitive trans people) or “Let’s Go Brandon” (too profane).  At a recent school board meeting, a clueless equity director was incensed that one student dared to wear a shirt that said “I love Chick-fil-A” in protest against the school’s cancelation of a baseball team fundraiser for using that company’s chicken.  The school decided it was an attack on gays and imputed a nonexistent hate motive, aiming:

After the Chick-fil-A fundraiser was canceled, a student athlete wore a homemade shirt saying “I heart Chick-fil-A,” walking past other children, and children that have two moms [sic]. The message was, the Chick-fil-A fundraiser was canceled because it was not inclusive of all identities, and that response of a child who was considered a leader in the community wore a homemade shirt expressing that disdain. Is that what we want to show our children that that’s what a student leader does?

This school decides what is “hate speech” by conservatives while preaching its own variety against parents or students who disagree.  Welcome to America’s one-party future!

The community has finally had enough, and parents who understand the Constitution have begun to stand up.  Shurtleff has infused them with renewed determination, as has the increasingly absurd speech content discrimination of this and other Vermont schools.  At a school board meeting on May 11, many “equity stakeholders” (partisan bureaucrats abusing their positions) stood up in oblivion and beseeched the school board to continue flying their illegal hate symbol!

School superintendent Layne Millington has taken missteps in responding to the community, portraying their rightful indignation at this illegal partisan bias as simmering racism that has infected the schools.  However, he has been moved by Shurtleff, and on May 11, he attempted to explain clear law to a fuzzy social justice school board, which decided to “take it slow and study the law.”

Social justice ideology seeks to eliminate First Amendment protections for people (of any color) who do not buckle to their cult.  The display of the BLM flag is every bit as inappropriate as a Confederate flag flown at a school.  Even children understand that — even in Vermont.

Vermont is on the front lines of a constitutional battle — the entire state education apparatus has enthusiastically leaped onto the BLM bandwagon to virtue-signal its violation of voters’ basic constitutional liberties.  Students have experienced a persistent ideological discrimination and are rebelling, with parents at their side who now know more clearly than ever the rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

Insisting that the school district provide personal indemnity if the BLM flag remained, Superintendent Millington wisely directed the offending BLM symbol to be taken down pending the school board’s decision.  After years of community insult, the BLM flag at RUHS was unceremoniously taken off the school’s flagpole during the night.

The First Amendment has been restored…for now.

Will A Conservative Tsunami Really Arrive?

May 15, 2022

The Internal Revenue (Election Rigging) Service

By Clarice Feldman at American Thinker:

Should the projections of a Republican tsunami at the midterms prove true, there are so many things that a Republican Congress must prioritize. Not the least of which is revising the civil-service laws to permit removing incompetent and corrupt bureaucrats, cutting drastically the federal bureaucracy, and reforming, among other agencies, the CDC, NIH, FBI, and the IRS.

I’m focusing now on the IRS, which first hit my radar screen when with no consequences whatsoever.  Loretta Lynch’s Department of Justice declined to press criminal charges against Lois Lerner, whose outfit delayed and denied the Tea Party reform groups the tax-exempt status to which they were entitled, hamstringing them against the very well-financed (probably including illegal funds from abroad) Obama crowd.

This time, pay attention to Black Lives Matter, an utterly corrupt outfit whose riots and lootings destroyed so many cities and wreaked havoc on the black communities and their businesses.

The damage continues to this day as the riots fueled the defund police movement, a ridiculous effort that leaves the poor and the black communities particularly vulnerable to violent crime, and as another consequence caused an exodus of needed businesses from those places.

On her own, the mayor of D.C. ordered one street painted in huge letters “Black Lives Matter.” School kids were urged to walk out to support the group, while big corporations sent them money. All told, the group reportedly raised $90 million in 2020.

The money seems to have vanished. What we know is that millions of it went to mansions purchased by Patrisse Cullors, the co-founder of the group. And now the Clintonista involved in rigging election laws (Marc Elias) and DNC bigwig Minyon Moore have stepped away from its board just days before an expected financial disclosure of its books.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation revealed in February that the Elias Law Group, Elias’s namesake law firm, had taken control of its books and finances. But Elias Law Group is nowhere to be found in BLM’s latest registration filings submitted to Florida and Oklahoma on April 28, according to records obtained by the Washington Examiner

Elias funded Christopher Steele’s discredited dossier

While the new records show the Elias Law Group is no longer in control of BLM’s books, whatever continued involvement Elias’s firm may have with the embattled charity remains a mystery. The Elias Law Group declined to provide an on-the-record comment to the Washington Examiner

The Elias Law Group’s absence from BLM’s Florida and Oklahoma registrations submitted on the eve of the charity’s financial disclosure is telling, said Tom Anderson, the director of the Government Integrity Project at the National Legal and Policy Center watchdog group.

“It is important to note the Elias Law Group is a firm with a laser focus on electing Democrats and pushing the progressive agenda,” Anderson told the Washington Examiner. “This makes their disappearance from the latest BLM Global Network Foundation filings a pivotal moment, probably foreshadowing the total collapse of what is left of the organization.”

BLM had disclosed in February that Elias’s law firm had taken control of its books and Moore had joined its board of directors. The filings were made public about two weeks after the BLM shut off its online fundraising streams amid legal threats from California and Washington over the charity’s lack of financial transparency.

