The man on the left flew to New York to beg for Donald Trump’s support in his 2012 run for President against Barack Hussein Obama.

He came to Trump again when he ran for the U.S. Senate after somehow losing the presidency to a Socialist Muslim no one had ever heard of before. Trump graciously helped him–again.

But Mitt Romney is a sorry politrickster. He let Manchurian candidate, Barack Obama, smoke him in the presidential race….but he won a seat in the Senate.

So Trump backs Romney twice, but when last week’s flap over a phone call exploded, Romney was the first to condemn the President. Say what?

What had Trump done? As Executive of the United States, back in August, he had a friendly conversation with the newly elected anti-corruption Ukraine President, Volodomyr Zelenskyy, congratulating him on his election and encouraging him to look into sinister activities involving Ukraine in the American election…back in 2016.

What could possibly be wrong with that? And Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said he was already doing just that.

So when hapless Mitt Romney condemned President Trump before even reading the transcript of the call, I immediately knew something was up. When I read it, there was absolutely nothing even interesting, much less amiss.

Why was Romney worried about Ukraine?

It was clear there was more to the story, but absent Romney’s baseless and immediate attack, I must admit that we never would have investigated. But boy-oh-boy, I’m glad we did.

BACKGROUND-In May of this year (2019) the Russia collusion narrative was proven a hoax by the Mueller Report. Considering the fact that all 18 of the ‘investigators’ were devout Hillary fans and contributors tells me that if something was ‘there’ we would know.

President Trump then ordered his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani—former 9/11 Mayor of New York and famous prosecutor of mobsters—as well as his Attorney General, William Barr—to find the origins of this expensive hoax that locked down the first years of his presidency. A fair question.

So just yesterday we learned Giuliani and Barr had travelled to meet with foreign leaders whose nations assisted in the attempted coup, by-passing the corrupt institutions of government that had participated in it. Why? It’s rather obvious.

The CIA, NSA, DNI and FBI were compromised.  It was actually these corrupt pieces of the U.S.  apparatus of State that led the coup and solicited foreign nations to play a role, so this was a wise—but completely unexpected – move by Trump.

That’s his specialty, and that is what will save him.

By May of 2019 it was also known that Democrats solicited Ukraine to ‘dig up dirt’ on the Trump campaign—which has now been admitted by Ukraine—using these same U.S. government entities as conduits to assist the DNC (Democrat National Committee) using a Ukraine-American spy, Alexandra Chalupa.

This was all confirmed by POLITICO in its rather amazing article published January 11, 2017, (they are extremely anti-Trump) but it’s out there. The Ukraine admitted what was done, and apologised. (https://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/ukraine-sabotage-trump-backfire-233446)

We also showed you a video last week of Vice President Joe Biden. He was bragging to the Council on Foreign Relations back in 2014 about extorting the Ukraine government into firing its Prosecutor General, Viktor Shokin.

As part of the corruption President Trump asked the new Ukraine president to ‘look into’, Biden forced the Ukraine through extortion (in the amount of $1.2 billion) to shut down the investigation of his son, Hunter, and Ukrainian company, Burisma Holdings. (See FAKE NEWS MEDIA TRUMPED AGAIN, September 24th, The Pickering Post, but you’ll have to search for the video now…surprise, surprise…it was taken down after posting…hey Harry, we’re being noticed!)

Among the corruption being investigated, Burisma Holdings was paying Rosemont Seneca, (owned by Vice-President Biden’s son, Hunter), $166,000 per month to ‘consult.’ His partners were Secretary of State, John Kerry’s step-son, and FBI murderer/Boston Gang Boss, Whitey Bulger’s nephew. Hmm. Nothing to see here.

In addition, the Vice President’s son, Hunter, was being paid $50,000 each month, to sit on the board of the natural gas company as its ‘legal advisor’ despite having no experience in Ukrainian law or natural gas.

The Democrats clearly expected Trump to either let all this go like most RINOs would; or leave it to their Deep State operatives to ‘investigate’.

The Dems knew their Deep State rats would prevent any meaningful review. They would make sure that Trump’s promise to ‘get to the bottom of it’ was enough to satisfy pissed-off Trump supporters without really getting near the bottom.

