Socialist Ditsy “Eliza” Warren Not a Socialist…..Just Ditsy?

No, No, No. Elizabeth Warren Is Not a Socialist

Joe Nocera at  YAHOO  –   Bloomberg:

(Bloomberg Opinion) — A press release from Elizabeth Warren landed in my inbox last Friday morning. It came not from her presidential campaign but from her Senate office, and it concerned a subject that doesn’t often claim the attention of U.S. senators, much less leading contenders in a presidential race.

The subject was bond ratings.

“Senator Warren to SEC,” read the headline. “Do Your Job. Crack Down on Dangerous Inflated Bond Ratings.” The press release was sparked by recent “troubling reports of inflated bond ratings and the perverse incentives within the bond rating industry.” It pointed out that poorly-rated mortgage-backed securities caused “millions of Americans to lose their jobs, homes and savings” during the financial crisis — yet a decade later “ratings agencies are continuing to rubber stamp risky products.”

The press release linked to the letter Warren had sent to Jay Clayton, the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and it was a doozy. Three and a half single-spaced pages, heavily footnoted, it offered a detailed analysis of the damage those triple A-rated subprime securities had done to the economy in 2008. And it reminded Clayton that the 2010 Dodd-Frank financial reform law had established an Office of Credit Ratings within the SEC that was charged with promoting accurate bond ratings. What, Warren asked Clayton, was the SEC doing about this growing problem?

As it happens, the day before Warren issued her press release, CNBC ran a story saying that big-money Democrats on Wall Street – that is, the people Democratic presidential nominees rely on every four years — were threatening to either sit out the 2020 race, or support Donald Trump, if Warren were the nominee.  (Hillary Clinton received more than $64 million from the financial services industry in 2016.)

One anonymous Wall Street executive (shocker: nobody was willing to speak on the record to CNBC) said that he and his fellow Wall Street Democrats “will not support her. It would be like shutting down their industry.” CNBC linked to a video of Jim Cramer, one of its in-house stars, saying bluntly: “She has to be stopped.”

And early last week, a strategist with AGF Investments put out a note to clients saying that “investors should be more concerned” about the prospect of a Warren presidency than about any “fallout” from Trump’s phone call to the president of the Ukraine. After all, the strategist, Greg Valliere, told Bloomberg News, the Robert Mueller investigation hadn’t affected markets, so the impeachment inquiry probably wouldn’t either.

Ah, but Elizabeth Warren — she’d be a disaster for stocks!  After all, she wants to force private equity firms to take more responsibility for the workers whose companies they take over; to cancel student debt that is putting college graduates behind the eight-ball; to recreate the Glass-Steagall Act and once again separate investment and commercial banking; and to eliminate the “tricks and traps” that the financial services industry often uses to stick consumers with excessive fees. Oh, and let’s not forget: Warren wants to impose a 2% tax on any household with a net worth over $50 million and a 3% tax on households worth over $1 billion. That’s gotta be a stock market killer. Right?

I understand that markets are central to Wall Street, but it’s a bit much when it tends to view everything through the prism of stocks and bonds. If World War III were to break out, you half expect Wall Street strategists to react with notes asking “What does it mean for the market?” (Which they would, of course; that’s a fundamental part of their job. I’m simply asking that they take other forces into account as well.)In this case, what the anti-Warren Democrats are really saying is that they would prefer a president who has divided and destabilized the country — and whose phone call to Ukraine’s president was so far outside the bounds that he is likely to be impeached — than a president who would prevent them from gouging customers and taxing some of their wealth. That’s a pretty sorry commentary.

Wall Street often lumps Warren together with Senator Bernie Sanders as a “socialist.” She is nothing of the sort. As she consistently says, “I believe in markets.” She just wants them to work better. Her stance towards Wall Street reminds me of Franklin Roosevelt’s, who came into office in 1933, with banks failing and the country struggling through the Depression. By the time he died in 1945, bank customers had federal deposit insurance, commercial banks and investment banks had been separated, and the Securities and Exchange Commission had been created to regulate the markets. These three measures did a great deal to restore Americans’ faith in the nation’s financial system. But of course Wall Street hated Roosevelt too.

(Warren’s reaction to her Wall Street critics also echoes Roosevelt’s. In a speech he made in 1936, referring to his critics in the financial industry, Roosevelt said, “They are unanimous in their hate for me — and I welcome their hatred.” After Cramer made his “She’s gotta be stopped” comment, Warren treated it like a campaign ad, posting the video on Twitter and writing, “I’m Elizabeth Warren and I approve this message.”)

