Why Did the FBI Want Joe Biden to Become President?

By John Leonard at American Thinker:

Just imagine for a moment that Donald Trump, Jr. (or Eric) sat on the board of directors for a foreign company and “earned” millions of dollars for literally doing nothing. He didn’t know the industry and didn’t speak the language. The only thing Junior brought to the table was his last name. He made deals with foreign agents and foreign corporations to acquire rare materials like cobalt (used in electric cars) that was sold to Chinese interests for profit. While on an extended drug binge, he took a computer with lots of incriminating evidence to a repair shop and forgot or didn’t care what he’d done with it. Then he ignored all the calls from the shop telling him to come pick up his computer. That would be huge news, wouldn’t it?

Of course, Donald Trump, Sr. would be crucified. The media coverage would be nonstop. After years of witch hunts, they would finally have legitimate criminal behavior to investigate. The thousands of hours of airtime devoted to fake scandals would finally have paid off.

But change the name from Donald Trump, Jr. to Hunter Biden and the political party that stands to suffer from the revelations from Republican to Democrat, and the media becomes curiously uninterested in doing their job, which is to report the truth: That Hunter Biden is the bagman for the Biden family crime syndicate. The latest Twitter Files information drop proves it. Not only has Hunter’s corrupt and criminal business deals been exposed, the extraordinary lengths to which the FBI acted to suppress a true story have been exposed, too.

FBI agents swear to an oath of office that reads, “I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Please remember that oath as we now talk about the latest development in the ongoing saga known as Hunter Biden laptop information found in The Twitter Files. If you haven’t been following the Twitter Files information drops before now, you need to start immediately.  The latest release curated by Michael Shellenberger is absolutely stunning. The quick summary is that the FBI does not look good. They look terrible. In fact, they look like criminals. The FBI have been operating a lot more like a crime syndicate than federal law enforcement, and they have been keenly interested in suppressing free speech on social media. Words such as “infuriating” are entirely inadequate to convey the feelings of outrage and anger I’m experiencing right now.

The FBI has been controlling what you and I have been allowed to say on the Internet. The Bureau had a bunch of “former” employees on Twitter’s payroll actively helping suppress free speech on their platform. The FBI had secret channels of communication between an agency of them and a privately-owned social media company that were used exclusively to control the public narrative about an election-changing event. The FBI also paid Twitter millions of taxpayer dollars to suppress our own free speech. Is this a great country, or what?

Who or what authorized them, a federal agency, to spend my tax dollars on manipulating social media to deliberately advance a false narrative about Hunter’s laptop?  It’s difficult to find the right words to describe the depths of their corruption that has now been exposed for the whole world to see, but I’m certainly going to try my best. “Unbelievable” isn’t a very good descriptor either, because we have tons of evidence that proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the FBI took extraordinary measures to manipulate the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden.

Here’s what we now know about Hunter Biden’s laptop: the FBI subpoenaed and took possession from a computer repair store in Delaware on Dec. 9, 2019. With the resources at their disposal, the FBI could have easily verified the computer was real and the information stored on it was accurate the very same day. A small team led by investigative journalist Peter Schweizer managed to verify the data within a couple of days, as the New York Post had done in the now-famous article published Oct. 14, 2020, that social media immediately suppressed as “Russian disinformation” because the FBI told them it was Russian disinformation, even though the social media companies themselves had no evidence of such traffic and certainly should have known better. But did they care? Of course not.

Twitter had become quite the popular landing spot for former Bureau employees, but one employee in particular stands out: James Baker, an FBI counsel during the “Russian collusion” hoax investigation that plagued the Trump administration. The very same guy who approved the falsely altered Carter Page FISA warrant was caught filtering the information being meted to journalists Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, and Shellenberger. He’s the primary focus of my rage this morning.

A question popped into my head: how could these people possibly think they could get away with a conspiracy like this and corruption to this degree? But then it occurred to me that they have been getting away with it and no one has yet to suffer a consequence of note – Kevin Clinesmith received probation for deliberately lying on government documents in order to produce incriminating evidence against a U.S. citizen coincidentally named Carter Page. James Wolfe only received two months in prison for leaking classified information to his lover in the media and lying to the FBI about it. Meanwhile, people who simply walked through the Capitol building on January 6 continue to rot in prison.

