Prager University…..”The Electoral College” to Keep the United States UNITED!

America’s Democrat Party’s Feminazi Wing Recently Demanded  the Elimination of the United States’ “ELECTORAL COLLEGE”!  Hillary Clinton had lost the November, 2016 Presidential Election according to the FEDERAL LAW of our American  nation since 1801.

Without the establishment of the “Electoral College” there most likely  would  never have been a Republic called the  “UNITED STATES of America” without wars!   Comprises had to be made to satisfy the ‘power’ of the more populated states, such as massive Virginia, yet respect the existence of the needs of those states such as Rhode Island, Delaware,  and Connecticut, and soon after the 13 Colonies becoming states, tiny  Vermont and New Hampshire.  Therefore the male wisdom of that era of the birth of our Nation, a bicameral legislature was agreed upon….the Senate,  where the States would be equal in number (2) in the upper chamber, the Senate, and be awarded membership relative to their populations in the House of Representatives where mob rule could fight things out based upon the State’s population: with each state awarded one Representative.   Today’s ‘bullies’ in the House are from California…..with 53 members,  Texas, with 36,  and New York and Florida each with 27.

Each state’s Electoral College vote depends upon the total number of Senators and Representatives determined by  the general population of citizens registered in each state….

Census taking occurs every ten years.    Why do you think the fascist leftists who  own California these  days are circling their wagons around those millions of illegal immigrants they are amassing for the 2020 decade?

Do You Understand the Electoral College?

Do you understand what the Electoral College is? Or how it works? Or why America uses it to elect its presidents instead of just using a straight popular vote? Author, lawyer and Electoral College expert Tara Ross does, and she explains that to understand the Electoral College is to understand American democracy.

Will Congress Republicans Ever Do Their Duty to Act to End Border Crisis?

Dereliction of duty: The border crisis is Congress’ fault

When historians look back to this era, they will wonder why we insisted on outsourcing our border control to a foreign country.

President Trump’s threat to close down the borderwith Mexico isn’t a sign of strength, but of frustration fading into desperation.

He is reacting with understandable alarm at a spiraling migrant crisis on the border, and looking to Mexico to address it because we are unwilling to do it on our own — not unable, unwilling.

There were more than 100,000 apprehensions at the border in March, an increase from the 76,000 in February. The numbers for both months were the highest in 10 years. The total for the fiscal year could hit a million, a historic surge completely overwhelming our capabilities.

We built our border facilities to hold single men, back when illegal migrants were largely adult males from Mexico, rather than family units from Central America. This means that they are ill-suited for the needs of women and children. Regardless, the sheer numbers are leading to authorities releasing migrants almost as soon as they are caught.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen warned Congress last week of “the real-time dissolution of the immigration system.”

It’s not that border control has been tried and failed; it hasn’t been tried. Thanks to court decrees and congressional enactments, we don’t permit ourselves to quickly return minors from Central American countries, or to detain them for any significant period of time. They get released, along with the adults accompanying them.

The asylum process is broken. The initial so-called credible-fear interview to determine whether asylum-seekers get to the next step of the process approves almost all of them, even if they are unlikely ultimately to win asylum. In the meantime, they are waved into the country and probably never removed.

The migrants coming in increasing numbers realize we are helpless to exclude them, and indeed, surrender to border patrol agents when they get here.

Congress could fix all this in an afternoon, with a few key changes in the law. Trump has a Nancy Pelosi problem much more than an Andrés Manuel López Obrador problem. But, since Pelosi is unmovable, Trump has to try to work the Mexican president.

Mexico has done more to play ball with the US under Trump than most people would have thought possible, yet all the migrants showing up at our border are still traveling through the country. Mexico doesn’t make controlling these migrants a high priority because they will end up here, not there.

The talk of cutting off the border isn’t aimed at the migrants, who largely don’t come through ports of entry, but at forcing the Mexican government to do more. Maybe the mere threat of the resulting economic disruption will work.

