Tucker Carlson addressed his own history of dealing with what he called false accusations of sexual assault on Monday’s edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight. Carlson detailed the situation with a “delusional” accountant in Indiana that threatened to accuse him of felony rape.

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS: A middle aged man going through a divorce begins dating a woman he met online. The relationship becomes torrid and eventually the man sends his girlfriend lewd text and nude photographs of himself. Several years later the two break up and in revenge, the woman shares their private correspondence with other people. Nude pictures of the man wind up on the internet and ultimately in the media. He is ridiculed and humiliated.

So who is the victim here? If you guessed the 68-year-old man whose five grandchildren can now find naked pictures of him online you obviously haven’t been reading “The Washington Post” lately. The man in question is Republican Congressman Joe Barton of Texas. And according to the “The Washington Post” he deserves to be ashamed of his, quote, “secret sex life.”

Keep in mind that nobody has accused Barton of abuse or even abuse of power. The relationship was consensual. If anything, it is Barton’s former girlfriend who may be guilty of a crime, so-called revenge porn is illegal in many places and ought to be. And yet for reasons never explained, “The Washington Post” in many other media outlets treated Barton like the heir to Harvey Weinstein even offering anonymity to the woman who overturned his life and humiliated him.

Sex abuse stories have dominated the news for the past six weeks beginning with Weinstein predators in Hollywood the media in politics have been exposed and they have been punished. And that is good news because justice is always good news and we’ll continue to bring you updates on those stories as we get them and we’re sure we will. But going forward, we should also be careful that the noble effort to end sexual harassment does not degenerate into a witch-hunt. It can happen. As “The Washington Post” just proved.

So with that in mind, two things to remember. First, anonymous accusations always lead to abuses. The right to face your accusers is the corner stone of justice and has been since ancient Rome. That’s why it’s enshrined in the Sixth Amendment in the Constitution. That’s why we ban star chambers.
We don’t allow people to accuse others of armed robbery or murder from behind the shield anonymity. Why do media outlets allow it in cases of sexual harassment?

If you are going to name the accused, you ought to name the accuser, assuming it’s an adult. News organizations are not courts. They shouldn’t take a side when guilt and innocence are in dispute. It’s too easy to get it wrong and they often do. Second, not everyone accused of a sex offense is guilty. Not every accuser is telling the truth. I learned this the hard way a number of years ago when I was accused of felony rape by a woman I had literally never even seen.

She was a certified public accountant in Indiana and upstanding member of her community and also apparently delusional. Her claims were grotesque but they were highly specific. The assault she said took place in the back room of a restaurant in Louisville on a specific day at around 10:30 p.m.
She included loads of graphic and horrifying detail. It was stomach- turning.

And, yet, none of it, one of it was true. I spent the next two months trying to stay out of jail. I couldn’t tell my children because I knew they would be ashamed. I couldn’t tell my employer because I knew I would be fired immediately. I spoke only to lawyers and I paid them spent a fortune. I took a polygraph exam from the former head polygrapher at the FBI. I never stopped worrying that the charges would become public and destroy my life.

Everyone accused of sex offense did something wrong. Everybody knows that.

And I knew no one would believe otherwise. This isn’t a defense of sexual harassment or misbehavior obviously. It is just a reminder that real life is complicated. More complicated than sermonizing on Twitter. Sometimes the mob is wrong. Sometimes the innocent are crushed. That’s always a tragedy, no matter what the charge is.

Of course, crushing the innocent may also be the point of the exercise and we are seeing that. Last week a feminist called Emily Lindin announced on Twitter that she was quote, “not at all concerned about innocent men losing their jobs in the search for perpetrators of sexual harassment.” Quote, “If some innocent men’s reputation have to take a hit in the process of undoing the patriarchy, that is a price I’m absolutely willing to pay.”

“Night after night, I stay up late watching documentaries about World War II. I’m obsessed with it. Not surprising, since it was the biggest event in the history of the human race. My father was in the Navy during the war, though to this day, I am not sure what he did. My father-in-law served in combat under Patton and was awarded the Silver Star for combat gallantry, before he was 22 years old, fighting hand to hand against the toughest of the tough, Hitler’s S.S., near Zeitlen.