Meanwhile, they would get away with it as they had The Russia Hoax, the Hillary Clinton cover up, and the rest, including rapes, murders, and worse–treason.

No Dem ever pays for corruption in Washington, DC. Everyone knows this.

But there is a new sheriff in town folks

Donald J. Trump is not a RINO or DC insider.  He’s a tough-guy billionaire from Queens, New York and a street-fighter.

When the Democrats realised last week that Trump was actually heading up his own investigation rather than leaving it to their Deep State apparatchiks—and doing so directly with the leaders of Ukraine, Australia, and Italy (and perhaps the U.K.)—they did the political equivalent of starting a fire in a theatre.

House of Representatives Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, announced impeachment proceedings against the president just three hours after stating in a speech that she would not. Speaker Pelosi had zero evidence, cause, stated reason and lacked the required vote of the House of Representatives to do so, but announced it anyway.

Strangely enough…and what caught my attention… Mitt Romney jumped on the “Impeach Trump” train that same day.

How did Nancy go from “There will be no impeachment proceedings,” that morning in New York to announcing impeachment proceedings that afternoon when she got back to Washington, DC?

Meet the Grand Master of the Deep State in America. Admitted Communist, John Brennan, who has some serious explaining to do now that his attempted coup of U.S. President Donald Trump has been exposed..and continues!

So why did Romney want to shut down any investigation of Ukraine’s role as well?

That’s the question that got this investigation started and it’s shocking. Romney’s National Security Advisor, Joseph Cofer Black, sits on the Board of the same Burisma Holdings that was being investigated for corruption back in 2014, and the Vice President and Obama Administration demanded be shut down. Why? Because Burisma was/is their vehicle for corrupt practices in Eastern Europe.

And CIA Director, John Brennan’s 9/11 Deep State partner, Cofer Black, is still the link to all that goes on there. In fact, I can state unequivocally that Burisma is the centre of Ukraine corruption and the Democrats’ shadow organisation for corrupt activities. I live in Eastern Europe (Poland) and my sources are first-hand.

And I know this matters greatly to Mitt Romney as he is not yet done with politics. If Black is busted, it will reflect on Romney, and it only makes sense that Cofer Black is the Deep State ‘plant’ in case Romney ever rises above polishing knobs in the U.S. Senate.

Romney wants to run for President again in 2024 and if he wins, Cofer Black will be back with his fingers on the strings either as DNI or CIA Chief of Corruption.

Burisma Holdings is the hub of U.S. Democrat activities to corrupt both Ukraine and American politics and there is proof. Ukraine President Zelenskyy’s win surprised both Brennan and Black’s Deep State ops as much as Trump’s did in 2016 in America.

So who is this Cofer Black guy?

Joseph Cofer Black, joined the CIA in 1974 and rose to be Director of The National Counterterrorism Center, before joining Mitt Romney. If it were not for researching this article, I admit, he was unknown to me as well. What a revelation.

Black was also the Head of Counterintelligence who somehow missed the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington, though according to The Economist, 16 foreign leaders and heads of intelligence agencies warned him it was not only going to happen but when. Oh well. And nothing was done about Cofer Black for this, indicating this is what the Deep State wanted.

But it goes deeper. John Brennan and this guy, Cofer Black, are how 19 terrorists got into the U.S.A. to attack the U.S. on 9/11. Editor Harry will jump on me or make Nurse Ratched give me a dose of Castor Oil if I say something I can’t prove, so I’m just going to quote the CIA whistleblower at the Jeddah, Saudi Arabia CIA staff hearing, who is the source:

“According to Freedom Outpost, Brennan was the CIA station chief in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, when the 9/11 hijackers were given visas to travel to the United States.

“In September 2014, a whistleblower named Greg Ford, a former military intelligence officer, told Ground Zero Radio’s Clyde Lewis that the CIA had objections to the approval of those visas but Brennan actually overrode them.”

The second in command of the CIA station was directly quoted by the whistleblower as saying, ‘No way, absolutely we are not going to stamp those visas.’

But CIA Saudi station chief, John Brennan, overrode the officer in charge and ordered the visas to be stamped and issued. They came, they learned to ‘take off’ an airplane but said they were not interested in ‘how to land.’