But if Trump goes through with closing the border, the strategy has some of the same weaknesses as the government shutdown earlier this year. Where does it end? If Mexico doesn’t act quickly, how long are we going to keep the border closed?

The longer it’s closed, the more pain will be felt in the US economy at a time when there are already signs of softness. What if Mexico initially buckles, then backslides? Will we shut down the border again, or threaten to?

Even if this gambit were guaranteed to succeed, it’s insane that a sovereign country of unparalleled power has tied its own hands such that it must try to bully and cajole a foreign nation to do immigration enforcement for it.

In a more rational world, Congress would take seriously the spectacle of US officials — and humanitarian organizations — scrambling to handle a flood of humanity showing up every day, and give them the legal authorities and resources to get the situation under control. That it won’t is a dereliction of duty of the highest order.

President Trump’s Outstanding Teaching and Learning Skills Seeking Truth and Consequences!

MUELLER AND TRUMP, PART 2

by John Hinderaker  at PowerLine:

Scott wrote last week about Byron York’s revealing podcast with John Dowd, who represented President Trump during a substantial portion of Trump’s dealings with special counsel Robert Mueller. Byron has now posted, on Ricochet, the second installment of his interview with Dowd. He writes about it here. An excerpt:

In our earlier talk, Dowd stressed that the Trump White House fully cooperated with Mueller’s investigation, and that on more than one occasion Trump instructed Dowd to inform Mueller that the president respected the prosecutor’s work. But how could one say Trump fully cooperated when the president was, at the same time, loudly denouncing the probe as a “witch hunt” and a “hoax,” and bashing Mueller’s prosecutors as “17 angry Democrats”?

The answer lay in Trump’s longtime habit of operating on two levels. On the surface, Trump sets off controversies, often using Twitter to say something outrageous that sets the media agenda and leaves some commentators with their hair on fire. At the same time, below the surface, Trump is actually taking steps to get a particular job done.

That was true with the Russia probe. For public consumption, Trump was denouncing Mueller and trashing his team. Behind the scenes, Trump was cooperating and making sure his staff did the same. The Trump White House offered everyone (except, of course, the president himself) to be interviewed, and reams and reams of documents that other White Houses might have withheld on the grounds of executive or other privilege. So Trump simultaneously attacked and cooperated.

Asked about the attacks, Dowd said Mueller understood that Trump had to mount a political defense on the Russia issue. “Bob understood this, it was political,” Dowd said. ” [Trump] had to handle the political side, and that was his way of doing it with his tweets and his comments … Bob was a big boy about the political side of it. He understood the president had to address the politics of it. He couldn’t just say nothing. People were pounding him about this thing every day, both privately and publicly, and he had to take [Mueller] on.”

Interesting. Hypothesis: Trump adopts the persona of a vain and boastful man who overestimates his own abilities, because it is the surest way to cause his opponents to underestimate him.

Dem Ditsy Fascists Blame Christchurch Murders in New Zealand on Trump Republicans…..!

OBSERVATIONS ON CHRISTCHURCH

by John Hinderaker    at PowerLine:

We haven’t written anything about the Christchurch, New Zealand, massacre. There probably isn’t much to say. Nevertheless, a few observations.

1) Liberals wasted no time trying to make political hay out of the slaughter. The deplorable Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tied the murders to President Trump. It is noteworthy that liberals attribute almost superhuman powers to Donald Trump, attributing responsibility to him for pretty much anything that goes on in the world. The only phenomena for which the Left does not assign responsibility to the president are the intended, beneficent results of his own policies.

2) Brenton Tarrant published a typical mass murderer’s manifesto in which he described himself as an “eco-fascist,” expressed hatred for conservatism and said that Communist China is his ideal country. Tarrant is an environmentalist who bought the global warming hype hook, line and sinker. His closest analogy is perhaps the Unabomber.

Why focus on immigration and birth rates when climate change is such a huge issue?

Because they are the same issue, the environment is being destroyed by over population, we Europeans are one of the groups that are not over populating the world. The invaders are the ones over populating the world. Kill the invaders, kill the overpopulation and by so doing save the environment.