Big corporate tax cuts notwithstanding, Trump has been no friend to business. Think about it: He has placed pointless tariffs on goods from countries we’ve had good trading relationships with for decades. He has started a counterproductive trade war with China. His anti-immigration policy hurts everything from tech companies to poultry farms. He has consistently issued threats against Amazon.com because its chief executive, Jeff Bezos, owns The Washington Post. He has turned the Justice Department’s antitrust division into a weapon that rewards his friends and attacks his enemies. Even his deregulatory efforts can be harmful. Oil companies don’t want looser methane rules, and car companies don’t want lower gas emissions regulations — both of which the Trump administration has proposed.

According to Bloomberg News, Jeffrey Gundlach, the billionaire bond guru, predicts the chances of a recession in 2020 have risen to 75%. Suppose there is a recession next year. Do you trust Trump and his economic team to take the right steps to soften the economic blow it will deal the country? I certainly don’t.

But Elizabeth Warren? Does anyone doubt that she will be surrounded with economists who know what they are doing, as opposed to, say, Peter Navarro, who has helped the White House bungle its trade policy with China. Yes, they will be “progressive” economists in the Joe Stiglitz mold, but that also means they will care more about the effects of a recession on the middle class than on Wall Street bankers.

It’s true that many of the proposals Warren has put forward, if passed into law, would restrict what bankers can do to generate profits. They would also make them a little less rich. But those same proposals could well restore Americans faith in the financial industry — faith that has been largely absent since the financial crisis. And a 3% billionaire’s tax would allow people to see that someone in government is finally doing something to mitigate income inequality.

Jamie Dimon, the chief executive of JP Morgan Chase & Co., once said of Warren, “I don’t know that she fully understands the global banking system.” He got it exactly backwards. The reason Wall Street fears her is that she understands it all too well.

That may not offer much comfort for Wall Street executives — including those Democrats who say they prefer Trump. But it ought to be great comfort to the rest of us.

Mall of America Miracle? Five Year Old Boy Survives “Assassination” Attempt

Boy thrown from MOA balcony has ‘zero brain damage,’ his pastor says

Article from St. Paul Pioneer Press sent by California conservative, Lisa Rich:

The 5-year-old boy who was thrown from a third-floor balcony at the Mall of America on April 12 shows no signs of brain damage, according to video posted on Facebook by his family’s church.

Mac Hammond, pastor of the Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, updated his congregation on the boy’s condition on Easter Sunday.

The boy, who Hammond identified as Landen, underwent an MRI last week to determine the extent of his injuries from the nearly 40-foot fall at the Bloomington mall, according to the video.

My, WHAT A GAL!…..the Pilot of Flight 1380!

Pilot Who Safely Landed Southwest Flight 1380 Had ‘Nerves Of Steel’

by John Sexton    at  HotAir:

You’ve probably read about the near-disaster of Southwest Airlines flight 1380, which had to make an emergency landing after an engine exploded at 32,000 feet. It will be months before the NTSB releases a final report, but investigators are already saying one of the blades on a fan inside the engine had broken off. Some piece of shrapnel set loose by the broken blade struck a window leading it to shatter. That led to decompression of the cabin which sucked one woman, Jennifer Riordan, partly out of the plane. Passengers rushed to pull her back inside and then provided CPR but she was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the plane’s captain, a former Navy fighter pilot, remained extremely calm, quickly dropping the plane to an altitude where passengers could breath without masks and asking for a new heading to the nearest airport. From the NY Times:

In an instant, Captain Shults found herself in a situation most pilots face only during training: having to land a plane after an engine goes out.

For the next 40 minutes, she displayed what one passenger later called “nerves of steel,” maneuvering the plane, which had been on its way from La Guardia Airport in New York to Dallas Love Field, toward Philadelphia for an emergency landing.

In the seats behind her, passengers sent goodbye text messages to loved ones, tightened oxygen masks around their faces and braced for impact. Flight attendants frantically performed CPR on the critically injured passenger, who later died at a hospital.

But Captain Shults, 56, was in control. She learned to fly as one of the first female fighter pilots in the Navy three decades ago, piloting the F/A-18 Hornet in an era when women were barred from combat missions.

“Can you have the medical meet us there on the runway,” Captain Shults calmly told air traffic controllers in Philadelphia. “They said there’s a hole and, uh, someone went out.”