Yes, they have gotten away with it. Joe Biden has been installed as president and will serve two more years. It is highly doubtful that any of the corrupt actors involved in undermining the Trump administration at every turn and propping up Joe Biden will ever face the consequences their actions deserve. People like former FBI officials Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok are being rewarded with lucrative jobs in the media instead of prison sentences. There is no justice in this world. I’m not merely infuriated, I’m apoplectic with rage.

If Elon Musk had not bought Twitter and brought all this damning information to light, we never would have known for sure.  We could suspect all we wanted, but without the proof, no smoking guns, we couldn’t say for sure the FBI remained corrupt under Christopher Wray and written off his ineptitude to gross incompetence rather than corruption. Musk is a true (South) African/American hero, and I sincerely hope he’s got the best personal security in the world.

Another question popped into my head: why was the FBI working so feverishly to get the Biden administration into the White House, when they had to know how horribly corrupt the whole family was? Remember they took possession of the evidence on Dec. 9, 2019.

The most obvious answer that comes to my mind is that was the administration, particularly the intelligence community, knew he was the candidate they could control. Conservatives left and right are being arrested and prosecuted for ridiculous reasons, crimes against conservatives aren’t being investigated, and the truth is being filtered and distorted to the point that it is unrecognizable. We’ve long suspected FBI corruption, and now we have irrefutable proof that it has been happening and continues to happen. It was to preserve their power at all costs. Perhaps the only truth Chuck Schumer ever told was when he famously warned Trump that the intelligence community had “six ways from Sunday” to come after him, and would do so, to protect its fiefdom.

This leads one to an obvious conclusion: the FBI have become the American Stasi. As of today, I have become very distrustful and afraid of my own government. I halfway expect my house to be raided and my own arrest coming for the crime of speaking truth to power.

Only one word accurately describes the crime the FBI has committed, and that word is treason.

May the punishment fit the crime.

Plenty of Grievances to Air This Christmas Season

By Brian C. Joondeph at American Thinker:

It has been a tough few years, first with COVID then an economy blasted by inflation and recession. Most Americans are hoping for a shiny present under the American Christmas tree this year. But will it be a lump of coal instead? In the spirit of Festivus, let’s air some grievances.

How do Americans feel about the current direction of the United States? Rasmussen Reports asked likely U.S. voters if the country is heading in the right or wrong direction. Only 35 percent think we are going in the right direction, compared to 60 percent who believe we are heading in the wrong direction. Americans say “bah-humbug” to those running the country, both Democrats and Republicans.

What might Americans be concerned about as we enter the holiday season? Plenty. Rather than the 12 days of Christmas, how about the 12 days of discontent? It’s time to air some grievances, in no particular order as “all grievances matter”.

Those illegally crossing our borders can harbor myriad infectious diseases, but those who live in America must be vaccinated, boosted multiple times, wear a mask, and stay six feet away from every other human being in order to participate in society.

Foreigners who want to visit the U.S. to see their families, vacation, and spend their own money must wait years for a visa application appointment, but those crossing the border illegally receive free food, housing, clothing, healthcare, and education immediately.

Doctors and engineers who want to work in America for the benefit of America must take myriad exams, fill out endless paperwork, and wait for years for possible approval. But any illiterate, unskilled migrant or criminal can stroll into the U.S. to hurt and certainly not help America.

We cannot count the number of Americans in America for the census, but our borders are wide open for anyone in the world to enter America and be supported by the same Americans we cannot count.

Russians somehow influencing our elections is wrong, but it’s perfectly fine for Russians, Mexicans, Africans, or anyone else from anywhere else to vote in our elections.

We must pretend a man dressing as a woman is really a woman, and pretend along with him, or risk being called horrible names if we point out the obvious. Those who can’t define “a woman” celebrate a woman Supreme Court justice and eagerly await a woman president.

Friends and family have become hostile and dismissive over differing opinions about Trump, masks, vaccines, election integrity, and all things political. Those who scream the loudest for diversity and inclusion want nothing of the sort in their own lives, preferring no diversity or inclusion, eliminating those with alternative perspectives.

One must be 21 years old to buy beer or cigarettes, but one can vote at age 18, and get an abortion or have gender mutilation surgery as an early teen.

Trump tweeting that he wouldn’t attend Biden’s inauguration was an incitement to violence and sedition, on par with Hitler or the Christchurch, New Zealand shooter, according to Twitter executives, leading Twitter to ban the leader of the free world from one of the world’s largest media platform. But the Ayatollah Khamenei calling Israel “a malignant cancerous tumor…that has to be removed and eradicated” is an acceptable tweet and not worthy of tweet deletion or banning according to the same Twitter executives.