But poring over the ravings of lunatics to find ideological meaning is basically useless, like examining the entrails of a chicken in search of omens.

3) From a policy standpoint, the only lesson that can be drawn from the Christchurch massacre is reflected in the difference in the casualty totals between the two attacks. Forty-one were killed at the Dean Ave. mosque, the first one that was targeted, where the murderer had plenty of time and at one point returned to his vehicle to reload. There were only seven killed at the Linwood mosque because one of the worshippers was armed:

A second shooting happened at a mosque in the Linwood area of the city.

One Friday prayer goer returned fire with a rifle or shotgun.

Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots around 1.45 pm.

A well known Muslim local chased the shooters and fired two shots at them as they sped off.

He was heard telling police officers he was firing in “self defence”.

Early reports of catastrophic events like these always turn out to be wrong in some respects, but it does appear that armed self-defense was the key to the less tragic outcome at Linwood. Murder is the result of human evil and will never be eradicated in this world, but if more people arm themselves, there will be fewer mass murder events.

Note from ghr:   Near East Coptic Christians have been murdered by Islamists  in  the tens of thousands in the Near East the past two decades, but America’s newsprint and television empires have never given the slaughters much attention……even in the
“fair and balance” world.   We read in Leftist Republican owned fascistic StarTribune this morning’s edition, “MASSACRE WAS FUELED BY HATE”…..followed by “Self-described racist, fascist, killed 49 in New Zealand mosque attacks” for a sub title……even though racist and fascist are neither very  truthful nor accurate adjectives to apply unless readers are given far more information about the race and politics of the victims who, we  were told, were Muslims.   Perhaps the victims in New Zealand  included white Muslims.

We have a lot of Islamists in Minnesota these days….most from Somalia, most in Minneapolis.   The most popular Islamist in the US Congress is well known, loud speaking DEMOCRAT  Islamist, Ilhan Omar who represents Minneapolis’s 5th District.

The Washington Post and New York Times are the major majorettes reporting front ten page news at today’s Mpls StarTribune……which is owned by a RINO.

Jobs!! What the Pelosi Fascistic American Press Bans from the American Brain!

Shutdown? What Shutdown? US Adds 304,000 Jobs In January

(Note:  Remember fellow Americans!  It is inherent in the human female animal to disdain, not practice,  seeking TRUTH!   She is born to feel, to judge, and embellish, cherish, express feelings, seek comfort and safety  for her (God given family she  by Nature or Nature’s God, is driven to bear.  Her  primary purpose in life on Earth is to secure her ability, skills, affection to bear,  deliver and protect her young  children of  the human species in order to continue that species.

The human male animal has  been, and still is  born, even trained to be  a killer, a protector, a builder, an inventor,  driven to protect his own, his family,  his tribe, his nation.    I felt that drive in its milder form that moment, being raised Christian, being married, the moment our first child was born, and repeated at the birth of the two that followed…..and have felt so about them  nearly everyday since “in rain or shine, in joy or sorrow!”

However, that American family and its culture barely  exists in our year AD2019.   There has been  no time for it, no room for it, no learning for it.  We in a Pelosi world where Truth has neither meaning nor existence.  In AD2016 the rising American  “fascistics” drove their Hillary down the American political throat……but the United States of America DID NOT SWALLOW IT!

ON THAT 8TH OF NOVEMBER, ALONG CAME DONALD J. TRUMP!!  AND  WE HAVE BECOME BLESSED!!

(Let us review the “horrors” of the five-week shutdown the fascistic Dems have perpetrated upon today’s American…its citizens and its 20,000,000 Dem invaders intended to increase the power of their  fascism for America).

The following article by Ed Morrissey occurred in HotAir:

If the five-week shutdown had any impact on the economy, employers overlooked it — in droves. In January, the US added the most jobs in nearly a year, as the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported net job creation for the month at 304,000. Unemployment rose a little higher to 4.0% as temporary layoffs surged in the public sector due to the shutdown:

SEE ALSO: Elizabeth Warren to Cherokee Nation: Sorry about that DNA test

Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 304,000 in January, and the unemployment rate edged up to 4.0 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Job gains occurred in several industries, including leisure and hospitality, construction, health care, and transportation and warehousing.