Cofer Black ignored the reports about this strange behaviour, though it was made, I know as a fact, from the people who made it. I was also a Florida-based pilot in 2001.

You know the rest of the story. America lost over 3,000 citizens that day, and I sat for an hour trying to get past the terrorist pilots’ apartment in Coral Springs, Florida.

Freedom Outpost concluded, “If it weren’t for John Brennan, 9/11 may never have happened.”  I’d add to that, if Cofer Black weren’t the head of Counterterrorism, Brennan could not have gotten his men in to do the job. It took (these) two to tango. That’s an opinion, not news, but I’ll bet money I don’t have, that I’m right as it’s a no risk bet. These are partners in crime.

Brennan definitely had help in this.  These terrorists had to have someone at the highest level in U.S. Counterintelligence to let their mission come to pass and succeed by ignoring all the warnings.

They even took their flight training near my home and I remember being locked down in Coral Springs, FL after 9/11 where they lived for three days while the FBI went through their apartment just a few blocks away.

And this is where Romney’s man, Joseph Cofer Black, comes in. He was the partner in crime of John Brennan, (the Deep State Master), as well as being Mitt Romney’s National Security Advisor. Bad news for Mittens.

And Cofer Black is the reason Romney is desperate to have President Trump’s real investigation shut down. Also FACT

I thought we were talking about Ukraine?

Yes, we are.  But we just learned all of this through researching why Mitt Romney wanted to hide what happened in Ukraine and was willing to trash President Donald Trump to do it. That makes this all relevant and pretty damn interesting to me.

As Obama’s CIA Director, John Brennan was also in charge of the dirty tricks campaign against then-candidate, Donald Trump. FACT

All of that has now been uncovered by investigative reporters Gregg Jarrett (The Russia Hoax) and Peter Schweizer (Secret Empires) with enough references to satisfy Editor Harry and Nurse Ratched.

Amazingly, the plot was actually laid by the Deep State in 2014 before they even knew Trump would be Hillary’s foil in 2016.

I found that part pretty amazing.

The Ukraine/Russia story was created for whomever was the candidate to run against Hillary Clinton.

For John Brennan, it really didn’t matter to him who ran on the Republican side. He just cared that whomever it was, lost to the Deep State’s choice – Hillary Clinton.

Brennan, Black, James Clapper, James Comey and a host of others were prepared to make sure of it.

It was exposed just last week that Brennan flew under a fake passport to avoid detection on his trip to set this up in Eastern Europe as early as 2015. There is no explanation for a CIA Director to do this unless what he was doing was illegal.

Now let’s go back to Joseph Cofer Black. He is Romney’s Ukraine man, and Brennan’s long-time associate who is still covering here in Eastern Europe (from where I am reporting) for the Deep State in America.

Brennan came back Stateside from the Saudi Arabian CIA office the year after arranging for the 9/11 attackers to get into America. So what did he do? He took over CIA Counterintelligence from his partner, Cofer Black.  Convenient, eh?

The Counterintelligence guy who ‘missed’ the 16 warnings on 9/11, and the guy who granted the attackers visas to get into the U.S. to take pilot training and do it, swap jobs, perhaps to prevent detection? Well it worked…until now.

And history repeats. The tag team is back at it

Barack Obama chose (or was told) to make John Brennan his CIA Director.  Brennan then sets up the Russian hoax through the Ukraine government and intel operatives covertly in 2015 to target any candidate who might face Hillary Clinton in 2016. FACT

Once Trump became the Republican candidate, President Obama authorised illegal spying on Trump’s campaign, we now know, because it was labeled a ‘counterintelligence operation’ which can only be authorised by a President. FACT

The script for the Ukraine/Russia hoax was actually written back in 2007 to use against Republican candidate, John McCain. It was temporarily deployed but then shut down and recycled when it was clear RINO McCain would get his ass handed to him by Obama in 2008 without CIA involvement. FACT

So, Brennan decided to use the script in 2016. The Republican’s candidate would be targeted using the same plan, according to one of Obama’s own secret service agents, now author, Dan Bongino, in his new book, Exonerated (just out last week).