If you think maybe that “nerves of steel” line is some kind of exaggerated praise, it’s not. The audio traffic between the plane and the ground shows zero indication in Captain Shults’ voice that she is in an emergency situation. In fact, if you listen to the entire clip, you can hear some stress creeping into the voices of the other air traffic controllers but Shults remains polite and calm throughout.

Wussy Joe Biden Brags He Would Have Beaten President Trump Physically to Pulp 60 Years Ago!

by John Hinderaker  at PowerLine

Every time you think our public life can’t sink any lower, our politicians surprise you by hitting new depths. Today it was Joe Biden, boasting to an audience in Miami that if he had known Donald Trump as a high school student, he would have beaten him up:

“A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ‘I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it,’” Biden said during a speech at the University of Miami on Tuesday, according to ABC News. “They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said ‘no.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.’”

“I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life,” Biden continued.” I’m a pretty damn good athlete. Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.”

It is a weird sort of bravado for a 75-year-old man. For what it’s worth, Biden would have had his hands full with the 6′ 3″ Trump, who was an excellent athlete as a youth and was known to fight on occasion:

Trump was a standout athlete in soccer, football, and baseball. Trump’s roommate Arthur Schoenewaldt believes that Trump was so good at baseball that he could have played professionally…
Classmate Ted Levine agrees with Schoenewaldt. Levine told Business Insider that, “He was just the best, a good athlete, a great athlete. He could have probably played pro ball as a pitcher.
Another side of Trump that classmates remember is his willingness to fight.

More to the point, Slow Joe’s tirade is another reminder–not that we needed it–that Trump drives his political opponents around the bend. They say he is crude, vulgar and boorish. On occasion he is. But has Trump ever said anything as boorish as Biden’s absurd boast that in high school, he would have “beat[en] the hell out of” someone because he is a “pretty damn good athlete?” And while Trump sometimes insults people, and sometimes goes too far in doing so, I can’t remember him dishing out the equivalent of “the fattest, ugliest SOB in the room.”

The Democrats need to get a grip, but instead they seem to be falling ever deeper into blind rage.”

ghr:   Wussy Joe is a sweet but ignorant Democrat, not too witty, not too gritty……but mouthy with a smile.    Please, dear readers, look into history.   Check out the athletic abilities of the two men at any decade of their lives.

Donald Trump was not much of a wuss at the Military school he attended.   He was at the top of almost every class, every sport, every whatever in which this competitor would compete.

As with most Obama-era Democrat mouths these days, not much truth ever seems to be expressed.   How about mouthy Delaware Joe, tackling  Big Donald today!

Lil Joe’d be beheaded physically or orally  in three seconds…..

Why Does the Human Female Animal Scream by Habit When under Stress?

I still work outdoors daily  Spring, Summer, and Fall, and plan to,  God  willing,  this coming April  or earlier if weather provides.  I have artistically created a half acre of a landscape garden “paradise” featuring primarily conifer trees and shrubs, hydrangeas, redbuds, rhododendrons, azaleas and other  deciduous shrubs, countless perennials, over the past 44 years of “living here”……and one spectacular Ginkgo biloba which I planted by seed about 40 years ago, which around the thirtieth year of growth  announced she was female.

Suicidal America today is organized and dictated by the leftist fascists running school, college, university, Hollywood, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC,  PBS,  those mouthing liars  at Fox to sell things “fair and balanced”,  the coast to coast New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and 99.9%  of the rest of news circulation, including  the Google fascists who dictate their Fiction as LEFTIST  “Truth”  propagandizing  that we Americans would be better off in a culture  of one sex, THE ONE BORN DITSY, THE FEMALE.    Mankind, especially the white ones,  must be harnessed and put to eternal rest….so that the single sex, the she,  the feminist, can become universally free to be as ditsy as she wants as the Democrat today’s Pelosi Democrats really want her to be!

It is true that the human male animal is by Nature’s GOD   born to be a killer, a builder, a defender, an explorer, an inventor, THEREFORE TO SEEK TRUTH,  to be a hunter, a dreamer, a protector for his ‘realm’ to continue.

It is TRUE that the human female animal is by Nature’s GOD born to  ditsy, chosen to bear the animal’s future population,  to bear feelings, to  seek security to be protected, defended, provided nest and home, to bond with feelings  to  protect her precious off spring from early threats and dangers common to the species.

Our Dennis is a gifted teacher on these matters, but he’s an indoor person…..He’s after all Jewish! It goes with the territory.   His preachings have been the best ever, these past months with our America struggling to save itself from the leftist fascists!