Both the unemployment rate, at 4.0 percent, and the number of unemployed persons, at 6.5 million, edged up in January. The impact of the partial federal government shutdown contributed to the uptick in these measures. Among the unemployed, the number who reported being on temporary layoff increased by 175,000. This figure includes furloughed federal employees who were classified as unemployed on temporary layoff under the definitions used in the household survey.

The labor force participation rate remained above 63% for the second straight month, demonstrating that more of the old overhang has been reversed:

RECOMMENDED

The labor force participation rate, at 63.2 percent, and the employment-population ratio, at 60.7 percent, changed little over the month; both measures were up by 0.5 percentage point over the year.

The former number had been stuck around 62.7% for five years or more. Analysts insisted that the generationally low number was the result of the leading edge of Baby Boomer retirement, but the growth in that number over the past year strongly suggests that workers are reentering the labor force as jobs open up. It matches a similar growth in the employment-population ratio that had been stuck in the 59+% range since the Great Recession until January 2017. It has grown almost a full point over the past two years.

Over the same period, wages have begun rising after years of stagnation. The BLS reports that wages have increased 3.2% over the past year after a modest rise in January. That also suggests that a labor overhang was keeping wage growth down, and that we have either eliminated or greatly reduced that overhang in the past couple of years.

Today’s results blew far past Reuters’ predictions, even accounting for a downward revision for November and December:

Nonfarm payrolls jumped by 304,000 jobs last month, the largest gain since February 2018, the Labor Department said. Job growth was boosted by hiring at construction sites, retailers and business services as well as at restaurants and hotels.

But data for November and December was revised down to show 70,000 fewer jobs created than previously reported. The economy needs to create roughly 100,000 jobs per month to keep up with growth in the working-age population.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast payrolls increasing by 165,000 jobs in January.

CNBC noted that the results are counterintuitive, especially considering the season:

https://player.cnbc.com/p/gZWlPC/cnbc_global?playertype=synd&byGuid=7000063300&size=530_298

January job growth shatters expectations from CNBC.

Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had expected payrolls to rise by 170,000 and the unemployment rate to hold steady at 3.9 percent.

In all, it was a powerful performance at a time when economists increasingly have said they expect growth to slow in 2019. January marked 100 months in a row of positive job creation, by far the longest streak on record.

It’s a bonanza of a report for Donald Trump, a solid win on the economy — and a much-needed change of subject on the shutdown. The report demonstrates that worry over the economic impact of the shutdown was mostly exaggerated, at least up to the point when it ended. Had air traffic snarled any further, it likely would have had bad impacts on job growth in February, but for the most part the shutdown didn’t have an impact outside of those directly affected by the furlough.

Can the economy maintain this momentum? Trump needs months like these in September and October 2020 more than he needs them in January 2019. But the White House will still be glad to see this now nonetheless, and they should be.

Despite Dem Leftists, There Still Is A BILL of RIGHTS in Our America!

What the Government Can’t Do to You

Bill of Rights Day was December 15, the anniversary of that addition to our Constitution in 1791.  Those ten amendments set forth our civil liberties.  That is to say, it protects us from our own government, setting forth in the supreme law of the land what our government may not do to us.

An editorial in the Augusta (Georgia) Chronicle makes that point.  And I appreciate how the editorial writer paraphrased each of the ten amendments in vivid, easy-to-understand language:

‒ Congress can’t pass any law about your religion; or keep you from practicing that religion. Congress can’t restrict what you say or publish. If you want the government to change something, citizens can gather peacefully and express their thoughts as a group.

‒ You can own and carry weapons.

‒ Soldiers can’t live in your house, unless Congress approves it during wartime.

‒ You, your house or your possessions can’t be searched unless a judge cites a specific probable cause.