The original script was written by Fusion GPS owner, Glenn Simpson. That’s the same man and company who would be paid $12 million by the Clinton Campaign, The Democrat National Committee and the FBI in 2016 for “the Steele dossier” that caused the Russia Hoax against Trump—though actually written years earlier. Glenn Simpson simply changed the names. FACT

Unfortunately, there was a problem. Socialist Bernie Sanders was leading the Democrats side over the Chosen, Hillary, and had to be eliminated.

To achieve this, the Clintons literally did a forced takeover of The Democrat National Committee and its funds.

They immediately cut off Hillary’s rival, Bernie Sander’s campaign (as admitted by former DNC Director, Donna Brazille, on television) eliminating Bernie from the race.

John Brennan then began leaking the ‘dossier’ to Congressional Democrats, including then-House Speaker, Harry Reid and their media co-conspirators to begin the take down of the Republican candidate, Donald J. Trump.

Ironically, Brennan also leaked the fake dossier to Sen. John McCain, it’s original target, and McCain leaked it back to its original source—the FBI—to apply for warrants to spy on Trump using their own laundered information.

The FBI literally paid for the fabricated information, leaked it to the media and politicians who hated Trump, then used their reports and that dossier when fed back to them, to get warrants to spy on Trump.

But then the kimchee hits the fan for real. Trump gets elected! So, who jumps over to Ukraine to protect the conspiracy from being found out?

Brennan’s 9/11 partner, Joseph Cofer Black.. Within days of Trump’s inauguration was immediately put in place in Ukraine to prevent anyone from talking.

The Board of Burisma Holdings—the same centre of Ukraine corruption used by Joe Biden in 2014 to enrich his kid— was the base from which to shield the Democrat origins of the Russia Hoax and its intel roots from any real investigation.

By February of 2017, Cofer Black was a voting member of the Board of Burisma

The first university learning degree I received was in 1956 with a major in Geography and minor in Russian.    I was exploring.   Grades had meaning then.   I wanted to study the world and learn a foreign language.   Russian was an easy choice for me….nothing to do with ancestry.  It had to do with my and my country’s  future.  The fascist, terrifying USSR was then the powerful enemy of our American way.

My instructors, solid professors, were all male and all phD’s….NO funky graduate students who could barely speak English, and no easy gradings for leftists as in our ‘modern’ era.    Tuition cost me only $30 per quarter.

We undergraduates were often told at the beginning of each  class instruction to look to the front, to the back and to both sides and then yourself because in two years three of you today’s  students will no longer be at the University of Minnesota’s College of Liberal Arts.   They told the Truth as it turned out.

To get this first college degree I had to study climatology,  geology,  geomorphology,  astronomy, as well as geography of the world’s continents and their countries which truly fascinated me.

No longer did I have to cheat about reading novels in those English classes.   I suffer a dyslexia, (not yet ‘invented’ then, so I had no clue)…. I couldn’t, can’t,  make anything out of  reading real novels.    I have those  remarkable visual skills I was born with, instead.

It was the content of novels.    I’d buy the classic comics such as Dicken’s Tale of Two Cities, zip through them, enjoy them enough to search out and then read accurately  in the actual novel the most exciting sections of the novel.    Anything by William Thackeray, and such, was  too dull, to distant visually from the mind or whatever,  to remember or  grasp anything.  Mentally, I couldn’t connect  every time I’d try to read a novel.

I have a personal library in my old age of a couple thousand books, mostly  texts,  histories,  biographies,  “1984”, reality stuff including nineteenth century readings like McGuffey readers.   Here, my memory was solid.   I loved sharing these  learnings, so my first career became teaching high schoolers…….

I learned something about the disappearance of the dinosaurs those 65 million years ago…..you remember, those huge creatures running around America’s Dakota’s, eating those fern trees and the tonnage of the Brontosaurs, the ones especially  tasty to Tyrannosaurus Rex…..

……and the more recent stuff including  the glacial periods of tens of thousands of years ago…..like the last one  in northern Minnesota around Duluth before Lake Superior was born with the melting of thousands of feet of glacial ice!!!

THANK GOD FOR THAT GLOBAL WARMING OR WE HUMANS WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LIVE HERE….but our today’s lefty Democrat Party doesn’t give a damn about TRUTH!.   They don’t seem to be interested in knowledge either.