The documentary I am watching right now is The War by Ken Burns. It came out ten years ago or so. I love every part of it. What I love most, though, is the portrayal of a nation totally united behind the goal of securing freedom and defending the Constitution. From every hill and hollow, every tenement and mansion, men and women fought, sacrificed, worked to defeat the incredibly powerful Nazis and Japanese. The pain and struggle that the men, women, and children of this nation went through to preserve our freedoms was literally fantastic.

I watch the men dying in Italian valleys, shot out of the sky above Schweinfurt, and tortured in Japanese prison camps, and I go to sleep deeply saddened. These wonderful people bled and died and cried for our freedom — and now we are throwing it away with both hands at what should be the bastions of freedom — the universities.

The nation’s universities have become no-go zones for people who do not hew to the one-party, anti-American, anti-police, anti-business attitudes of the violent brownshirts. Quiet, scholarly geniuses like Charles Murray and Heather Mac Donald — who dare to suggest that Americans should work for a living, who speak out in defense of the police — are shouted down, shoved, sometimes assaulted, and chased from campuses under guard. Ann Coulter — a long-time friend, staggeringly intelligent and amusing — is not permitted to speak at a University of California, Berkeley, campus, because she makes such witty, shining defenses of our great nation. This is a taxpayer-funded campus.

There’s an atmosphere of terror on campuses across the country. My beloved law school alma mater, mighty Yale, shamed itself recently by blackballing faculty who wanted to keep a sense of humor on the campus.

The formula is simple. Get a few nonwhite students to label a potential speaker a racist, whether or not there is the slightest evidence he or she is. Then bring in the looney left faculty, then bring in the women with fake charges of sexism, and soon you have a mighty avalanche against the speaker. The fascists call themselves anti-fascists, of course. But anyone with eyes and ears can see and hear who’s burning the books.

As far as I know, neither Hitler nor the Japanese ever planned to invade America. Certainly Vietnam didn’t. North Korea is a menace, but a poverty-stricken nation of 22 million is not going to subjugate us and take away our freedom……”   Please read on below:

We civilized, that is those of us older than 75,  wonder these days where  the college and university leftist enrolled  savages are coming from, both male and female and everyone in between.   We wonder what  the Black Lives Matter animals and the Madonna  feminazis of the street-left  drink for lunch to arouse their insanity to produce such ignorance and noise so frequently advertised and supported at CNN and the like.

Certainly the feminization of the social sciences at the  American University and the nation’s  Colleges of Education have caused the  abandonment of  teaching knowledge for the advancement of our  human understanding of existence,  environment, and the past.     Certainly these Obama revolutionaries at university and in sanctuary cities   are driven to create armies of  Black Racists, illegal immigrants, and  feminazis of all colors, sexes, shapes and sizes for the coming  “Peoples” revolution.

Atheism and Islamism have replaced JudeoChristianity  as the Leftist nation’s protected religions.

God only knows the number of male black savages, murderers, thieves,  vulgars of all kinds both native and illegals now in charge of geography in so many of our major  cities.    Marriage, the purpose of marriage,  the purpose of raising civilized, well educated, God-fearing off-spring free of drugs and leftist hates  has rapidly been  disappearing from our culture.    Half of our American  white community has been drawn into this same modern snake pit.  They follow politics on CNN and the like.

There is no evidence yet that America has hit ObamaBottom  whether at school, especially with the present feminist hysterics dictating college minds, or anywhere throughout the nation’s Obama sanctuary cities, or  at  CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, PBS, ABC, as well as ratings hungry Fox,  and the nation’s New York Times and Washington Post control over newsprint throughout urban America.

The first and last hope left for our once civilized United States of America still remains within the JudeoChristian  God’s family both human and religious…..a loving, civilized and responsible male father, a loving female mother raising loving, learned, Godfearing children in a traditional democratic society of well disciplined, self reliant, but Godfearing adults who know and care about their neighbors….

It is JudeoChristian Godfearing and learning knowledge we Americans  used to be  raised to rely on during our three centuries of human male growth in leadership and protection……until the anarchic revolution of the 1960s and 1970s, and its Obama/university  feminist and black Racism hate-America revolution revival of the past eight years of cultural collapse.