‒ You can’t go on trial for a serious crime unless a jury says there’s enough evidence. If you’re found innocent, the government can’t retry you. You don’t have to say anything during your trial. You can’t be punished unless a jury convicts you. Unless the government compensates you fairly, it can’t take your possessions.

‒ If you’re arrested, either you get a quick public trial or they can’t unfairly detain you. A jury of your peers can help try you, and you get a careful explanation of what you’re accused of [and] who’s accusing you. And the government provides you a lawyer a lawyer.

‒ You have the right to a jury in a civil case, too.

‒ Excessive bail or fines, and cruel and unusual punishment, are prohibited.

‒ You have other rights, even if they’re not spelled out in the Constitution.

‒ Any power not specifically given to Congress rests with the states or the people.

How do you think we’re doing with these?

“You can’t be punished unless a jury convicts you.”  No “excessive fines.”  What about the fines and other punishments exacted not by a jury but by a federal agency for violating a federal regulation?  “You don’t have to say anything during your trial.”  But don’t prosecutors get around that by manipulative plea bargaining?  Did General Flynn enjoy this protection?  “Unless the government compensates you fairly, it can’t take your possessions.”  How about the practice, which has become commonplace here in Oklahoma, of police confiscating vehicles and other property of people suspected (not convicted) of breaking drug laws?

Note that the second amendment–“You can own and carry weapons”–refers specifically to the right to “keep” arms (that is, to possess them) and to “bear” arms (that is, to carry them).  Note that the full amendment, below, refers not to hunting but to a “militia,” the citizen’s military organizations that were alternatives in the early days of the republic to a standing army.  But the weapons referred to are not being stored in an armory.  Rather, citizens have the right to “keep” and “bear” them.  And wouldn’t the militia context specifically allow for military weapons, at least the portable ones that a citizen could “keep” and “bear”?

Devious Fascist, Communist Trillionaire Dem America Hater George Soros, Finally Makes the Headlines…..about a bomb!!!!

Communist fascist Hungarian George Soros, age 85 plus, has bought and built the communist fascist wing of our once Democratic, Democrat Party over the past two decades.   Money was his bag….Communism was his fascist religion.  America was to be his victim.

He owns today’s   Charles Schumer’s and Nancy Pelosi’s heartless and soulless hate Americana core of the once honorable Democratic Party with the Richard Blumenthal, Adam Schiff, Al Sharpton, Dianne Feinstein, the New York Times, Washington Post core, America’s television news core, its educational empire from Kindergarten to the Fascist Arts Departments and universities from coast to coast.

Trillionaire George had a “bomb” piece found NEAR his  trillion dollar estate in New York the other day…..My, how convenient!  Trillionaire George wasn’t doing so well with his Dem  hate-Trump world he had bought to defeat  this coming November national election.   His crooked Hillary, Charlie Schumer, MoveOn.Org and billions couldn’t buy the 2016 Presidential election he and other fascists had anticipated.

More recently his Dems rallied  their feminist-feminazi crowd with Dem  Senator Dianne Feinstein’s last minute  presentation of a  mentally troubled female doctor to disrupt the President’s choice of an honorable, distinguished, conservative American JudeoChristian judge selected for the Supreme Court .

Trouble, trouble, trouble for George’s future fascist communist America!!

So, what could be  next on the trillionaire George world’s slate to destroy our American republic?……the nation’s sympathy?!?!

How about a bomb…..One near his own estate!?!  (One that doesn’t ‘go off’ too close to Communist George!)

What about  a bomb thing delivered not far from crooked Hillary and Obama-lover Obama a week or two before national elections?  With Dems owning Congress, that’ll help  get rid of that Donald, for sure!!

How could George’s world  fail to operate such a juicy, brilliant coup regaining its fascist control of Congress and the removal of its enemy number one, Our Donald Trump from the White House and kill democratic Uncle Sam once and for all!

The George Soros fascist New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, PBS, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, and their ilk, will finally have their “American day in their fascist court”.  They still have more than ten days to play bomb games at the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Washington Post for more voter sympathy!