Neither were the Soviets, folks.

Will Congress Republicans Ever Do Their Duty to Act to End Border Crisis?

When historians look back to this era, they will wonder why we insisted on outsourcing our border control to a foreign country.

President Trump’s threat to close down the borderwith Mexico isn’t a sign of strength, but of frustration fading into desperation.

He is reacting with understandable alarm at a spiraling migrant crisis on the border, and looking to Mexico to address it because we are unwilling to do it on our own — not unable, unwilling.

There were more than 100,000 apprehensions at the border in March, an increase from the 76,000 in February. The numbers for both months were the highest in 10 years. The total for the fiscal year could hit a million, a historic surge completely overwhelming our capabilities.

We built our border facilities to hold single men, back when illegal migrants were largely adult males from Mexico, rather than family units from Central America. This means that they are ill-suited for the needs of women and children. Regardless, the sheer numbers are leading to authorities releasing migrants almost as soon as they are caught.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen warned Congress last week of “the real-time dissolution of the immigration system.”

It’s not that border control has been tried and failed; it hasn’t been tried. Thanks to court decrees and congressional enactments, we don’t permit ourselves to quickly return minors from Central American countries, or to detain them for any significant period of time. They get released, along with the adults accompanying them.

The asylum process is broken. The initial so-called credible-fear interview to determine whether asylum-seekers get to the next step of the process approves almost all of them, even if they are unlikely ultimately to win asylum. In the meantime, they are waved into the country and probably never removed.

The migrants coming in increasing numbers realize we are helpless to exclude them, and indeed, surrender to border patrol agents when they get here.

Congress could fix all this in an afternoon, with a few key changes in the law. Trump has a Nancy Pelosi problem much more than an Andrés Manuel López Obrador problem. But, since Pelosi is unmovable, Trump has to try to work the Mexican president.

Mexico has done more to play ball with the US under Trump than most people would have thought possible, yet all the migrants showing up at our border are still traveling through the country. Mexico doesn’t make controlling these migrants a high priority because they will end up here, not there.

The talk of cutting off the border isn’t aimed at the migrants, who largely don’t come through ports of entry, but at forcing the Mexican government to do more. Maybe the mere threat of the resulting economic disruption will work.

But if Trump goes through with closing the border, the strategy has some of the same weaknesses as the government shutdown earlier this year. Where does it end? If Mexico doesn’t act quickly, how long are we going to keep the border closed?

The longer it’s closed, the more pain will be felt in the US economy at a time when there are already signs of softness. What if Mexico initially buckles, then backslides? Will we shut down the border again, or threaten to?

Even if this gambit were guaranteed to succeed, it’s insane that a sovereign country of unparalleled power has tied its own hands such that it must try to bully and cajole a foreign nation to do immigration enforcement for it.

In a more rational world, Congress would take seriously the spectacle of US officials — and humanitarian organizations — scrambling to handle a flood of humanity showing up every day, and give them the legal authorities and resources to get the situation under control. That it won’t is a dereliction of duty of the highest order.

But there is an obvious subtext. The liberal media, which deplored Bush when he was an active politician, is happy to praise him now because it provides an opportunity to highlight President Donald Trump’s alleged failings of character and personality. The novel The Godfather tells the story of a Mafia don or boss, Vito Corleone, and how he runs “the business.”  One of the most famous lines from the movie is the Godfather explaining how he’ll prevail, how he’ll get what he asks for: “I’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse.”

One such offer is made to a big band leader who won’t release Vito’s godson from a contract: $10,000 to sign the release.  When the offer’s refused, Vito goes back to the band leader with his enforcer, Luca Brasi.  Luca holds a gun to the man’s head, and Vito explains that either his brains or his signature will be on the contract.

The media are the Democrats’ Luca Brasi, the #MeToo movement the gun.

Democrats have repeatedly warned the GOP not to confirm Judge Kavanaugh, but Republicans aren’t getting the message.  Send in the muscle.

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford steps forward to say she was attacked by Kavanaugh at a drunken episode somewhere, sometime, somehow.  Dr. Ford claims that 36 years ago or thereabouts, she was assaulted by two boys, who, stumbling drunk, jumped on top of her and tried to undress her.  One horrifying detail is that one boy (Judge Kavanaugh) covered her mouth so no one could hear her scream.