BLM’s fundraising remains shuttered, and the charity is due to file its long-awaited federal form 990 financial disclosure to the IRS next week revealing what it did with its financial windfall from 2020.

The likelihood that BLM was intimately involved in the Democrats’ 2020 election strategy is clear from the fact that Elias funded Christopher Steele’s “Dossier,” a pack of lies at the heart of Russiagate, and that his then legal colleague at Perkins Coie, Michael Sussman, is being tried by Special Counsel John Durham next week where Elias is expected to testify.

BLM’s singular noted program for the past fiscal year was the purchase in Los Angeles of a mansion for parties.

That purchase alone should have triggered an IRS investigation but there’s no indication that it has.

…a man named Dyane Pascall purchased the seven-bedroom house that would become known as Campus. According to California business-registration documents, Pascall is the financial manager for Janaya and Patrisse Consulting, an LLC run by Cullors and her spouse, Janaya Khan; Pascall is also the chief financial officer for Trap Heals, a nonprofit led by Damon Turner, the father of Cullors’s only child.

Within a week, Pascall transferred ownership of the house to an LLC established in Delaware by the law firm Perkins Coie. The maneuver ensured that the ultimate identity of the property’s new owner was not disclosed to the public. [snip]

Nonprofit experts say that any apparent intermingling of resources among BLMGNF, Cullors, and outside entities might jeopardize the charity’s tax-exempt status. [snip]

BLMGNF was awarded tax-exempt status from the IRS in December 2020, two months after the house’s purchase. The distinction meant the group would have to disclose information about donors and expenditures in an annual filing known as a 990. But BLMGNF has not submitted those forms for 2020 or 2021. It also has problems at the state level: The Washington Examiner reported in February 2022 that California’s attorney general told the group it was considered delinquent. BLMGNF has since retained the high-profile Democratic lawyer Marc Elias and maneuvered to get more time to formally submit data from 2020 by switching from calendar-year to fiscal-year tracking. [snip]

The group informally released a batch of financial information in February 2021, when it said it had taken in more than $90 million in 2020 and still had $60 million on hand. The house was not mentioned. [snip]

Real-estate purchases have been a problem for the BLMGNF outside of the U.S. as well. In the summer of 2021, BLM Canada announced that it was purchasing a mansion in Toronto and hoped to establish a Black community hub. Conservative-media outlets later reported that public-property records indicated the transaction involved a transfer of approximately $6.3 million to a Canadian nonprofit, M4BJ, that was established in part by Janaya Khan, who was born in Toronto.

Janaya Future Khan denies knowledge of this house, says she has never had access to the financials of BLM, and was not an officer of the company. ”Khan separated from Cullors in September 2017 and left BLM shortly after,” years before the purchase of the house.

(While the IRS seems to be looking the other way and the Clintonistas are heading for the exits, in March of 2021 the IRS tossed the electronically filed information returns  for an estimated 30 million filers because of a paperwork backlog  which may well delay taxpayer refunds because without that documentation [which had been properly and timely filed by the taxpayers] the agency cannot verify the details on the returns.)

While the IRS makes it harder for you to get your refunds, Black Lives Matter is not the only sketchy Democrat-controlled election-rigging outfit whose tax-exempt status the IRS has not looked into. David Horowitz and John Perazzo detail how Mark Zuckerberg funneled $419.5 million to tax-exempt outfits (Center for Election Innovation and Research and the “Safe Elections” Project of the Center for Technology and Civic Life through yet a third tax-exempt outfit, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.)

The purpose of these grants was obvious — it was to tip the scales for the Democrats in the 2020 election despite the fact that such tax-exempt foundations are “barred from contributing their resources to election campaigns.”

The grants to these two outfits and the ways they used them to tip the election for Biden are well laid out in this article.

Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity.

The existence of such a regulation is meaningless, however, if it is not enforced. Consequently, this ban on campaign activities by “charitable” organizations didn’t daunt Facebook billionaire and Democrat Party patron Mark Zuckerberg and his wife when they plotted a massive campaign to swing the 2020 presidential election in favor of the Democrat, Joe Biden.

The Facebook couple donated to two left-wing tax-exempt foundations “with the intention of tipping the result to Biden by launching “get-out-the-vote” campaigns focused on Democrat precincts in battleground states.” And they achieved that purpose.

The authors contend that none of these travesties could have taken place “without the seditious collusion of I.R.S. Commissioner Charles Rettig and his 63,000 agents“ who neglect their duty to protect our tax laws and elections.

I find their argument compelling. On the one hand, they tied the hands of the Tea Party, on the other, they put on blinders to the patent corruption of the BLM and Zuckerberg-funded outfits.

Our President Retarded….Our Vice President Dense? Our Congress Incompetent?

KAMALA’S LATEST DEEP THOUGHTS

Vice President Kamala Harris has offered up fresh profundities, this time on the manner in which we will all “work together,” though there is no reference to the time frame, as in, whether the time to work together is now, or every day, as we have been doing while working together, all the time.

You think I’m making this up? See for yourself (only 35 seconds, but it seems much longer, like time has stretched into tomorrow, or whatever):

How is it possible we are graced with such profundity in these divisive times?