Those who have never owned slaves must pay reparations to those who never were slaves. Along the same lines, those who never attended college should pay the tuition costs of those who went to college but did not learn enough to earn enough to pay back their own loans.

Vice President Joe Biden can threaten and blackmail Ukraine with impunity but when President Donald Trump asked about it, he was impeached.

A few billion dollars to protect the Southern border of America is too expensive, but over $100 billion to protect Ukraine’s border with Russia is still not enough.

Antifa and BLM activists could gather and riot in large groups during the height of COVID-19, but children could not attend school in person.

Children dying of heart attacks is blamed on video games and considered perfectly normal. Hundred of young healthy athletes and non-athletes dropping dead suddenly is attributed to global warming. Anyone questioning this is told to shut up.

Prescription drugs taken by millions of individuals for decades with minimal if any adverse effects were going to kill us, but experimental gene therapy was deemed “safe and effective” and required for work, school, and travel, even in young children at virtually zero risk from the causative virus.

If you are vaccinated and the vaccines work as advertised, then why does it matter if the person next to you is wearing a mask or not? If I had the measles vaccine, I am not concerned whether those around me might have measles. If the vaccines don’t prevent infection, then why are they mandated?

If you are wearing a mask and masks stop viral transmission, then why does it matter if the person next to you is not wearing a mask or is unvaccinated? If the masks don’t stop viral transmission, then why were they mandated in public spaces or on airplanes?

Sam Bankman-Fried was arrested as he “orchestrated a years-long fraud”. He “built a house of cards on a foundation of deception” and created “a limitless line of credit funded by customer assets”. He also used his fund as his “personal piggy bank,” and “He hid from investors and customers that he used the funds to buy luxury condos, support political campaigns, and make private investments.”

Change “SBF” to most members of Congress, Biden cabinet officials, Clinton, Pelosi, or Biden family members, and this behavior is perfectly acceptable, and hardly grounds for indictment or arrest.

Journalists cheered when Twitter banned the New York Post for discussing the Hunter Biden laptop. But when those journalists were themselves suspended from Twitter for doxing Elon Musk’s family, putting them at danger, the caterwauling was deafening, and the Constitution was suddenly important sacrosanct and under threat.

It is indeed an upside-down world with little making sense. In the season of hope and joy, things are more chaotic than ever. While we may wish for an exciting new toy under the American Christmas tree in a few weeks, instead we receive doubletalk, lies, and a big lump of coal. Let’s hope for a Christmas miracle.

Both Dems and Reps Who Have Always Hated President Trump GO INTO DEM ACTION OF CORRUPTION!

DECEMBER 19, 2022 BY JOHN HINDERAKER at Power Line:

CLIMAX OF A FARCE

It was a foregone conclusion that Nancy Pelosi’s absurd “January 6 Committee” would recommend to the Department of Justice that it bring criminal charges against Donald Trump. That was always the point. For the record, the committee’s referral includes obstructing an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the government–whatever that means–and inciting or assisting an insurrection.

It is common for Congressional committees to send such referrals to the Justice Department. Usually little or no publicity attends these actions, and usually DOJ ignores the referrals. In this case, I think it sadly probable that our corrupt Attorney General, Merrick Garland, will proceed to indict Trump. I assume that he has long been a party to this plan.

I don’t have much to say about the proposed charges. Maybe we will discuss them in detail as they take more tangible shape. For now, I will just note that there was no insurrection. The Democrats’ hysterical mischaracterization of a demonstration to which not a single person thought to bring a firearm as an “insurrection” has always been the lie at the heart of the January 6 farce. And the fact that Donald Trump sought legal means to challenge initial vote counts is not blameworthy, let alone criminal. Just ask Al Gore.

Assuming that Garland is in on the plot and proceeds to indict Trump, there is a strong probability that he will be convicted of something. Presumably the prosecution will be venued in Washington, D.C., where Trump is deeply unpopular. A trial, if there is one, will take place in a lynch mob atmosphere analogous to the one in which Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder here in Minnesota. Some people take seriously the idea that Trump could be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024. I think that in 2024, he is more likely to be in prison, or fighting an unjust conviction on appeal.

There is nothing about this story that can be understood outside the context of the unprecedented and uniquely malicious hatred that the Democratic Party and, more broadly, the American establishment, has harbored toward Trump since he emerged as a political figure. The “January 6 Committee,” and the criminal prosecution that likely will ensue, represent a bleak chapter in our country’s history.