Cohabitation Popular in College These Days, But Half of Families with New Borns Eventually Break Up

“In a world in which cohabitation has become increasingly popular, it turns out that marriage is still, without a doubt, the societal system most deeply associated with “family stability,” according to a new analysis.

The liberal-leaning Brookings Institute recently published a report titled, “The Cohabitation-Go-Round: Cohabitation and Family Instability Across the Globe,” through the Social Trends Institute and the Institute for Family Studies, finding that co-habitating parents are much more likely to split up than are married couples.

It’s a paradigm that could be seen as quite problematic, considering the report’s claim that family structures are changing around the globe, with marriage becoming “less common.”

Still, the report indicates that in most countries today the majority of kids under 18 do live with two parents. But while this is the case, increased cohabitation could certainly have an impact on familial stability.

“Almost half of cohabiting college-educated mothers will break up with their partner before their child turns 12, compared to less than one-fifth of mothers who were married when the child was born,” wrote W. Bradford Wilcox and Laurie DeRose in a memo explaining the study.

The executive summary has more about this overarching paradigm:

These findings are echoed in our country-level analysis that used data from across the globe. Although we did not have the data to relate partnership context at birth with subsequent family transitions for individual children outside the United States and Europe, we nonetheless show that a rise in the proportion of all births to cohabiting couples is associated with a later rise in the proportion of children living apart from at least one of their biological parents across 68 countries. Proportions born to single mothers are more strongly associated with later living arrangements than proportions born to cohabiting couples. Thus the retreat from marriage seems to decrease family stability for children in a wide variety of social contexts.

And it turns out that in the U.S. and Europe this paradigm isn’t all that different, with researchers finding that co-habitation simply isn’t as stable for children as is the institution of marriage. In Europe, for instance, kids are 90 percent more likely to see their co-habitating parents split than are kids from married families.

In fact, the study found that marriage was more important than education to family stability, according to Wilcox and DeRose.

“Our results suggest that there is something about marriage per se that bolsters stability,” the researchers wrote. “It could be the elaborate ritual marking the entry into marriage; the norms of commitment, fidelity, and permanence associated with the institution; the distinctive treatment of family and friends extended to married couples; or, most likely, a combination of all these things and more—that promotes greater commitment and stability.”

The report does note that, though marriage offers the most stability, co-habitation offers children more consistency than does single motherhood. Read the study in its entirety here.”

“In a halfway honest front-page article Thursday, the Washington Post posed the following question in the headline, “Enabler or family defender? How Hillary Clinton responded to husband’s accusers.”

I say “halfway” because reporter Shawn Boburg knew the answer to his question. Hillary provided it herself during a crucial “60 Minutes” interview to which Boburg alluded more than once. That interview took place on January 26, 1992, the day America first met Hillary Clinton.

Earlier that same month, Arkansas state employee Gennifer Flowers confessed to a tabloid that she and Bill Clinton had had a 12-year affair. In a Hail Mary attempt to save Bill’s candidacy, the Clintons agreed to the interview with CBS’s Steve Kroft.

When Kroft asked Bill about the affair, he answered, “That allegation is false.” Hillary, her hands lovingly intertwined with Bill’s, nodded her approval. Of course, they were both lying, Bill with much greater skill.

At this point in the interview, Hillary explained how Flowers’s claim surfaced. “When this woman first got caught up in these charges,” she said, “I felt as I’ve felt about all of these women: that they had just been minding their own business and they got hit by a meteor, and it was no fault of their own.”

Hillary then followed up with the assertion that answered the Washington Post’s question: “We reached out to them. I met with two of them to reassure them they were friends of ours.” (italics added) Yes, Hillary was — and still is — an enabler.

Hillary did not do all her own dirty work. As the Post acknowledges, in 1992 the Clinton campaign hired private detective Jack Palladino “to investigate the accusers involved in two dozen allegations.”

At the time, the Clinton campaign was insisting that these women were being pressured to lie by tabloids waving cash. Palladino’s role, as Clinton aide Betsy Wright memorably told the Post’s Michael Isikoff in July 1992, was to manage the “bimbo eruptions.”……”   Well, there’s much more to this drama……please read on!