On its face, the charge is ludicrous. Judge Kavanaugh is a sterling example of a decent, honorable man.  He coaches his girl’s soccer team, feeds the homeless in his spare time, and has spent a lifetime building his impeccable reputation.  Yet this woman wants us to believe he attacked her in a drunken mêlée.

To accuse Judge Kavanaugh of being wildly drunk and attacking this woman is like accusing Mother Teresa of stealing from the poor before she became a nun – though I’m sure that if Mother Teresa had been nominated for the Supreme Court, she’d have had to prove she’d never taken bread from emaciated children.

With the charge levied, the media pounce on this story as a means to bludgeon the president and Judge Kavanaugh into submission.  Every headline, cable show, and news outlet features indignant senators railing against “old white men” picking on this woman, “blaming the victim,” “bullying her.”

Ironically, the real victim here is Judge Kavanaugh.  Whether or not Dr. Ford ever suffered this attack, it wasn’t by Kavanaugh.  His high school classmates can’t even remember seeing him drunk, much less aggressive.

No one wants Luca Brasi at his doorstep, so all of these people tout the seriousness of the charge, the victim’s right to be heard.  And by God, no one had better grill her for details that could cast doubt on her story.

Media continually step up their game.  Afraid that “almost molested” won’t carry the day, they work in the word “rape” as often as possible.  They couch it in “attempted,” knowing that even the alleged incident never came close to rape.  But see what they do here: get me and others to defend against the escalated charges, to argue that it wasn’t really rape, thereby indirectly validating the alleged crime.

Media are able to control the attack narrative because we, unsuspecting viewers, allowed them into our homes, delegated them the authority to filter and deliver our news.  They’re now all-powerful.

Media also send warnings to anyone thinking about opposing them.

One example is Matt Lauer.  After he asked Hillary Clinton hard questions about her private server in the “Commander-in-Chief Forum,” months later, Lauer was accused of sexual misconduct, a charge that cost him his career and reputation.

The left leaves a trail of destruction for their enemies: Corey Lewandowski now labeled a bully, Judge Roy Moore among those too damaged by media to even defend, careers torched, reputations in ashes.  The message: Those who step out of line will pay – not with brass knuckles and billy clubs, but with accusers who can’t be doubted and must be believed, no matter how outrageous the charge.

Whether or not the event actually happened, the coverage is the same.  Politicians and news and cable hosts lecture us on the severity, the horror of whatever.  They repeat identical talking points over and over, tyrannize audiences with interminable coverage of the beating.  Waterboarding could not be more torture than these screeching, hateful liberals lecturing us on how we “must” think and act.

Sadly, too many conservatives join the pile-on.  Due to their abject terror of the enforcer, Republicans and conservatives actually echo the left’s talking points.  Sean Hannity repeatedly says “this is a serious charge” and “she must be heard” while furtively looking over his shoulder for Luca to step out of the shadows with a tire iron.

We can’t expect congressional Republicans to stop the madness; they’re cowering in chamber corners, pleading with the mob not to dismember them.

It’s a protection racket, an extortion scheme not at all different from the shop-owner who pays the mob $100 a week to protect the shop from destruction, his family from harm.  People are willing to pay to be left alone, not to be attacked.

So it is with Republicans: either they stand down or they’re next.  Then they will be the poor saps facing an accuser who must be believed, who can’t be challenged, who will have groups making ads to condemn the accused, 24-7 media confirmation of the alleged crime, and an accuser who’s off-limits.

So they allow the media to hammer home the charges until everyone in this country is aware of the accusations.  They let Dr. Ford set up all parameters of when she’ll speak, if ever.  Senator Grassley sets a deadline, then postpones it again and again because Dr. Ford is scared, she can’t fly, she’s trying to think, OK?

Whether Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmed or not, Senate leaders have allowed his reputation to be sullied, the only black mark on a great man’s record.  They’ve let media broadcast this travesty for more than a week – wall-to-wall coverage of the smear.