While  chastising  CNN’s fascistic  television affair last night using Parkland School teenagers to perform leftist’s  propaganda verses to disarm America forever, Dennis made a comment about  the sounds of women screaming as when the  air plane they are in  decides to begin its crash to Mother Earth.   Then, he caught himself, attempting to avoid political correctness propaganda, questioning that maybe men scream under those circumstances as well .  He was being “fair and balanced”.

Our Dennis WAS correct.   The HUMAN FEMALE ANIMAL IS PROGRAMMED TO SCREAM when suddenly facing  shocking disorder and danger!!    Why is that native to her as an animal and normally  not  to the human male?

I used to be a public school teacher….it is still in my blood to know answers.  I often still teach the following while leading the many landscape garden fans who love to walk through my home grounds filled with paths, great conifers, deciduous trees  and shrubs…..

I mention we human males are born naturally  killers who must learn to become civilized, and so, seek to  perform our God-given gifts such as being born curious,  to build, to invent, defend…as mentioned above.

I then mention, or rather ask, what must the human female conquer  from her animal gifts in order to help her become civilized?   (Of course, no one ever answers, yet  the American human female animal is not  born perfect, is she?  The men, who know the true  answer, don’t want to be impolite….most of these folks visiting the garden  are over 50 in age….they still seek and believe in God and  honesty.)

The she of the human species is  born ditsy…..born with feelings, sensitivities  which often overwhelm  reality, truth.  Feelings dominate…..which, of course, is TRUE.   And feelings  can often wind up being a terrible drive for the human female animal.  She usually seeks security over all, often avoiding  problem solving!

Back to the garden grounds, my very masculine conifer filled woody, landscape garden where I guide my visitors…. What if only two adult  human animals, one male, and the other female, were deeply dreamy involved in my garden with some small task, but almost out of sight one from the other when suddenly, although unseen by both, the loudest lion-like roar both had ever heard bellowed from somewhere nearby breaking the silence.    What is HER natural reaction?

She screams!!!   It’s automatic!  She screams as if to announce prayerfully to a male nearby, “I AM IN TROUBLE!”

What would be the male response?

HUSH!  SHUT UP!!  and goes into overdrive depth seeking silence to figure out what he had just heard, what to do, to stay or run and if so, to what direction!…..BUT FIRST asks himself animal-like….”WHAT IN HELL WAS THAT!!!”  …..and he remains animal in an attempt to make the best  choice for the survival of BOTH.   He is born to protect his females and offspring.

The she of the species screams for help as she has throughout her millions of years of development….

To answer Dennis’ question, “Do men scream  when in a flight dive”…NO!  There is no instinctive reason to do so.  His brain, according to program still in flight,  is likely still frantically seeking some  doable escape for himself and his mate if she is nearby.

Trucker’s Tribute to Remember the Horror of the 9/11 Islamic Attack

Have you heard about the trucker from Minnesota who has painted his cab and trailer with the names of all those who lost their lives on 9/11?

The trucker’s name is John Holmgren from Shafer, Minnesota.  He has been ‘pulled over’ numerous times so the troopers can get their picture taken with the truck.

GOP, Schumer’s Fascists Dump Trump into Their Swamp with Spending Bill

Rush on the terrible spending bill: “Why is anybody voting Republican, if this is what happens when we win?”

by Allahpundit   at HotAir:

It’s a fair question.

I know the headline makes it sound like he’s criticizing Trump, but after a year and a half of Rush applauding him at every turn, you should know better than that by now. He sort of criticizes him. It’s the special interests who are responsible for this garbage spending bill, he insists, aided and abetted by the corrupt Republican establishment. All true enough, but how about the superhero whom America elected to impose his will on Washington and to drain the swamp? Does he bear any blame? Would Obama bear any blame on conservative talk radio if Democrats controlled Congress during his presidency and produced a bill like this?

Limbaugh concedes that Trump should be more proactive, writing his own legislation and sending it to the Hill. But what if, and bear with me here, what if Trump … just doesn’t care much about the details of legislation? That might explain why we ended up with a bizarrely anti-populist health-care bill and a series of surreal reversals on core campaign points like NATO’s obsolescence and China’s currency manipulation. What if his main concern is popularity, in the form of averting any shutdowns for which he might be blamed, instead of major policy gains?