But Congress doesn’t really have a choice.  The enforcer is waiting for these congressmen to make the wrong move.  Either they cave to Dr. Ford’s every demand or they face a brutal media campaign that could cost them the majority in upcoming midterms.

It’s an offer they can’t refuse.

The novel The Godfather tells the story of a Mafia don or boss, Vito Corleone, and how he runs “the business.”  One of the most famous lines from the movie is the Godfather explaining how he’ll prevail, how he’ll get what he asks for: “I’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse.”

One such offer is made to a big band leader who won’t release Vito’s godson from a contract: $10,000 to sign the release.  When the offer’s refused, Vito goes back to the band leader with his enforcer, Luca Brasi.  Luca holds a gun to the man’s head, and Vito explains that either his brains or his signature will be on the contract.

The media are the Democrats’ Luca Brasi, the #MeToo movement the gun.

Democrats have repeatedly warned the GOP not to confirm Judge Kavanaugh, but Republicans aren’t getting the message.  Send in the muscle.

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford steps forward to say she was attacked by Kavanaugh at a drunken episode somewhere, sometime, somehow.  Dr. Ford claims that 36 years ago or thereabouts, she was assaulted by two boys, who, stumbling drunk, jumped on top of her and tried to undress her.  One horrifying detail is that one boy (Judge Kavanaugh) covered her mouth so no one could hear her scream.

On its face, the charge is ludicrous. Judge Kavanaugh is a sterling example of a decent, honorable man.  He coaches his girl’s soccer team, feeds the homeless in his spare time, and has spent a lifetime building his impeccable reputation.  Yet this woman wants us to believe he attacked her in a drunken mêlée.

To accuse Judge Kavanaugh of being wildly drunk and attacking this woman is like accusing Mother Teresa of stealing from the poor before she became a nun – though I’m sure that if Mother Teresa had been nominated for the Supreme Court, she’d have had to prove she’d never taken bread from emaciated children.

With the charge levied, the media pounce on this story as a means to bludgeon the president and Judge Kavanaugh into submission.  Every headline, cable show, and news outlet features indignant senators railing against “old white men” picking on this woman, “blaming the victim,” “bullying her.”

Ironically, the real victim here is Judge Kavanaugh.  Whether or not Dr. Ford ever suffered this attack, it wasn’t by Kavanaugh.  His high school classmates can’t even remember seeing him drunk, much less aggressive.

No one wants Luca Brasi at his doorstep, so all of these people tout the seriousness of the charge, the victim’s right to be heard.  And by God, no one had better grill her for details that could cast doubt on her story.

Media continually step up their game.  Afraid that “almost molested” won’t carry the day, they work in the word “rape” as often as possible.  They couch it in “attempted,” knowing that even the alleged incident never came close to rape.  But see what they do here: get me and others to defend against the escalated charges, to argue that it wasn’t really rape, thereby indirectly validating the alleged crime.

Media are able to control the attack narrative because we, unsuspecting viewers, allowed them into our homes, delegated them the authority to filter and deliver our news.  They’re now all-powerful.

(Note:  I, ghr, am old enough to remember when adult American females were beautiful women, mothers  well dressed when out in public, outstanding loving, caring, mothers,  supported and protected by their husbands…..Churched mothers!!! whose children learned the power and joy of good and battle of good over evil.  Goodness was nurtured at home and  authoritatively practiced side by side learnings at school.

Adult authority reigned throughout our St. Paul, Minnesota public schools.  Teachers, almost all of mine from K through twelfth grade, were “old maids”  exquisitely prepared to teach  knowledge  and maintain civility in those days.  Although I was dyslexic, crippled at reading…unknown in those years, they made me learn, absorb, and explore knowledge with  the skills they, themselves,  had amassed from their God-fearing generation….and helped me love life and the Earth’s  world around me, ever stimulating my natural drive to be curious seeking Truth and Knowledge to this very day.

Both political parties of the day were led and educated by God-fearing folk and practiced what they learned in Church and school…..certainly in public!  Neighbors knew neighbors in our part of town.  Jews were they only “minority” in the community where I lived and was schooled.  They preferred  remaining by themselves both inside and outside of school until high school.   There were no “junior” high schools in the city then.  No one was dumb enough yet to create such atrocities against learning and civility.

Adults of that day would be shocked, disbelieving of the vulgarity,  piggish obesity, ignorance and sexual arrogance and the mouths of today’s Democrat Party’s university and school programmed feminists and Godless males and the bratty beings in between.)

MUELLER INDICTS A HAM SANDWICH

In “Robert Mueller would prefer not to” we took a look at Special Counsel Mueller’s reluctance to proceed with criminal case he has brought against Concord Management, one of the three Russian entities he has indicted. There I noted that Mueller appeared not to anticipate that any of the defendants would appear in court to defend against the charges. Rather, Mueller seems to have obtained the indictment to serve a public relations purpose, laying out the case for interference as understood by the government and lending a veneer of respectability to the Mueller Switch Project.

Concord Management appeared through counsel at the Reed Smith law firm before United States Magistrate Judge Michael Harvey to plead not guilty. Bloomberg provides a straightforward account of the hearing here. Attorney Eric Dubelier speaks on behalf of Concord Management. Dubelier evinces a sardonic attitude to the case. When discussion turns to the question whether he represents Concord Catering (another charged Russian entity), Dubelier states: “I think we’re dealing with the government having indicted the proverbial ham sandwich. That company didn’t exist as a legal entity during the time period alleged by the government.”

Dubelier, however, is big about it. “If at some later time [the government] shows me that it did exist, we would probably represent them. But for the purpose of today, no, we do not.”

Dubelier in any event entered a plea of not guilty on behalf of Concord Management. We will be following this case as closely as possible.

ABC: Mueller Now Probing Inaugural Committee Fundraising

“And so the wide-ranging special counsel investigation ranges even further, raising questions about the transition as well as about the investigation itself. ABC News reports that Robert Mueller’s team has questioned a number of people about the massive fundraising for Donald Trump’s inauguration. The largely unregulated process raised $107 million from lots of sources, not all of them within the US:

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has questioned several witnesses about millions of dollars in donations to President Donald Trump’s inauguration committee last year, including questions about donors with connections to Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, sources with direct knowledge told ABC News.

Those interviewed included longtime Trump friend and confidant Thomas Barrack, who oversaw the fundraising effort, as well as individuals familiar with the massive inaugural fund, according to sources with direct knowledge. …

According to a source who has sat with the Mueller team for interviews in recent weeks, the special counsel is examining donors who have either business or personal connections in Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Several donors with those ties contributed large sums to the non-profit fundraising entity – gifts that topped out at $1 million dollars, according to public records.

The donors noted by ABC include one well-known name, Viktor Vekselberg, at least indirectly. The Russian billionaire, already under indictment by Robert Mueller, attended the inauguration, but it was his American relative and business partner Andrew Intrater who dropped a big chunk of money into the inauguration fund. Another billionaire with ties to Russia, Leonard Blatavnik, coughed up a million dollars as well. Intrater made two donations in 2017 to the RNC and their joint Trump Victory fund, both within the legal limits.

Certainly the existence of Russian influencers among the donors would catch the attention of investigators. The timing on all of this seems rather curious, including that of the report. These donations were listed on FEC records for a very long time, so why this has become an issue of late — if that’s the case — is somewhat confusing.

More confusing, though, is what this has to do with Russian collusion during the election. The hypothesis, for which we have seen no real evidence, is that the Trump campaign worked with Russia to (a) hack the DNC and (b) smear Hillary Clinton before Election Day. None of this has anything to do with the election. Why would Intrater’s legal donations in 2017 have anything to do with Mueller’s core mission? If they were illegal, that’s something that the Department of Justice could deal with directly without the special counsel.

The idea that Russian oligarchs involved in election influence bought Trump’s goodwill with massive inaugural-committee donations is somewhat silly, but also undermines the collusion theory. If collusion took place, why would Vekselberg et al feel the need to butter up Trump by putting large amounts of cash into his inaugural party? If they had that kind of dirt on Trump, they wouldn’t give him money — they’d threaten to release it.

Perhaps all of this ties together in some strange way, but at least from ABC’s report, it appears that Mueller and his team are straying further from their core mission. It gives the impression that these prosecutors are looking for crimes to bring to trial rather than limiting themselves to their brief … and not for the first time, either.”