But the dirty little secret is that there isn’t any evidence that anywhere in Washington is there any aspect of the Trump agenda on display. It doesn’t seem to be that in the House of Representatives that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It doesn’t seem in the Senate that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It does seem in the House that there is a lot of energy devoted to stopping a Trump agenda. Ditto in the Senate…

This budget is a direct slap in the face. This budget is a stop sign. And it’s throwing down the gauntlet. “You may be elected president, but you’re not getting anything. Nothing’s gonna happen here.” And if Donald Trump cannot rely on the members of his own party — are you really telling me we can’t get a replace and repeal Obamacare bill after all this time? And I don’t mean since Trump won the election; I’m talking about since it was passed seven years ago, six, whatever it is now…

I’m telling you, folks, the will isn’t there. The establishment, whatever you want to call this bunch of people, the ruling class, the establishment, the donors, whatever you want to call ’em, they’re not just gonna roll over and let Trump implement those things that he campaigned on just because he won the office, just because he won the presidency. And he’s going to have to overcome this if he’s going to be successful. And the way he’s going to have overcome it, he’s going to have to have his own staff, legislative staff in the White House that writes this legislation and muscles its way through…

I have to think he knows better than I do, better than anybody else does, ’cause he’s living it. I don’t know what his expectations were. I can believe that he expected the Republicans were gonna be deliriously happy at his victory and deliriously happy to work with him, and I fully think that he expected the Republicans to be on his team and that they would be working together to get a whole lot of this stuff done to fix and repair America and stop this descending trend that our country is in.

It’s almost as if he’s been stabbed in the back. If only there was some way the executive could block a terrible bill from becoming law. Any ideas?

Obama….America’s Faust Empty of Soul

One of the greatest pieces of music ever composed by human hands, mind, and soul is the classic opera by Frenchman, Charles Gounod, FAUST.     It has had its ups and downs in popularity since its conception in the  1800s, for the theme is centered on something dealing with the age-old conflict, the battle between good (GOD) and evil.

The opera has been dead for several generations, these recent decades in which the gods of leftism and other Nazi-like intellectual and political diseases have come to overwhelm our America…the Obama-Hillaryists…and others who have aided their drive  to kill our American experiment   we used to know and esteem its values based upon the righteousness of Judeo-Christianity.

I, thank God, am a relic of that righteousness….that righteousness rising from learnings by the human male mind in his attempt to understand  and confront the eternal human condition, its wars, in particular its wars between good and evil.

Evil has been expanding exponentially in our American being in my lifetime.    Each generation since the end of the Second World War, has become more and more ignorant regarding knowledge as the foundation between man, the civilized, and man, the animal….and therefore commanding the futures of the  communities in which our offspring will live…….What offspring are we presently creating in our once God-fearing, honor oriented, United States of America?

Intellectual thieves and deviates from the left  led by Barack Hussein Obama and his Hillary Roddham Clinton  act-alike in particular,  have commanded the scene for the past generation perpetrating their leftish hatred of our history of the American experiment.   They are the product of their black racist and sexist past , of the  leftist American university where they teach and preach hate of the AngloSaxon American male.

Where am I wrong?  ghr

Sarcasm or No….Trump is Right on Obama the Cause of ISIS

The Nazified American media has ridiculed Our Donald’s sarcasm of the Obama-Hillary team being the cause of ISIS.

Of course this Obama administration is the cause of ISIS….for abandoning the Iraqis who had relied on us, we Americans and our blood, to defend their war torn freedom from the brutal dictator, Sadaam Hussein, leaving them to bleed, victim to  the savages funded by fanatic Iran.

Yes, Obama Is a Founder of ISIS

By Daniel John Sobieski   at  American Thinker

“Before the hyperventilating begins, let me stipulate that neither President Obama or Hillary Clinton ever sat down with Islamic State chieftain Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and signed the articles of incorporation. But were it not for their actions and inactions in facilitating a precipitous withdrawal from Iraq, creating a vacuum ISIS would gladly fill, the terrorist groups’ caliphate arguably would not exist.

Trump now says he was merely being sarcastic when he said it:……..”   Please read on:

Why people vote Trump: the death of the American dream – video

“Alongside Donald Trump’s nasty rhetoric, the Republicans’ presidential hopeful has been banging on about one huge issue: US firms increasingly moving jobs abroad, and the country’s rising sense of decline. John Harris watches The Donald win the presumptive nomination in Indiana; tells the story of one doomed factory that has become a Trump cause célèbre; and talks to voters who think he’s the only option – as well as the people who think it’s all a con…….”
